Fantastic service and the lens quality is amazing! I ordered my first pair of prescription sunglasses from Eyes on Fremont and couldn’t be happier. I’ve never had polarized lenses that are so crisp with great contrast and with a perfect progression from distance to reading. And the frames are unique and stylish. Love it!

Super dope space! I took a pair of my sunglasses (that I hadn’t purchased at EOF) and asked to have them repaired. It was a simple fix and they were so kind. Fixed them in less than 10 minutes. They have the coolest selection of craft frames and sunglasses I’ve seen. They hooked it up. 11/10

Loyal, doting customer here. I’ve gotten several pairs of glasses and sunglasses at Eyes on Fremont over the years and just can’t justify going anywhere else! The frame selection is pretty stellar and always rotating, so you get a unique pair. They’re pretty affordable too, more so than most optometrists’ offices. Just got Rx Rudy Project sunglasses there too, first time I was able to find sports sunglasses that would accept my Rx with significant astigmatisms. And importantly, the opticians are wonderful! They’re welcoming, friendly, honest, professional, offer good feedback and haven’t led me astray yet! They’re great at finding a pair that suits what you’re looking for and fits your face, and will often bring out more frames from their inventory that aren’t displayed to help with that. Overall, I’ve had really great experiences there! Before your Eyes on Fremont visit, might as well walk a few blocks away and grab a coffee from Lighthouse Roasters, then after, pick up some cool cookbooks next door and make an outing out of it!

I have always dealt with thick lenses and my eyes looking so small when wearing my glasses that I have had in the past. I finally found a place that made glasses for me that people can see my big brown eyes in because of the proper help in selection of frames and making of the lenses. I have not in my whole life been able to see as well as I do with the glasses I have got from here. This place also has a really nice selection of frames to fit all kinds of personalities!! And they are made with very very good quality. And one of the best parts is the staff they are so friendly and warm welcomed me the first time I came in!! What can I say? I love Eyes On Fremont! I tell everyone about this place. First of all the service is top-notch, they really know how to fit the frame to your face and they understand how to choose a flattering frame and color. Amazing & fun selection of frames made by smaller businesses. Great service at the shop, come back if they are really busy and you’d like more assistance looking at frames. Once the lenses arrive, Eyes on Fremont always is willing to work with me to get my glasses just right, including the angle of the lens which really makes a difference for my sensitive eyes. I inherited my Grandfather’s glacier glasses when he passed away a few years ago. I haven’t been able to use them because they’ve had strong prescription lenses. On a whim I popped into Eyes on Fremont and they had the perfect new lenses in them in under 30 minutes for a super reasonable price. The service was next to none. I highly recommend Eyes on Fremont! The frames that I initially picked just did not work out for me - with every adjustment, something else would pop up that was bothersome. I finally gave up on those frames and the shop was happy to fit me with other frames and did not charge me any extra, even though the new frames were more expensive. Nate was patient and helpful, on every visit, and I will recommend this shop to friends. I just wish that I had discovered it earlier!

I've worn glasses for 20 years, but have always had a very difficult time picking out frames. Shopping for glasses has always been an unpleasant task. Eyes On Fremont made my experience so good! Incredible selection and THE best service! If you are like me and have a very narrow face, you know finding glasses is tough. This place makes it one stop shopping! So many cool frames. The staff is so very amazing at helping to select frames and I have loved all three pairs I have gotten over the years. This last time they also spent well over an hour helping adjust the frames to keep them off my eyelashes. Love this place and will always come back!

I have used Eyes on Fremont for my glasses for the last several years at the recommendation of my ophthalmologist. I’ve been a customer for quite a number of years. The quality of customer service is the best I’ve encountered anywhere. Owner Nate surely must pick his people carefully. He’s a nice guy who hires nice people. Everyone is so dang personable. Another thing is the speed of turn around, from submitting prescription and choosing frames to the pick up. It is surprisingly quick. My prescription is a bit convoluted, and that typically used to slow the completion process, taking up to two weeks—up until I started going to Eyes on Fremont. This last time I got new glasses, the turn around was probably just under a week. I was surprised. It’s as if they keep finding ways to get the job done quicker. I have nothing but good things to say about EOF. Edit: I was back there, just the other day. For some reason, one of the nose rest pads on my specs popped of and got lost. Another minor problem was that ear-hook cables were retrofitted to my glasses but the temples were still a touch too long to keep my glasses from sliding down my nose. Well, owner Nate took my glasses and took care of both for no charge. EOF guarantees all work and glasses they sell. Sweet!

