I was out riding with the children today and I just so happened to stop in to the Americas best to get their eye exams and I was absolutely blown away by the great positive energy that the assistant manager Jenny was able to deliver. Every single person in the store had to feel her positive energy. I will definitely recommend stopping in and getting a taste of what great customer service should feel like. My hat goes off to Jenny because she set a new precedent for what I would like to expect from customer service. If you haven't stopped in to check out some glasses or get an eye exam then you most definitely should. It's almost a guarantee that you will leave feeling very exuberant.

This location is AWESOME. Jenny, the assistant manager, is AMAZING with handling customer service problems and issues. Due to my work schedule, I was unable to come into the store to have my glasses replaced. Jenny was very helpful in ordering my glasses and ensuring I only had to visit the store location once. When the situation could have turned into a "customer complaint", she rallied and used excellent customer skills to ensure I received my glasses without having to interfere with my very hectic work schedule. Always a pleasure getting glasses and contacts here. My prescription is pretty high so glasses/contacts are always expensive, but these guys make it a little more affordable. They have just about every type of frame and always have some kind of extra discount. I do the eye care club because it ends up being cheaper than insurance. This time around Kema helped me and she was great! The people that work there are always very friendly and helpful.

Really impressed with the associates at this location. After my appointment, there was some confusion about my contacts brand, which had changed when I switched insurance and was seeing a different provider temporarily. The mix-up caused a whole ordeal with my insurance, and the bureaucratic labyrinth that my insurance started me down was really frustrating. Thankfully, Jenny at America's Best here sat down with me to patiently sort it out, speaking directly with my insurance for me. When they still were giving us grief, Jenny went above and beyond to figure out a way to get me my refund and correct prescription ASAP. She was really courteous of my time too, helping me avoid having to schlep back into the office more than once. I'm super grateful to Jenny and overall just impressed with her and her associates' dedication in making this right. Thanks again, Jenny!

I just want to shoutout the team here and specifically Jenny who went out of her way to help me get contacts when I was desperate and here from out of town! I have been a customer of Americas Best for over 10 years and this was one of the most positive experiences. I came into town without contacts and I have a special prescription that is never in stock in the store. I explained my situation to Jenny and she called my doctor from my home Americas Best and was able to get approval for a pair of contacts to hold me over for a couple days until I am back home. Today showcase the company’s professional and highly appreciated staff members, they provided me with the best costumer services. I was there about two weeks ago for an exam. I have been going to America’s Best for years now and it’s always a good experience. This location was amazing! There wasn’t a very long wait, they’re very helpful with making sure you have a safe place and method for taking out contact lenses. The doctor was very sweet as well as the tech in the beginning who helped with the initial part of the exam. Then it was time to pick my glasses and Angie was super awesome. I’ve only actually gotten new frames about three times in my life and it’s always stressful. You want them to look good! I didn’t feel for a second that I had to rush picking them. I know what kind of anxiousness over it is on me but Angie made it all just go away. Then she was super informative on my options for the lenses themselves. She took my health/driving concerns into consideration and was super patient with running prices for me so that I could make the best decision possible. Thank you so much! 10/10 I will keep coming here.

I've been going to this America's Best location on Walnut Street for years and have always been very well taken care of and had great experiences with the whole team from the doctors to the office staff. "Cat with the Cat Eyeglasses" was able to answer questions I had before they left my lips. I am also a stage 5 procrastinator and when I don't order contacts in time, they even set me up with trials until my order comes in. True Blues all around!

This store is fabulous and I cannot recommend this store enough. I came to this location after having a bad experience at another store. The manager, Dina, and the assistant manager, Jenny, were extremely helpful and so responsive. They listened about the problems I had with the other store, gave me a new exam, and helped me figured out a new pair of glasses. They kept me updated through the entire process. Every employee I interacted with at this store was nice and helpful. I would recommend everyone go to this location for all eye exams and glasses. I stopped in merely to have my glasses adjusted, thinking perhaps someone would be able to assist me. Additionally, my eye insurance was set to expire that upcoming Saturday due to my having changed jobs. Just like that, SUPER friendly and joyful Jenny not only adjusted my glasses on the spot, she asked if I wanted to be seen by the doctor since there was a 5:30 pm availability. This is an awesome place to get glasses. They have lots of stylish frames and the employees are amazing, especially Jenny. She is so helpful and knowledgeable and goes out of her way to make sure you have a great experience. I ordered sunglasses on Saturday and I told her it would be great if I had them back for a cruise I was taking in a week. She reached out to the lab on Monday and kept me abreast of their progress through the week and they arrived a day before my trip which was half the normal time. Glasses had a weird bend to it after I sat on it that I wasn’t able to fix at home. I figured I’ll stop by Americas Best to see if they can help me out. Jenny was very welcoming and helped me through the process. It turned out that I was never comfortable in my glasses even before I sat on it; It was constantly sliding down my nose prior to the fix. Ok I guess I was feeling a little spicy and impatient during my last visit garnering a one star review, but the truth is everyone at this office is friendly, knowledgeable and patient. And just doing the best job they can!! …….. The techs and receptionists are really quick, polite and efficient but you’ll always wait AT LEAST 30 min for your appointment. They have appointment slots every 15 minutes but clearlyyyyy that’s a lil too hard for them to keep up with. Come here if you have nothing else planned for your day.

