The staff are very nice at this location. I went here a few months ago and ultimately wasn't very happy/satisfied. There are other eye doctor offices that have much more modern equipment for measuring the eye for prescriptions. The eye doctor made a pretty big reduction to the strength of my prescription despite me telling him I had been in that strength for a very long time. I know they offer refitting for contacts if you aren't satisfied, but I opted to visit another office where I felt they had better equipment and an autorefractor to do the job.

Throughout my 10 years of residing in Seattle, I have had my eye care needs and my medically challenged daughter’s glasses needs met at several different venues. I am a consumer who prefers to be loyal, to find the supportive match to our needs and stick with it. Finally, I feel that we have found the perfect fit for both of us. The location is easy to access by wheelchair, parking is relatively easy, and it is close to our home. The kindness of Everyone working there goes beyond what I’ve experienced previously. Paul, the optician, works equally well with my nonverbal daughter as he does me. What a gift for our family.! And Dr. Henry Fang makes the eye exam so effortless. If it is possible to arrive at a home spot for eye care, we finally have.

I did my annual eye exam here and had a great experience with Dr Fang and also the receptionist (sorry I forgot her name!). Dr Fang was very patient and he answered all my questions professionally. He also helped me review the results I did with Polyclinic (didn’t go there coz they dropped VSP this year) and compared with the data he did for me to ease my concern. I highly recommend Seattle Eye!!

My husband is Software Engineer, when he read about usefulness of Gunnar Glasses which eliminate digital eye strain & block blue light, basically protecting the eyes more, he wanted to get Gunnar glasses so that he can focus more , work longer efficiently . They were only three shops in Seattle , selling Gunnar glasses in that Seattle Eye MD has good reviews , Doctors & customer service was good . We had eye exam, doctor carefully read about medical history of eye because back in India my husband has KXL surgery & suggested the best one . One issue we faced over there is, doctor & Seattle eye service has both different insurance policies , For VSP policy , Doctor was "In Network " and Seattle eye glass shop was "Out of Network "so we had to pay full amount & claim it back

Came in for a eye exam/contact lens fitting. I wanted to leave a review for Nancy who helped me put my contacts in for the first time. I blink alot when I try to put things near my eyes so it took about an 40-60 minutes total for me to get both lenses in and out. Nancy was super helpful and patient with me and offered good tips on ways I can get lenses in and out given my sensitive eyes/eyelids. Dr. Fang was great as well.

I visited Dr. Fang’s office last Monday since my eyes have been burning with pain sharply. As I moved to Seattle, I was nervous as a new comer. Setting aside my concerns, Dr. Fang was so kind and knowledgeable insofar as I spread good words about him. I followed all that he ordered me to do with medicine. I found the most amazing Tom Ford opticals with a blue light reducing lens... Paul is a genius at identify the best fit for your face and style😍. I couldn't be happier.

10/10 would recommend. Scheduling was really easy and the front desk team reached out to me to make sure they had all my information on file prior to my appointment so that I could go straight to the doctor once I arrived (much appreciated during covid!) Dr. Fang has great bedside manner - he answered all my questions and explained everything he was doing very clearly. Also, they have glasses in their showroom marketed as "Asian fit" - as someone who has a low nose bridge (and whose glasses are always sliding down), I can't tell you how much of a game changer this is. I didn't buy any frames today but really excited to go back and peruse!

The whole team went above and beyond to accommodate and out of town walk-in. They were willing to try 3 different contact lenses for my first fitting, this ensured we found the best fit with the sharpest vision. Their selection of frames was very diverse and Paul was able to make sure my new purchase would be delivered to the next stop in my travels. Great experience all around. Great location, just above the city floor. I plan to get a second set of frames from their selection once I am ready.

Super accommodating: I had to reschedule the first appointment and was late to the second one but Dr. Fang took me in and was an absolute pleasure, unquestionably professional, very friendly and easy going, and so willing to share and educate. He definitely took his time with me, too, which is always appreciated, right? And then I got to enjoy the company of Paul who was helpful, smart and funny, and managed to find a perfect pair of frames for me that I would never think of myself! A chill vibe to the place, a nice selection... Just wish they could validate my parking :) (Or, maybe they could, eh? Will ask the next time.)

