This place is amazing!! The staff is so helpful and very kind! They helped me get my vision test in a timely manner and offered different options for pricing on lenses and framing! I can not put more emphasis on how kind the staff are, they are lovely! I brought my family with me and they were so accommodating to all of us! Very easy to get tests in Spanish and even though we were late to our appointment, they were able to get us in anyways! Will be returning!

Every staff member I interacted with was super friendly, very nice, and made what I was assuming going to be a very awkward trip trying on glasses during Covid much better than expected. The exam was quick, the telemed doc was a really neat experience, and the price was great. Jennifer ended up helping me with a pair of glasses and was not pushy but very informative on cost and options. I ended up right within my budget and very happy with my choice. Just like the last time I came here, always a great experience here, extremely professional, they let you choose the kind of glasses and contacts you want and don't try to push the most expensive most costly versions of them but are extremely knowledgeable and helpful for any questions about any of them that you have. Got my prescription with no issues and is still, hands down, the best prescription and experience I have ever had getting contacts and eye glasses prescriptions and products. Would 100% recommend them to anyone and will be coming back every time in the future to this location when I need any prescriptions or products.

The exam portion was so easy thanks to Sean. He is friendly and easy to talk to as well as very professional. He explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable. Then I was assisted by Beth, who helped me pick out the frames that I wanted. She was genuine and kind, and I trusted her opinion. She did not try to upsale me into something I didn't want, so I got a few extra updates on the inexpensive frames I did choose. I got 1 regular glasses, 1 glasses was my own sun glasses and they made it prescription sun glasses with my favorite frame, also I got 1 more glasses that protects from UV, it’s super comfy and feels super light and comfortable on my eyes. They are truly amazing! -They have excellent customer service. Jennifer worked so hard to make sure I got the package I saw online, even though they hadn't notified the store. I left with an even better deal. -They really thought out their patients comfort, even while adhering to Covid regulations. The final exam with the Optometrist is in a sanitized room where everything is automated. You can even remove your mask for an accurate reading because the Optometrist is working remote and is on a large screen. -Speaking of comfort, you don't have your eyes dilated! They have a machine that flashes a bright light and takes the picture instead. I have migraines and I didn't think the light was that bad... especially compared to the alternative. This is a long review, but they deserve it. This is the only place to go.

After reading the reviews we were a little leery about going to Stanton Optical, but liked their prices and the location was convenient, so we made an appointment for eye exams for myself and my husband. We were very surprised at the level of professionalism and the technology they used. They still do all the standard eye health testing, but without having to dilate your eyes, which is a huge plus! The vision testing is done remotely with a live technician on a screen. The Covid protocols made it a very safe experience. They were also very gracious about letting my husband use his own frames. Although I didn’t choose their 2 for 59 frames, I was very pleased with the price I paid. Due to Covid they are not making lenses in house right now, so it will be a few weeks for delivery. I may update this review after we receive the glasses. The only negative experience we had was setting of the appointment with the call center. Because of severe background noise on their end, it was difficult to communicate. Vince gave us their direct number, so we can call them directly in the future. Both Vince and Matt (I think Matt was the name of the tech who proctored our eye exam) were very professional and knowledgeable.

I’ve been to 3 different locations in 2 states and every time I come in the staff are welcoming and exceptionally helpful whether you’re getting an eye exam or trying to find specific phrase types or both. The prices are more than fair and they usually have good deals going on. They tint lenses too.

Highly recommend! I was on a time crunch and let them know I needed to be in & out in 30 min for the appt. They were super accommodating AND my glasses were done in a few hours. They even helped adjust some sunglasses I had that were a little loose! Excellent service, very fast, everyone was very friendly and very flexible. I had my own frames and was expecting to be charged quite a bit more for that, but it was very reasonable. Thank you! I'll be back for sure!

3-7-2019 Most amazing service from Shannon (Hartley) Wilson. She was perfect with verbal communication and helping me understand what I was getting. Friendly, professional, and was willing to go above and beyond typical service standards for her clients/customers. She went one step above and took my lenses and inspected them manually. After inspecting the frames and lenses, Shannon (Hartley) Wilson informed me that my prescription lenses were not correct. Also that they were not anti-reflective and she would look into getting it fix right away. I am impressed with her knowledge and expertise in her many years in this field. I have been to Staton Optical, twice since I purchased two pairs of glasses. In early January of 2019. Each visit was for minor repairs on what I would consider fairly inexpensive glasses. I have to say Sunny the store manager has shown a willingness to help me and a kindness. I have not seen in sometime with such consistency. I know it is genuine. She is kind, funny, playful, professional, and really does care about other people in a positive and connective way. Overall the process of getting eye glasses was painless and there bogo eye glasses deal is a really good price point. The amount of available styles at the location is very large. Over all the staff was nice and accommodating when issues arose. My biggest concern was that shipping for one of my pairs of glasses took almost double the expected amount of time.