The eye exam went smoothly, and the doctor really demonstrated great competence- even showing me how I had been wearing the wrong prescription previously! The stylists were very helpful, and the customer service was great. They helped me pick out great frames, went over care and the service plan. Fantastic experience. I’ll be a customer for life. I had the good fortune to be greeted by the stellar Jenny, who steered me to the EXACT pair of super-lightweight frames I wanted. She also gave me an enormous helping hand with finding frames for my sunglasses, and talked to me in detail about what was covered by their various price point plans. I was out the door in EIGHT minutes. I had initially thought that I’d “just be looking” since I was on my way to a PT appointment, but with Jenny’s knowledgeable and caring assistance, I am so glad I stayed. Frames were in early and I got a call from - who else - but Jenny. She fit my new glasses today and I couldn’t be happier. They are very lightweight (so imp for me as I wear all day) and look great. Price wise I feel as though I saved a LOT of money compared to similar opticians I’d patronized in the past. Like several hundred dollars less (I wear progressives). Great experience and I have to say the customer service piece was the most impressive, and made me want to share my experience online.

I have been a customer at America’s Best Eye for over 20 years. I have always received great customer service but Jenny at the Walnut St location in downtown Philadelphia went above and beyond for me. I broke my frame a few days prior to my vacation. When I arrived at the location, I was told the frame was discontinued and new glasses would take 10 days. I ride a Harley Davison and driving without glasses could be dangerous. I have also found that contacts dry out on long road trips and don’t protect my eyes. Sadly, I ordered new glasses and left. The next day, I received a call from Jenny! She had found my frame at another location and called me 1 hour before closing! I could hardly believe that she spent time to call all the locations until she found them. I raced to the store- where she was beaming as I came through the door. If COVID wasn’t still an issue, I would have hugged her as if we were old friends. I was so happy, I paid the new glasses and walked out with my new frames! When I left for my rode trip, I couldn’t help but think about her kindness and positive energy ! First, I’ve been going to the For Eyes located on Walnut Street for years. I’ve never been completed happy with them (there is limited variety in their glasses and they’re expensive) but I was used to them and didn’t think it mattered where I went for my glasses. I’ve had my current glasses since 2015 and they’ve never fit well and I always felt like my eyes were straining. A friend told me about her recent experience with another America’s Best location and encouraged me to try them. I made an appointment online (very convenient) for February 1st and it was such a great experience! Every test was explained to me during my exam and it was determined my previous prescription was too high. When it was time to choose new frames, I figured I was on my own to find a nice pair. But then Jenny came over, an amazing Sales Associate! She’s like a personal shopper for eyewear; such a great attitude and sense of style. She showed me glasses I would have never chosen for myself but made me feel amazing. When you have to wear glasses, it’s easy to forget that they can also be fashionable. Jenny understands how a nice pair can change how you see yourself and improve your confidence. She’s amazing and was the highlight of my visit! I bought 4 pairs and I’m going back for sunglasses!

I went to this location the other day and had a lovely experience. I had an appointment and even though I arrived almost an hour early for it, I was till seen right away. The young lady at the front desk, though I didn’t catch her name, was pleasant and quick and handled my paperwork and prescreening in a friendly and professional manner. The actual optometrist I saw was very personable and walked me through the pros and cons of various contact lenses that would work for me. The person I got to spend the most time with however was Jenny. She’s the one that took me around to show me the frames that they had available and recommended several to me. She was great, so sweet and sincere, and very helpful. I tried on all the pairs she suggested and each one sat nicely on my face and looked very cute. She lead me a little bit outside of my comfort zone after I admitted to usually getting black or dark blue frames but still managed to find me some that matched my style. I ended up with two pair, one more “professional” and one more “fun” but both ones I love but wouldn’t have thought to try on myself without her input (I let her know she was a good sells-woman). She even broke down my insurance for me and handled my actual payment just as efficiently as everything else. I hope she’s there the day I do to pick up my glasses next week!