Eyes on Fremont is my new favorite place for frames. The staff is friendly, cool, and knowledgeable but even more, they aren’t afraid to give opinions on the choices when I’m having a hard time picking between all their amazing, independently designed frames. I have a tough prescription for my lenses which was on back order and it took awhile for them to come in. They kept me posted and updated until they finally arrived. Prices are definitely comparable or less expensive than places like Lens Crafters with much more unique and exciting styles.

The selection of frames is delightful; lots of unique and quirky indie brands to satisfy my flamboyant side, as well as some more “business-friendly” options for the more demure days. The staff were really helpful with figuring out my style and making suggestions (like so good I got a second pair). The shop is taking infection precautions VERY seriously. All staff were wearing masks (properly, thank you!!). Staff limited the number of customers inside, and took great care to disinfect all frames that had been tried on. I really appreciated the option to go outside to try on frames sans mask to get a final view of what things look like ‘in the wild.’ Thanks for keeping us safe and making shopping for glasses a blast!

Staff is knowledgeable, truthful about how you look in their frames , and make you feel like you belong there. As a designer, I’m always looking for new style, materials, combination and shapes. I absolutely LOVED my experience with Eyes on Fremont. The team there is friendly; super knowledgeable; and incredibly passionate about what they do. This was my second purchase with EOF, and after my first experience, I knew that I'd return when I needed an update on my eyewear and prescription. Nate was awesome to work with. As he noticed me wondering from row to row, and shared that they have other styles not on the floor that he'd be happy to showcase. He took the time to educate me on the different sizes of frames, and how/why some wouldn't work for me. Nate's rockstar service and commitment to his profession helped me find three pairs, that compliment my features, and also allow me versatility for different wardrobes, and vibes. Additionally I was impressed with one of his teammate's (Jen, I think?!) that was also assisting another shopper. She had introduced him to various options, and when he said he had to think about them, and maybe come back, she was really gracious, understood, and told him to take all the time he needed, she'd be ready if/when he returned. I really respect the zero pressure approach in assisting guests with their purchases. 11/10 - I would recommend.

I've had some experiences with Eyes on Fremont during my appointments for getting new prescriptions and they had always been pleasant. I've always thought they have had great looking glasses but were definitely more pricer than I had expected. I ended up buying a pair of glasses online that I really liked but found that none of the pairs had fit my face well when they arrived. I was extremely disappointed and felt like I wasted money buying online since there was no way for me to get them adjusted. I ended up doing a search and found that Eyes on Fremont might be able to do some adjustments or add a piece so that I would still be able to wear my glasses. I've never gotten an adjustment for glasses from a place that I did not buy the glasses from so I really had no idea what to expect. When I arrived I met Tony (I believe that was their name, very tall and had a great beard) and they were able to talk with me about what I needed. We went outside for them to get a better idea of how the glasses were fitting my face and then took my two pairs back inside to do a few adjustments. Then they came back for me to try them on before going back to do a few other adjustments. When they came back out they asked me how I felt they fit and then looked to make sure that they seemed to fit well. Once I was happy with the fit I inquired about pricing as I really had no idea what I was doing. Tony told me that this was just a free service that they provided which I was honestly thrilled about. It really cemented the idea in my mind that this was an establishment who really cared about helping people with their eye glass needs and not wanted that care to be available to anyone even if they may not be able to afford it. I honestly love this place and have always had really positive experiences and really can't say enough about how helpful it was to have a very kind employee walk me through the process especially as a person who gets extremely anxious during new experiences. Thanks Tony and I really hope I remembered your name correctly!

