I have been going to Moreland Vision Source for over 15 years since we moved to the neighborhood. The doctors are incredibly professional, the support staff is friendly and knowledgable, and I've always had good service here. They referred me to an ophthalmologist in 2019 for cataract surgery, and did the follow up sessions. I no longer need contact lenses! I am now corrected to 20/20 for driving and other distance needs. I trust Dr. Scott and Dr. Derstine completely.

It was a pleasant visit to have my eyes examined. It was easy to make the appointment and it was only a couple weeks out. The service was friendly and professional. The optometrist, Dr. Derstine, was professional, friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed. They asked me to show up 15 minutes early to an appointment that was to start shortly after they opened. My appointment started 10 minutes late and I got to hear all about their staff meeting that was happening as I sat and waited. That was not appreciated to sit there for 20 minutes. The eye exam was well done and the service was good, but I didn’t understand why I was invited to show up early when it wasn’t necessary. The selection of glasses is great.

As a new patient, I was so impressed by Moreland Vision Source! Staff was super friendly on the phone when booking my appointment, and in person on the day of my visit. I really appreciated the COVID-19 safety measures, such as limiting the number of people inside and asking patients to call when they arrive to be let inside. I could browse and try on frames as I waited, with clear guidelines to ensure each pair would be sanitized after (as they had been before my arrival). My appointment itself was also top notch. Dr. Derstine thoughtfully explained every part of the process and his findings from my exam, and I walked away feeling more informed than ever. I’m so glad to have found Moreland Vision Source!

I have to go every year for a diabetic eye exam. They are so nice and take their time with me.i hate having my eyes dilated but they are patient with me. I like that for $25ore they take pictures of changes in my eyes to compare from one year to the next. Highly recommend!

I’ve worn glasses/contacts since I was in 3rd grade, and not all exams are equal but there is a reason I’ve continued to see Dr. Scott at Moreland Vision Source. The exams are very thorough, he explains everything clearly and in a way you understand. He also doesn’t try to up sell you and the rest of the staff are just as great.

Moreland Vision Source is the best. Dr Scott is always thorough in his exams and he has a loyal, knowledgeable and friendly staff. I love the fashion-forward and quality selection of eye wear. It's hard to find old-fashioned customer service, but you will find it here. I have been a client for many years. UPDATE; 5/28/19 _ Not the same anymore. Very disappointed in this Optometrist. Dr. Scott is still thorough, but no follow through with customer service. Most of the staff is new. Prices are very high on the eyewear as well. Very disappointed. 7/24/20 - I gave it one more try. Customer service was non-existent. New staff and clueless. Sad.

It was the most thorough eye exam I had ever experienced and I have had to wear corrective lenses since I was in the 3rd grade. I walked out with my new contacts feeling like a had a new set of eyes! Not only was my Optometrist an absolute expert genius, but the STAFF was cheerful, very upbeat,and friendly. The place is VERY covid conscious, ...extra protocalls are in place throughout the entire place far a safe, clean environment. Air filtration in every room, N95 masks are worn, not cloth, sterilization of equipment between patients, and sterilization of each pair of glasses after customers try them on. The advice I got from the expert tech (truly remarkable) and the doctor (super efficient) was so helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Moreland Vision !!! Very very IMPRESSED!!!! THANKS TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE THERE for making it a wonderful experience!!!!

Not only is the patient experience stellar from the moment you call for an appointment or walk in the door, but follow-up and orders received via mail are super quick and effortless on my part. I have already received more records in-hand after two interactions (without asking!) than years at other offices, when I would try to track down copies of my prescriptions, etc. I just moved from Moreland and am now almost an hour from this office, but will continue as a patient. I had a great experience today at MLS! I was greeted upon arrival and was quickly checked in. The technician did my initial set of tests, after which I was seen by Dr. Derstine who performed additional tests. He was very personable and genuinely seemed to care about my vision, asking about my work and how I used glasses in order to help me make a better informed decision about what type of glasses I needed. He also answered all of my questions and seemed happy to do so.