This is my first eye exam at this facility. I would say Dr. Fang is really amazing. He took his time during my eye exam for glasses and contacts fittings. I don’t feel being rush at all and he is very polite. About the front desk staff she’s very knowledgeable too! about their products and insurance. I recommended this place to my friend already who needs to do his eye exam soon!

My first contact was with the receptionist whom was very knowledgeable and courteous. Next was the doctor, and entertained all my random questions about ocular health with a smile. They had a wide selection of frames (even with a small section at a fair discount), and I was able to find a pair that I loved and it was fairly inexpensive as far as frames go. I was told I'd receive my new glasses within ten business days, and although the fabrication center had to delay mine, Seattle Eye did everything they could to get them to me swiftly, even notifying me of the status of my glasses. I'm sure there's something to complain about, but I can't think of any.

I have been going here for years. I don't have glasses but have gone for medical. I always feel very well taken care of. The doctor takes his time and listens to what I have to say and offers recommendations for speedy recovery. Getting an appointment is fast and they work with my schedule. I highly recommend Seattle Eye.

Great experience. I was nervous about the doctor change since Dr. Crowell took such good care of me, but Dr. Fang made the transition of care very easy. He is young yet very knowledgeable and I was confident in his ability. He gave me honest feedback about questions I had concerning lasix surgery, and did not try to sell me on anything; he just gave me information and educated me so that I could make my own decisions. Very pleased. The front desk receptionist was also great and helped me save the most money buying new glasses, even though it wasn’t from their office. I highly recommend this practice for your eye care!

They're awesome, and efficient. From a high level of service, to quick and efficient appointments, to getting all the details right I highly trust Seattle Eye. As an aside, there are a few minor details that I normally ask my optometrist for - having a contacts prescription for 2 years instead of just 1 year, emailing receipts and prescriptions, specific insurance requests - that they do by default, without me having to ask.

I am really happy with the services I received at Seattle Eye.The Staff were so helpful and knowledgeable that it made my experience that much better. I would say that this place has some great designer frames and the selection is wonderful. I really like their prompt service. The prices here are reasonable especially for it being located in downtown Seattle. I received my new frames and prescription in the mail in about a week and half which I think is a great turn around service. Will keep going back. Dr. Crowell is great too.

Called in and was told that I was in network. Have eye exam and lenses made. Turns out they're not in network and my insurance won't cover...They were nice enough to take back the lenses and issue full refund. Eye exam was 10$ more than it needed to be but whatevs. They're nice, but definitely check with your insurance first before buying. I bumped up this review by a star bc the manager, Rain, reached out to me and straightened the situation out. She issued a full refund on the lenses due to the insurance problem. I was very impressed. Overall, I would recommend.

Dr. Cowell is one of the best doctors I have seen in respect to their fields. I have always gone to a high volume optometry in the past and after trying out Dr. Cowell, I will never go back or to anyone else. His knowledge is top of the line, he cares about his patients, but most importantly, he works with you as a patient to get you what you want. The care is individualized to only you. The entire staff is friendly and all willing to make sure you get what you want. They care about your vision and eye health. HIGHLY recommend going here!

My previous eye doctor in Ballard gave me the wrong prescription. The glasses never felt right, and I went back twice to check and the issue remained the same. Dr Fang figured out the issue and gave me the right prescription.

I would recommend this place to anyone who needs vision care. The appointment is very flexible. I called for a visual exam in the morning and I had my eye examined at noon. The optometrist was very efficient and patient. He was willing to answer all your concerns about vision care.

Here's the real secret about this place... If you go in, during business hours, and you don't buy their glasses... they're still actually super nice. They're genuinely friendly, and not just trying to sell you something. They help you, they listen, pay attention to your needs, and will even clean and make minor adjustments to your personal glasses, while you're looking around. In Seattle? That's unheard of.
