Both myself & my Wife came here needing frames & lenses. We were walk-ins, just shopping without much expectation as prior experience shopping for glasses is like walking into a paint store and facing 1000 swatches. However we both found frames we liked within 20 minutes, then we met Lily and the rest is done. Lily was knowledgeable and friendly and took her time with us to ensure we knew what we wanted and needed. We got our glasses within a week which was quicker than expected. We've gone back a couple times only for minor adjustments & were taken good care of. Thanks Lily!

I don’t typically leave reviews but Lily at the Washington Square location was so helpful I couldn’t let it go unnoticed. She helped me find the right style and size of glasses for my face shape and I’m in love with them! She was kind and patient throughout the whole visit even though I was taking a while to pick a frame. She made sure to inform me of all my options, most of which I had no idea you could do! I highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

I came in and got my glasses a few months ago, I originally went in because I was referred to Lily from a friend after hearing that she provided great service, but Lily was busy when I went in and I got to meet karrigan, who I experienced great service from! Both her and Lily, when she could, helped me find the perfect glasses. Today I had to come in to get my glasses fixed as I bent them, and Lily helped me get them fixed in no time even though she was the only employee in the store and helping multiple other people. Will be back next year.

Fantastic service! Sydney, the technician, was very kind and did a wonderful job getting me ready for Dr. Choquette. Dr. Choquette is a great optometrist and was thorough and patient in his explanations. Lastly, Kayla did a phenomenal job helping me pick out my frames. She went above and beyond in helping me calculate the different price options available and weighing my options. I'm very happy with the service I received and can't thank everyone enough for their consideration and kindness.

I brought my daughter in for her first ever eye exam. She was kind of nervous and didn’t know what to expect. Everyone here was so sweet and kind. They went above and beyond with my daughter to explain and educate her on what they were going to do as well as how your eyes work etc. we will definitely be back to this place in the future 👍🏻

Let me start with, I have always had an amazing experience here over the years. I have referred plenty of my friends and family to come here as well because of how much I loved the service. However today I had Lily as my help for buying my glasses. I had some really fun stylish frames picked out, I already tried them on I just had to pick between them. When I put in a pair I really loved she blurted out “ unlike the color but that shape doesn’t look good on your face.” And then continued to offer her opinions without even letting me have my own opinion. Sure I’m some cases people want that kind of feedback but I no longer get comfortable about buying the pair of frames I really loved. Maybe someone can pass it on that she can tone done her opinions and let the customer be themselves.

Went for some new pair of glasses and received exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. The staff was very energetic, uplifting, and attentive to my needs and answered my questions without hesitation or appearance of discomfort. (Huge). Finally there was some hiccups here and there with my glasses, but it all worked out in the end. Fine establishment and will be continuing to be a customer in the future! Great place!

Honestly I've visited vision works over a 2 years ago and my experience then wasn't that great. But fast forward to 2022 and what a turn around! Following Covid protocols and very clean store! The employees have fun with you! And make the experience quick and easy! Lily the wonderful employee to help me pick my frames. She actually offered to help me pick them out as I also shop around to pick them out. I've never had that and it was amazing because we get to see ourselves to a point as they don't have my prescription in them so it's all blurry and just having someone else help and see me was just amazing! As I picked one pair I turn and she had picked like 15 so that was sooooo helpful!! She even got me out of my comfort zone an got me into different frames! Took me outside to take my mask off to see what I look like fully. I'm so excited!! Seriously give them another chance!! :)

2 year update visit!! Karrigan IS ABSOLUTEKY AMAZING!! They made me branch out and provided me with a beautiful experience!!! Hands down best advice I got and SHE KNOWS WHAT DHE IS DOING YALL! Was needing to get my teenage son's glasses adjusted and stopped by on a whim. They were very helpful and I believe it was Tanya (sorry if I got her name wrong!) who helped us. She took her time and was very diligent in finding just the right screws and everything that was needed to deal with my sons glasses who let's just say isn't easy on them!! It took a good half hour but she did it! Now his glasses are fitting good again! I got them originally from here and definitely will continue to come back. :)

My husband tried progressive lenses from Costco and one other place, trying to save money, but they just didn't work for him and ended up returning them. His Visionworks lenses are far superior and it's the only place he'll go for his lenses now. The manager and all the staff are knowledgable, kind, and patient. I came to Visionworks to have an eye exam and pick out glasses and it was an exceptional experience. What made it great, beyond the fantastic were the kindness and helpfulness of the staff; from the moment I checked in everyone was lovely. The doctor's assistant was so very nice; checked me in and performed the initial tests. Leah helped me pick out my frames and went over and beyond the call of service to help me. She has a vivacious personality and I genuinely had a good time working with her. She's also super sharp and helped me select glasses that made the most sense for my budget. She even stayed after closing hours for me and was so patient and cheerful. Looking forward to having this be my new optometry show.

