It has been my pleasure to have Dr. Bursett as my optometrist for many years. Two days ago, I called her because I was experiencing spider-web phenomena at the top of my visual field. I saw her immediately and she diagnosed me as having a vitreous detachment, which can be serious (it can be associated with a retinal tear). She set up an appointment for me with a retinal specialist for 8:00 a.m. the next morning. This doctor assured me that I am in no danger of a retinal tear and the floaters will diminish. But he complimented Dr. Bursett for her good call and getting me in to see him right away. I appreciate how Dr. Bursett does a thorough job with my regular eye care. It was nice to see her jump into action when something potentially more serious was happening. I feel well cared for. Dave White

Her colleague Andrea is a licensed optician and is very helpful with selection of eyewear, in addition to be a delight to work with and very responsive when I need to contact the office. I started taking my son to their office from an early age, and they were always as great with him as they are with me. I see Dr. Bursett even though she doesn't take my particular insurance - she's THAT good. Extra bonus: they're centrally located near downtown Seattle and there's free and easy parking. Had some funds left over in a FSA program so figured why not get my eyes checked. I’ve done this before when I worked down town and it was a complete waste of time. This time I figured I would book something convenient with easy parking. The experience couldn’t have been more different. Super professional, confirmed my suspicions that the readers I chose where to strong. Did all sorts of test that told me I wasn’t going to go blind anytime soon and sent me on my way to get some different readers. I should have bought them from the Bursett group but didn’t think about it until I left. I will definitely contribute more to my FSA to go back there in the years to come.

I really appreciate Dr. Bursett: she is very thorough in her exam and in her explanations on what she is doing and what she sees and finds. She is kind and personable and very prompt with her appointments. I feel like I am her only patient when I am there. Coming for an eye exam at Bursett Optometry was my first indoors visit with anyone outside of my household since the pandemic started in March 2020 and I was nervous. But I was put at ease with their welcoming manner and structured safety protocols (we both washed our hands, had on masks, and my temperature was taken before entering the exam room). The exam went great and Dr. Bursett explained everything about my changing vision in a direct and understandable way. Andrea the optician was the one who set up my appointment over email, and after the exam, she explained very clearly to me how much my new glasses would cost. Wonderful people, Dr. Bursett and Andrea. Excellent care at every step plus Andrea is the best glasses picker I know. Despite my insurance not covering this practice, I still choose to go here for my exam and help with selecting glasses. Also, I occasionally break mine and they fix them free of charge. They have taken extra precautions with covid with required masks, hand washing, and best distancing possible. I felt very comfortable coming care here and I can't say enough good things about this practice.

I have had GREAT eye care service at Bursett Optometry for many years. I'm blind in one eye so my ability to fully function is all dependent on my eye wear and eye health. Lisa's expertise provides both. Her scientific equipment and excellent medical training with experience have kept my life fully enjoyable. Last year I was accidentally tripped by someone standing next to me on the steps of a movie theater. I fell on my face on the cement stair edge and broke the bone under my good eye. The pair of glasses I was wearing saved my eye from destruction and my becoming completely blind. Lisa insists on light weight, unbreakable frames with perfectly tuned lenses for your vision. The frames in her office are great looking, provide safety and Andrea makes sure they fit your face perfectly. If you want your vision taken care of by the best go to Bursett Optometry.

My family (parents and siblings) and I have been seeing Dr. Bursett for at least 20 years. I'm not sure that I have much to add to the other glowing reviews, but I had to write and tell you that I trust my life/vision in her highly capable and incredibly compassionate hands. I still remember the first time I got glasses as a 5th grader and the first time I was fit for contacts in middle school. My entire world opened up when I could finally see! Both Dr. Bursett and Andrea are always so patient and helpful. In college, when Dr. Bursett noticed I had a tiny (luckily asymptomatic) retinal tear, she immediately sent me to an ophthalmologist who treated it without issue. I am so grateful for Dr. Bursett's comprehensive exams, and I would not think about going anywhere else. If you're reading this during the 2020 pandemic, I can confirm they are taking all the necessary precautions in the office to keep everyone safe. Please consider Dr. Bursett if you need a new provider! You will not be disappointed.
