I have been coming here for almost 5 years ! I used to live in the area, the first time I visited was with Dr Dominguez and I felt so comfortable! Not only is he friendly but I also felt welcomed. I referred a friend of mine and now her whole family goes here ! Years later he expanded his office and hired more staff. I love it here! I’ve moved across town and have gone to other eye doctors but it just wasn’t the same. His prices are also the best than other big known companies! There is now another doctor and he is also so kind and informative! I now make the hour drive just to continue to receive the best service :)

Very friendly staff, the office and exam rooms were clean & the lighting made it cozy. The doctor was super kind. The young lady helping me with pricing and picking out the frames was so sweet. Pricing was reasonable. I go back to do a trial run on contacts, something I’ve never had before. The office let me know all of what to expect & were helpful with all of my questions.

Honestly the first time I went I had made the mistake of coming a whole week earlier then my actual appointment. Although, I sat with my family for a good 20 minutes just to realize that.. struck me strange that the girl at the front desk didn’t ask further questions knowing the Dr wasn’t in. This was my third eye exam at Moon Valley Eyecare. The exams are very thorough and I appreciate the time Dr. Dominguez took to explain the change in my eyes, which helped me feel at ease. I have really bad eyes & Dr. Bromley said he could submit my contacts as medically necessary so insurance would cover them. No other Dr. has ever done this for me! I had my first visit with Dr. Dominguez a few weeks ago. He has a great little practice with a lot of great options for glasses, sun glasses, and contacts. I enjoyed my interaction with him and trusted what he was telling me about my eye health. The reason for the deduction of 2 stars had to do with my experience with the rest of his staff. The younger girls working in front were very chatty with one another and did not pay attention to my needs as a customer. While I can appreciate the freedom to select what I want as far as frames, its nice to have someone their with professional guidance and an opinion based on what I am looking for. When selecting glasses, the girl I was working with I felt did not know what she was doing and it seemed that she was more concerned about getting back to her conversation with the rest of the staff. The one woman who was very helpful seemed older and more mature, and helped me with the rest of my appointment. My suggestion for the future would be to have the staff fully focus on the customer's they are helping rather than day to day gossip in/outside of the office. I will likely return as Dr. Dominguez's office is down the street from my home, but hope that in the future the interaction with his staff will be different.

I'm a bit picky about doctors...but Dr. Dominguez and his staff are some of the best I've had the pleasure to be treated by. The office is clean and inviting, the staff professional and efficient. They never suggest unnecessary products or treatments, and carefully lay out any costs both covered and not covered by my insurance. The visits always go smoothly, and he found a solution to my dry itchy eyes when no one else had. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Reception staff, technician, and Dr. Dominguez were all great! I will definitely return when I need more eye care or annual exam. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because on the day of my appointment I arrived at about 3:35pm for a 3:40pm appointment, filled out all the paper work but it wasn't until about 4:30pm until the technician took me to the back for some questions and initial tests and closer to 5pm until I saw the Dr. Just seemed a bit busier than they could handle at that time. I do understand things beyond their control and emergencies happen so given that the rest of my experience was great, I'll still be returning.

It was a great experience. I was referred here for my yearly eye exam by the Phoenix VA due to the clinic in the hospital being booked for months. Scheduling was super easy. Dr. Dominguez and his staff were very friendly and professional. The appointment was quick and thorough, and before Dr. Dominguez was finished he thanked me for my service and that he appreciated me coming in. He also said if I had any needs to just call. They were very helpful with adjusting my current glasses and explained how to get new glasses from the VA for free. I google and called a few eye care places I was originally looking for a a place with Spanish speaking employees . I found moon valle eye care with dr Jesse Dominguez from my first appointment I felt cared for and beyond satisfied with my visit. He and all his staff are super nice and caring specially Luz she’s my favorite!! I am a very difficult person I had many issues with trying to find contacts that worked , dr Jesse never gave up on me in fact I gave up first in myself. I am also very picky when it comes to choosing glasses it took me a second visit to decided on my new glasses ...Luz was very patient with me. I just love this place I will never go anywhere else , Super happy I finally found the perfect place for the best eye care that I can trust and feel like they’re family that care for your eye health and not just your business and money .

Great place to get your eyes checked. They are very friendly and have great customer service. Dr. Dominguez and staff are fantastic! They made annual eye exam easy and worry free. All my questions were answered in detail and very informative. They also have the Optos machine to take pictures of your eye which gives much better results than getting dilated in my opinion. Definitely a recommended place to go for eye care!

Dr. Dominguez is a top-notch professional and it was like meeting an old friend that I hadn't seen in a while. I know I sound like I'm completely gushing over something as simply as an eye exam. Maybe it's the dreadful and uncertain circumstances surrounding the pandemic that makes such a nice experience overblown on my behalf. That's my point. You expect people to be good at their jobs and if things aren't running as smoothly as possible in these current times, I'd still be understanding and cut them a little slack. Nevertheless, the entire staff there are a professional bunch and they all seemed to be genuinely as happy as could be enjoying their day at work! We switched eye care providers after having a less than stellar experience at the first one we went to upon relocating to the Phoenix area. Dr. Dominguez is fantastic! He is so nice and personable and did not try to "upsell" us on things we don't truly need. Plus, his office staff members were also very nice and helpful. I’m so happy with the quality of care at Moon Valley Eyecare. I’ve been in glasses for most of my life and have severe astigmatisms that really hinder my ability to wear certain frames and contacts. Dr. Jesse listens to any and all concerns and wants what’s best for his patients. I’m used to getting the quick in-and-out treatment from other Optometrists, but not here. Moon Valley Eyecare have always been extremely friendly, and supportive as I go through the journey of getting my son his first few sets of glasses. As a single parent, who doesn’t wear them, they were able to make sure my son and I knew what was going on, helped him battle thru the hour of trying out his first set of contacts (yes, they literally took an hour out of their day to help him learn to put contacts in), and get accustomed to his glasses, as he wasn’t a fan of contacts. I have a condition in my right eye and there just can't be much done for it but...Dr D gave me the best explanation yet and how it's my brains handling of the weak optic nerve that causes the issue. Was honest and told me progressive lenses really wont help all that much but it was up to me. No hard sell tactics. The ladies that help with picking out frames and lenses were super cool too. This practice was a life saver to me. Traveling across country, I suffered a serious corneal abrasion. Very painful and potentially damaging. With no appointment, Dr. Domingez expertly treated me within a few minutes of walking in. His staff (Alex and Amy) are wonderful. They use a high tech and very easy method of getting the patient info, without asking you to fill out poor copies of old forms. The office a not imposing, but quite comfortable and pleasant. The staff and doctor took as much time with me as needed to help me recover from this injury. His equipment is high tech and his treatment is old school. He and his staff made sure I would be ok. They saved my trip and prevented further permanent damage. This place is an example of how it should be. Thanks a million.
