I love that they have a machine that scans your eyes so you do not need your pupils dilated. Plus they are all so friendly and personable!

I happened to be in the Providence area and had to find an eyecare place quick because my toddler accidentally smashed into my face (not unusual) and made my extremely fragile and expensive French glasses sit at a 45° angle on my nose. I was devastated. I literally ran into modern eye and asked if anyone could fix my glasses and Annalise (sp.?) came over smiling, whisked away with my glasses and was back within 5 minutes with them nearly perfectly restored, and sent me on my way with no charge, still smiling!

I’ve been going to modern eyes for several years. They are competent and go above and beyond in service. They’ve provided sample contacts until my order comes in and recently I was leaving for a cruise and I miscalculated the amount of contacts I had left and they had a tech from Pawtucket deliver the samples to the East Providence office. Nowadays, customer service is something that is a forgotten piece. At modern eyes they go above and beyond their call of duty. They also, have a nice selection of eye wear!

I have been going to Dr. Corvese for over 25 years for glasses and contacts and later my husband and children joined me as his patients. We have never had a problem with our glasses or contacts - always the right prescription and comfort level. They have a very nice selection of eye glass frames. I have also gone to Dr. Corvese when I have had eye problems and he was always able to resolve the problem quickly. His staff have always been friendly and very helpful especially when I have had emergencies and needed to get replacement contacts or an appointment fast. I have recommended many people to him over the years and everyone has been satisfied.

I have been going there since i was 16. When you call and Explain whats going on they will see you immediately. If it is a Emergency and they are Closed the Doctor will Drop what he is doing to make sure you are ok. My situation just explaining it. Turned out to be a Ulcer in the Eye..... Love them all and GREAT staff.