Visionworks is by far the best place I’ve ever gone for glasses, but this location goes above and beyond what it means to take care of your patients/customers. All of the staff that I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with have been nothing but friendly and professional, I cannot sing their praises enough! Walking in, I had no idea how I was going to get this particular issue solved but Leah was all over it, was able to find a solution that worked for me (and my wallet), and was professional while still being so personable! My wife and I February 17th of this year each purchased glasses from Visionworks. Leah spent time with both of us patiently and professionally answering all our questions to ensure we were pleased with our purchase. Likewise the eye doctor was excellent. I also had a pair of reading glasses where the screws were always coming loose and the lenses would fall out on the ground. Anita took the time to fix the problem at no cost. Just got home from Visionworks and once again they did not disappoint. I have gotten about 5 pairs of glasses there now. I have never had a bad experience, but today I talked to Naveed. He went above and beyond with all his help and knowledge. He walked me through my new insurance. He gave me options and explained everything. On February 3rd, while out, the nose piece on my glasses broke off. As I need glasses to see, I am legally blind so they are very important to me, I did not know what to do. I went into Vision Works hoping that I could get them replaced - somehow, bit trying to prepare myself to possibly have to buy a new pair of glasses. Leah was amazing. She took a look at my glasses, and even though they were old and not bought there, she helped me out by replacing both of my nose pieces for me. She even went the extra mile in my estimation by adjusting the nose pieces so that they sat very comfortably and I was not constantly adjusting my glasses. I will go back here when I need to get a new pair of glasses. They were friendly and helpful and did not judge me for and old pair of glasses. Thank you! <3

After arriving in Oregon, I finished the process at their Washington Square Too location and got excellent service from Leah. Being a first time glasses wearer, I appreciated her knowledge on helping me figure out which lens type and features to get and her input on which frames looked best. After helping me making all my lens type selections and frame decisions, Leah promptly completed my order and now I just need for the glasses to arrive.

Incredible experience. Sydney was extremely helpful and kind when I came in with my toddler and husband. Sydney was so patient as I took my time picking out the perfect frame, decided on additional features to the lenses, and explained everything and answered my questions. They even put in a special rush request for me as I was leaving town in a few days and needed my new Rx before leaving. When I picked up my glasses, Naveed was also so kind and made sure the fit and Rx was perfect, and let me know I can continue to come back for maintaining the fit as needed. I have worn glasses since childhood and am heavily near-sighted with significant astigmatism. For me, even with the best lenses available, the end result was often something akin to wearing goggles. When I visited the Visionworks at Washington Square Too in Tigard, I had two requirements: lightweight frames and the thinnest lens profile possible. Anita reviewed frame options with me and discussed how the frame profile would impact lens thickness in addition to how my eye was centered in the frame. Anita helped me pick out two frame options and I ultimately opted to get a set of transitions for driving and outside wearing in addition to a pair specifically for my extensive computer use that filters blue light. Anita took very careful measurements twice and I then held my breath. Just over a week later the glasses came in and I stopped by before closing… The glasses are the lightest, thinnest, and most comfortable I have EVER had. Multiple people in the store kept commenting that they’d never seen something as thin as my new lenses on a prescription of my strength. Anita was knowledgeable, friendly, listened to my requirements, my budget, and was able to meet or exceed my expectations. I was so happy that there were outbursts and comments in the store from me that were well -- too enthusiastic to be repeated at work. If you have a prescription like mine you know it’s going to cost, all you can hope for is that you get someone like Anita and the staff at the Washington Square Too Visionworks; I would highly recommend them. All the staff that have helped me there have been phenomenal. However, if you do go see Anita -- tell her Jon sent ya! :)

Very nice place, large selection and great price. My 93 year old Mom needed an eye exam and glasses, both were done with extreme care and patience. Lea was extremely helpful and well trained in helping us pick the right frames. She told us about smart screen and suggested one of pair to be smart screen for computer/reading and the other to be bifocal, to cover both long range and close range. Her product knowledge was much appreciated. We saved over $500. During their sale and still paid under $300. For two sets of glasses.

Went into look for glasses, and in the rush of getting there, I forgot my prescription and my insurance card (duh) so even though I wouldn’t be purchasing anything that day Leah spent a lot of time with me helping me with frames and even Sleuthed her computer to find my insurance information anyway since I purchased there before. She was helpful, present and available without being overbearing, knowledgeable, and kind. Appreciate not being pressured to buy. And in this case I may not end up buying my glasses here because of the special medical concerns this time around. I ended up ordering three pairs of glasses and Andrew stayed ½ an hour past closing to help me. My wife and I both had our exams at the OptimEyes optometrist office inside. Both the associate and our Optometrist Jade Himmelsbach helped us run intertwined yet thorough exams. They also both had great humorous personalities that made the experience less of a chore, and were very professional. Once done with exams we looked at frames in the VisionWorks storefront and were helped by Anita. There was a broad range of options and quality frames to choose from, and Anita was very sweet and helpful making sure we knew what options were available to us, and actually ended up choosing the frames my wife liked the most. I always advise to look past a base rating unless it's 2 stars or less in our current age of review happy consumers. Old reviews about sour employees should be removed after a year, because life and business changes. We had great service, and I hope you get to experience this crew as we did today!

We took our son in last year for an exam and a pair of new glasses. He found a pair of frames that he liked but they only had the display ones in stock. We left with the display frames so he could wear his new prescription glasses for school. The manager was ordering a new frame and we were supposed to come in and pick them up. Well, as busy parents we never went back in. Today, a year later I went in and at first was told they could not help me because it had been a year and they could not return the year old used frames to the manufacturer. I asked if they could repair the loose and bent frames. The General Manager stepped up and said he would just go ahead and replace them with the new frame he had in stock. He said, “ I have kids too.” He DID THE RIGHT THING!!! Thank you sir! My son walked out and immediately said, “Wow they actually stay on my face.” I appreciate great customer service, which is rare these days.