My partner and I came here for the first time almost 2 years ago when we first discovered them. The staff is always so nice and helpful. They're always getting new designs in—which is AWESOME! We just came back this past week to buy some new frames and even with the safety mandates, it didn't stop them from giving great customer service. They have to sanitize every pair of frames anyone tries on and then dry them by hand so we felt *extremely* guilty about trying on what seemed like a dozen and a half pairs together. Chryste was very attentive and helpful and was rolling with our requests kindly. I really appreciated that, and I felt taken care of as a customer. I usually buy my glasses online, but made a point to buy my contacts through Eyes on Fremont after having such an excellent customer experience here. The staff is friendly and willing to work with whatever your situation is. I was even given some trial lenses to make sure that I could go scuba diving on my upcoming vacation when the lenses I ordered wouldn't arrive on time. Excellent customer experience and they are even willing to make new lenses for existing frames if you have a pair you are still in love with.

I can’t thank Jennifer enough for all her help! We traveled from NY to visit our family in Seattle and we always get our glasses when we come out. Due to Covid the store we use was closed. So my niece who was at one time was in the business did some searching around and came up with “Eyes on Fremont.” It was perfect we arrived and we were taken ASAP by Jennifer and she assembled all the frames that fit our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was sanitized and when I went back to get my glasses, it was being sanitized. Social distancing guidelines were met and if you wanted to step out of the shop with a mirror to see your frames without the mask on, they allowed that. All staff were masked. How fantastic is Eyes on Fremont? I walked in with a couple of challenging needs: I needed to get my glasses within a week because I was leaving for Canada, and I wanted frames that were both cool and inexpensive because I was paying out of pocket. The very first frames the gentleman helping us brought over were gorgeous and shockingly inexpensive. He encouraged me to try on more – but his taste was impeccable and he'd gotten it right on the first try. Then he told me they could get them back to me that day! I can’t speak highly enough of my experience at Eyes on Fremont thus far. It’s been so many years since I have been into their shop and for some reason I had painted them as “too expensive” for me (a la Market Optical and Colaizzo; too snooty) and I couldn’t have been further from the truth. The staff was welcoming, there was a nice range of prices for frames and an EXCELLENT ASSORTMENT OF STYLES. So, not only did I not feel like a cheapskate but I also found some super funky frames which I frickin’ LOVE that fit me like a glove; even with my hearing aids. I had been looking for some frames like this for years, literally. They also helped me with some slight repairs / adjustments to my other frames which have been giving me problems. Lastly, the employee that helped me was super chill, low pressure, showed me a ton of different styles that were appropriate for my style and what I was looking for but also a few that were a little outside the box just so I could get a feel for what was out there. He pulled inventory from “the back” and didn’t make me feel rushed or pressured - he was laid back, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Fantastic experience! I had heard about Eyes on Fremont and wanted to support an indie store instead of LensCrafters or similar. Chryste, my salesperson, was terrific. She worked with me to find glasses that fit my face, as well as my style preferences. The glasses that I ultimately decided on, Colibris, are designed especially for smaller face sizes. They are excellent - I’ve had so many compliments on them already. Plus, they were ready super fast. I was in the store on a Saturday and received a call on Tuesday letting me know they they were ready! So quick! These are progressive lens. I’ve had mixed results purchasing previous progressive lens over the years - never being fully happy with the quality and it always taking far too long for my eyes to get adjusted. The moment I tried on my new glasses, everything was crystal clear! I’ve never had that experience before with progressive lens! My eyes immediately adjusted and found the sweet spots. They carry an in-house brand that's under $100 for frames too which is very nice. Staff is very helpful as well! Only thing to watch out for is sharp corners on some metal frames. The shop is fairly small however is a tardis of sorts with innumerable frames to choose from even beyond what can be seen on display. I have been in the market for new glasses for a long time and wanted to go somewhere unique. When you go to the eye doctor, you always feel obligated to select something from their store because of the convenience and this time I wanted to try something different since I wear my glasses every day. I shopped around at a few other stores before coming to Eyes on Fremont. I checked them out online before I went, however I was completely blown away not only by their selection but their down to earth customer service. First of all, they have the coolest selection of glasses to choose from - glasses you won't find in the typical eyeglass stores. Secondly, Tony was a miracle worker. Here I had been trying glasses on all day to the point where I hardly recognized my own face in the mirror. I was feeling pretty defeated. Tony walked up to me and was immediately studying my face while I was poorly explaining what I was hoping to find in a pair of glasses. He let me look around a bit and watched me pick out a few different types of glasses to try on. After about 10 minutes, he arrived with a pair of glasses he pulled out from the back of the store. They were the ones I had been looking for! I instantly loved them. I was shocked! He measured my face and when I went to pick them up a week later I fell in love with them all over again. His measurements were so accurate the glasses didn't need any adjustment and were ready to wear. I am so thankful for his assistance and attention to detail. You may read other reviews about them being expensive but in my experience I walked out paying less than I have for a pair of prescription glasses with insurance. The level of service and knowledge from the staff at Eyes On Fremont is always impeccable and shopping there is such a fun experience. I used to go there exclusively for glasses and exams but then we moved to West Seattle so I tried out both a local shop and a large retailer and neither could hold a candle to EOF. I love that they have a wide selection of frames in every price range and even the less expensive options are excellent quality. In both of the other places the quality of the product was lacking and I didn’t find their selection as well curated. I also didn’t get the personal attention I’ve been spoiled with at EOF and the staff weren’t nearly as knowledgeable. In the future I wont’t waste my time anywhere else. These guys and gals really go out of their way to take good care of you and it’s always great to support a small local business that is doing things with integrity and style.