Had an awesome experience today! So thankful I cancelled my appointment with Macy’s (due to their ratings) and made an appointment here (due to better ratings) :) Came here for an eye exam and glasses for a friend, and two of the ladies that assisted us, one of them I don’t remember her name, but Anastasia was the other- and oh my gosh- were they just so amazing from start to finish. My friends left vision had been blurry for awhile, and she never made it in to one of these places, but I decided to trust the ratings on this- and so glad I did. My friend walked out with two new pairs of glasses and of course a better vision for the right price!!!! Priceless to see the smile on her face and the expression she gave when she could see better! :) The staff here are so honest, friendly, and helpful. Sunday morning got the call from a robot." Your order is ready for pick up." What you have got to be kidding. Right!? My daughter needs to go camp the next Sunday, but her glass frame was broken. Her current pair glass was purchased from a studio at pearl district a little more than a year ago, cost us more than $350 plus our VSP insurance, but its frame was broken once during the warranty and now it is broken again. So we decided to try out a different shop. When we saw Stanton's google ads, we decided take a look. The shop is brand new, next to Washington square, the location is very convenient. The parking lot is big. After entering the store, I was very impressed with the large collection of the frames. Lottie helped us. She is extremely nice, very knowledgable, and patient. She helped us compare the options to make purchase with insurance or just out of the pocket. We end up decide to just pay out of the pocket. Even more impressive, the gentlemen in the lab immediately cut the lens and put on the glasses. Within 20 mins, we have two pairs of glasses ready with the price lower than the one pair we paid one year before. My daughter is supper happy. I would definitely go back to the store again.

A very different concept, having a remote doctor providing the exam. What I particularly appreciated is that after the prescription was delivered to me (just took a short amount of time after the exam), the local staff "built" me a trial pair of glasses from my prescription thus I could see how it would really feel. My previous experience was to come back to get my glasses then have to send them back or just put up with them. At Stanton I made the corrections right there and when they came in, no surprises. I dropped my glasses this morning and the left lens popped out. I was able to put it back but it fell out again whenever I tipped my head down or touched the glasses. Sears Optical (where I got my glasses) is closed, so I came to Stanton to see if they could help. It took several minutes because the little screw was defective and hard to remove, but Sean and the young lady (sorry, didn't get her name) got it done - at no charge. When I need new glasses, I'll be sure to come here!

I have never written a review before, but my experience with Stanton Optical on SW Scholls Ferry was so outstanding that I felt I had to repay their help in the only way I can by writing this review. My glasses broke during the 2018 Labor Day weekend and I had a road trip planned for the following Wednesday in which I would be doing all the driving. That meant I only had Tuesday to fix the situation. I went to Stanton Optical and everyone there was so professional and nice. Matthew & Anastasia devised a plan to help me which worked out great. It is because of the two of them that the road trip was saved. I cannot thank them enough!

I normally don't butt into peoples business but i feel this needs to be told. I was in the tigard store this past Saturday morning. I watched the manager Ron deal with a very horrible customer. This woman who just wasn't getting her way even threatened to have this man fired who was doing his best to be nice to her and help her. (Later found out he's a single dad) I was disgusted by her behavior and really wished my grandkids didnt have to hear her go off as she did. She went so far as to tell everyone in the store to leave and that they were crooks. After she left Ron apologized and continued to smile and help my daughter like nothing happened. The team of people they have in there are truly exceptional! He literally fixed her problem she had been dealing with from the previous management that we felt just gave us the run around. TLDR: My glasses broke and I got awesome new ones for way less than I was expecting. So this (photo) happened the other day 😭 I guess it was bound to happen eventually, they were almost 3 years old and the lenses were scratched all to hell. Thankfully, I've got some new ones on the way! I don't usually do this, but huge shout out / shameless plug for Stanton Optical. This is my first time ever getting glasses without vision insurance, and they gave me one helluva deal. A total of $150 for: An eye exam (shout out to their doctor Dr. Tony Gendvilas O.D., who was the most thorough, professional, and friendly eye doctor I've ever had), two pairs of glasses; one standard pair with the highest end transitions coating that even works inside a car, and 2nd pair of prescription polarized sunglasses; both with an anti-scratch UV coating with a 2 year replacement plan, and an anti glare coating. That is less for two pairs of awesome glasses without insurance than I paid individually for each of my last two pairs of glasses with insurance! I am one happy consumer right now, and that doesn't happen often these days. If you need new glasses, stop in and say hi to Anastasia, the general manager, she'll take great care of you. They are a brand new store, and were super slow, so go visit them! FYI, part of the deal I got was from a Groupon so shout out to them too I guess 😂