I was nervous in general and especially due to having sensitive eyes. Jenny was bubbly, kind and patient. When I became frustrated with myself, she was very reassuring. Although today marks the first time that I have ever worn contact lenses, I see the benefit and am enjoying them. Jenny was so helpful that I was able to pick out a new fun pair of glasses. However, when it came to buying glasses, Jenny, the office optician was helpful and amazing! I didn’t have to sort through numerous frames, to find the right one. Jenny was able to recommend a cool frame style less than 10 minutes. Jenny has a beautiful, bubbly personality, and was detailed, open and honest throughout the entire transaction. Finally, my frames were processed much sooner than first estimated. When the frames arrived, Jenny called me for pickup immediately. If you’re looking for eye exams and /or contact lenses prescription – look no further! I had the best experience in America’s best contacts in Philadelphia Center City. I came to renew my prescription, and unfortunately I needed the contacts right away. Although I was a walk-in they said they could squeeze me in the same day. But because I couldn’t (I preferred to check other places with higher prices) they scheduled an appointment for the very next day. Everyone was so nice and professional, and they were very serious about my eyes – from taking my complete medical history to performing thorough eye exams. Because I was a new costumer (with a tricky eye condition) they wanted to complete my prescription only after I’d used their prescription for a week (again – so professional!), but I explained my situation to them and they did everything in their power to rush the procedure. Special thanks to Jenny – she is one of the kindest, most helpful people I’ve ever met!!! I know this seems like a paid review but I don’t care – they are that good. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

I lost my glasses and needed new ones asap because it's generally hard to be a successful college student when you can't see. I got the exam by Dr. Staeble, who was so nice and understanding. One of the wonderful ladies working there, Jasmine, helped me get my glasses and waited patiently for me to pay. Unfortunately, it would have taken at least a week for them to arrive. My father said that the idea of me being unable to see for a week was absurd so I went back in and asked for temporary contacts. The receptionist, Jasmine, was so polite and positive even though my father was being a little aggressive. I then got some amazing help from Stephanie. She was so nice and encouraging through the whole process, especially putting on the contacts. I was also encouraged by Jenny and she made me feel so welcomed. Before I came here I was a little skeptical but after going I highly recommend it. This place is efficient. The staff is friendly. The doctor knows what he is doing, and the selection is fairly good. I came in with two walk-ins on a Saturday and was amazed how quickly they were able to get us through, even with a bunch of other customers. They also have a large waiting space so you feel comfortable even when it is crowded. That being said walk-ins on Saturday are no guarantee ad it seems the place gets full very quickly. At least one customer was told they would have to comeback in the afternoon or make an appointment. That being said, if they do get you in, you can be sure to have a smooth experience.

Upon returning & putting on my second pair a screw fell out. Not being able to see small details, I had to use scotch tape to hold it together. This was a mess! Greetings, This was my first time at America’s Best. My appointment was 7/26/18 at 4:40. I arrived at 4:30 and was greeted promptly and given the patient form to fill out and gave them my insurance info. I waited about 5 minutes before I was seen by Terry for the initial exam. Had a very pleasant conversation with her about families. She informed that though Dr. Stauble was young, he was was very thorough and if he found something wrong, he would refer me immediately to have the issue addressed. Dr. Stable is a sweetheart. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing; he also pointed out all the parts of my eye 👁 ... he even told me I have freckles in my eyes! Who knew?! The last part of my experience was with Jenny. I had picked out 2 frames. She started the fitting process and when I explained that I really don’t want to wear glasses 🤓 at all due to vanity and wanted the glasses to disappear on my face, she immediately told me “Oh no, you want to look at these over here.” There was a whole wall of rimless frames which was the look I was going for. She recommended a particular frame and I agreed with her. So, the paperwork. There was a misstep with my paperwork and my insurance was not included in my price and I paid a deposit. Once I realized this, Jenny was a true professional and was patient in reworking everything even though it was now 6:05 and she was supposed to get off at 6; they close at 6:30. The reworking took us to about 6:20 with me apologizing for not asking sooner whether my insurance was included and her having to stay. She told me I had nothing to apologize for and that she should have checked that herself. Jenny, thank you for loving your job and for being customer focused. I will be going back for my eye care needs and am trying to get my mom to go as well.

Went there because I failed my vision test at the DMV. Staff was very friendly and helped me right away. The environment was really clean and there were plenty of employees to help you with picking glasses. I paid $45 for just the eye exam; I wanted to buy glasses online from a different company and they completely understood. They filled out my DMV paperwork, gave me my prescription and let me go on my way. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of glasses, contacts or just even a prescription!

I called in about bringing my glasses (that I bought a few months back) to upgrade lens protection. I was looking for a specific type of lens protection; and between HEV, UV, and tints, I wanted to make sure I was getting the right thing. The customer service was unlike anything I've ever experienced at pretty much any place I've ever been. I was asking a lot of questions and had them all answered very clearly. I spoke with Wanai who was SO incredibly patient with me and helpful. I even had the opportunity to speak to Dr. Stauble, who clarified everything to make sure I had a full understanding of the different types of options. I didn't even have to bring my glasses to them to get shipped. They took my order over the phone to have my lenses shipped to the store where I can bring my glasses on site and swap out the old lenses.