I always take my buisness here when in Seattle. I had a hard time finding a place that could see me with such short notice. THE PLACE my doctor sent me to didn't even understand the protection I require. After trying a few other places for appointments I was done with the fakie time slots, rudeness, and bigotry. I was at my ends on trying to connect referals for light sensitivity issues that hit the deep end. I just wanted to be street safe; unlike some I personally never want to harm others on purpose or by accident. Eyes on Fremont didn't ask me if I could even afford being seen (like the other place off james did.) Eyes on Fremont didn't neglect me they helped me fight evil. (They didn't use me as a "schedule hold" to appear like work is being done and people are being seen to continue funding. -Such a sick game.) Eyes on Fremont gave me back some dignity and restored me back to a way better shape than the deep end. I’ve been going to see Nate ‘n Co down at eyes on Fremont since before I really needed glasses - well- I had a slight reading prescription- but really I wanted to have some cool glasses that I could get excited about wearing and then promptly forget to wear and then quickly loose! Of course I wanted vintage cat eye frames that they brought out in boxes for me to peruse! This was probably back in 97 - Well...fast forward about 20+ years + a spouse and a kid later oh also a slew of pets and like clockwork my eyes have gotten worse. Now as the kid gets ready to graduate high school in June I am graduating from my under 40 eyes and the stylish glasses I didn’t really have to wear to my first pair of progressives. Okay- I admit it- I went online and got some el cheepo frames a couple times but they were never perfect so I crawled back with shame in my heart and of course they welcomed me back with open arms!! Thank goodness since for my first pair of progressives I was highly encouraged by my doctor not to be tempted to go to the ‘dotcom-who-should-not-be-named’. So progressives are tricky. I’m 1 week in- my frames are amazing! A Huge beautiful modern take on a cat-eye. Nate and the staff have been fantabulous walking me through learning how to adjust to them. I really appreciate the time they take. I had to go in this week and Nate was there to give me a great pep talk and I bounced outta there with more understanding about how progressives work and how my eyes will adjust and learn overtime. I mean really- they must have to walk so many middle age folks through these mini existential crises. And it really is existential when we are talking about how one see’s. Especially as a person who relies on my eyes for my work and being able to see detail- blurred vision strikes the fear of the upsidedown in me. I don’t really write reviews very often, but eyes on Fremont has been helping me to see more clearly for over 20 years and that is well worth the time to add a bit of positive insight to share about a local business with a mindful mission and an amazingly friendly, knowledgeable and cool staff.
