Everyone was properly masked and gloved, sanitation stations were highly visible and accessible for all to use. You could sense that everyone’s safety was properly addressed during these difficult times. Both the staff and the doctor’s were very friendly and professional. All of my questions were quickly answered in a well informed manner. The technician and doctor I had seen were not only efficient but they took their time so I didn’t feel like I was in a fast food carry out restaurant.

She spent a lot of time helping me pick out a frame and then helped me in ordering them and sending a previous set of MK frames I had from them for my new prescription. I moved from Tempe 4 years ago to STV and my husband and I still drive out to this location instead of another one because of the staff here. (I do wish y'all still had MK line there though...just saying...)

They ruin the entire visit for me. Now that I know and understand this, I’ll avoid interacting with them but continue to see Dr Roper.

Southwest eye center did both my cataract surgeries in 2011. This week my optometrist Dr. lo Sananakone found a detached retina and cal Southwest eye center and was able to get me in for an emergency surgery. Everyone at Southwest was fantastic from the beginning to the end of my surgery. Thank you for the great care!

I called in to get my prescription sent to me. The first time I spoke with Karen who didn’t seem very friendly and was advised that I need a release of information form filled out. Interesting since she never confirmed any of my info after I had only given her my name. I asked if it could be sent by email and she said no. It has to be faxed. So I called back after finding a fax number and got Jennifer who did verify my date of birth. I gave her my fax number but never received anything. That was yesterday. Today I called back and got Kim. She was super friendly and I offered her a new fax number because I need to get a pair of glasses albeit temporary because the ones I have are broken. I asked Kim if she could just email me the form to fill out and if I could email it back and she said “of course”. Within minutes I had the form. So thanks to Kim she redeemed the first two experiences I had. She’s a great asset to your team. It just seems strange to have to fill out the release form to get my prescription sent to myself. Otherwise I like southwestern eye center.

I had a great positive experience here. I had cataract surgery with Dr Pfister and he did a great job. Surgery was so painless and recovery was great. The whole staff is friendly and very caring. Everyone made my experience so positive and I definitely will be coming here for my vision needs if I need glasses or anything. Dr Roper, Dr. Pfister and everyone else I encountered were just the best. Reason why I gave 3 stars is they ran my insurance and quoted me the amount to pay for the surgery and said this is what we're collecting from you and you're all set. A month later I get hit with a $500 and I was told by billing it was only an estimate not a quote what I paid. How is this good customer service by misleading us like this. I paid it because I don't want to be taken to collections but I don't think I'll be using them after all for anything else if this is how their billing works. Its sad that this one negative thing can take away from all the positives I encountered with the staff. Shame on you sw eye center.

Check in at Southwestern Eye Center was efficient and safe. My temperature was checked, I was given a disposable mask (even though I was wearing one), and paperwork was easy. I was seen on (or slightly before) my appointment time. Everyone was kind, considerate, and respectful. All my questions were answered and I left with no concerns.

I had a very good experience with Southwestern. From the gals that greet you when you walk in the door to the doctors and the technicians. Everybody was super friendly, willing to explain, and always there to answer questions. I walked out the door knowing exactly my options and costs. My only complaint is I didn't go to them first. My mom's eyes had mismatched intra- ocular pressure and we were so concerned. I told them that my mom felt like her eyes were being pushed out of her head. Southwestern Eye got us in the very next day. We were very impressed, and Dr. Roper was very helpful and kind to my mom.

I was in Phoenix for vacation over Easter weekend and had a corneal abrasion. I was in so much pain, and was turned down by an office several miles away, because they were not taking new patients. Southwestern eye center was very busy, but they were able to fit me in. The staff was so nice and polite. Dr. Roper was so helpful, and was able to diagnose, and fix the situation. I cannot thank him and Southwestern eye center enough. Also, as I was in the waiting room I heard patients talking. A woman was getting cataract surgery and a gentleman next to her explained that he had it performed at Southwestern eye center, and could not be happier. He told the woman she was in good hands and not to worry.
