I brought my mom here for an urgent visit, she had a vitreous detachment. They got us in within an hour, we're super friendly, the doctor was extremely thorough and explained everything really well. Since she didn't require treatment, we made a follow up appointment. While we weren't there for glasses, my whole family plans on making appointments for regular eye care here, we've been meaning to switch. They had a really unique stock of glasses and sunglasses.

Excellent experience here. I called another well-known eye place in Providence repeatedly to get an appointment. No one even called me back. The super friendly person at College Hill Eye got me in next day. Prompt service, friendly staff, lovely surroundings and a terrific doctor who was honest, responsive and fun. Highly recommend.

I bought two pairs of cool sunglasses here, Maui Jim and Ray Ban. Cuz I’m a klutz I’ve broken the lenses on each pair (2x on Ray Bans). Last time w the Ray Bans there was a glitch in getting back to me on the replacement lenses. When I followed up they compted me the lenses!

They were simply the kindest. I am writing this review a bit late, so about 2 weeks ago I had a friend who came over from overseas, and her glasses broke - it was missing a small screw. They were very efficient and kind, and we were very satisfied with the experience. I definitely recommended this place to my friends and neighbors, and if you are looking for a good optics place in pvd, this is it! :)

From start to finish, a great, superlative experience. I called as a new patient with severe eye pain, and they saw me that morning. Very professional, polite, and efficient front-desk person. The doctor saw me promptly after I arrived, and after a thorough examination explained very clearly what had happened. Though I'm sure he sees this sort of thing all the time, he spent the time to explain what happened to my eye, how it got to that point, and what we could do about it. Too often, doctors are perfunctory and they forget that not everyone knows what they know! Since I needed to wear glasses instead of contacts for the week, the glasses specialist took a look at my glasses and within minutes made just the right adjustments so that I could wear my glasses comfortably! Very pleased and grateful!

It was very quick and easy to schedule my first appointment. Everybody had masks on and they sanitized the exam rooms between patients. I went in because I was seeing odd lights in my vision, so I really appreciated how thorough they were with checking my eye health. I feel good knowing I can come here if I ever have problems with my vision.

My daughter and I needed eye exams, new glasses, and contact lenses after our family moved to Providence. We contacted College Hill Eye, and quickly got appointments. From that point on, the entire staff, particularly Nikolas, was extremely kind, professional and prompt to meet our appointment needs. Sorry our visits will likely only be on an annual basis.

College Hill Eye & Optical provided an excellent experience, as well as excellent information! The last few times I have gone to an optometrist (over the last few years) I have told the doctor that I feel as though my eye sight has been getting worse and I have been shrugged off every time. Working with Dr. Isik was an amazing experience. He took the time to allow me to ask all of my questions, helped me look into my colorblindness, and validated my concern! I got a new prescription and have had it for a few weeks now and am LOVING it! Headaches are down and I am so glad I was referred to College Hill Eye & Optical!!

I’d have to say my appointment to update my contact lenses was super complete and went way above my previous optometrist. Discovering a slight abnormality in my left eye, they Were able to fit me with a contact lens which was more tailored to my situation which made all the difference in the world. They took the extra time to make sure they got it right. My first appointment was a 110% success, Thanks for going the extra mile, also super polite.

This was my 1st time coming here an it was a great experience. My 1st eye exam was so very nice an Dr Tina Parker an her staff was so sweet an so very nice an they went over everything an made my exam very nice. The place is so clean an the wait room is very nice with soft chairs an coffee an things too. The exam room is nice too with a big soft exam chair an all of the eye things too. It is a very nice place an exam an can not wait to come back for my next exam too 😊

The best eye doctor I have seen! I have one eye far sighted and one eye short sighted with stigma. I tried with other doctors and never got a clear and comfortable vision. Dr. Parker is so thorough and knowledgable. I am forever indebted to her to give me such clear vision. She is so patient and nice! A true gem to Providence. Love her!

I started with Dr. Karambulas at College Hill Eye several years ago. With very complicated eye issues his expertise in scleral lenses resulted in me attaining the best vision I’ve ever had in my life. When Dr. Karambulas passed I was devastated both by the tragedy of his death as well as by the loss of the one person who provided me with excellent vision. Since the passing of Dr. Karambulas I’ve been searching for a doctor with similar expertise with scleral lenses. College Hill delivered with Dr. Isik (or Dr. Joey as I call him). Dr. Joey brings both brilliance and personality to College Hill Eye. He genuinely cares about my vision problems, and engages in detailed conversations trying to figure out how to make my vision even better. Today I left Dr. Joey’s office with 20/15 vision. 60 years old and I see better than at any time in my life. Dr. Joey made numerous tweaks to my contact lens prescription not happy to stop until he maximized my vision potential. Dr. Karambulas would be very proud of Dr. Joey! I would be remiss to not comment on the staff at College Hill Eye. They are professional and friendly. They keep me on track reminding me of my appointments as I am prone to forget. Dr. Joey is amazing, and his staff are part of the equation for sure. I cannot recommend College Hill Eye more enthusiastically.
