This place was such an amazing find. I'm not originally from the Omaha metro, from a small town instead. Walking into this office, it's much more of a small town feel, very personable - you're not just a number! This is the only office I've ever felt like this in Omaha. I felt listened to and not rushed at all. She was also amazing with my kids. 10/10 recommend!! This IS our eye doctor from now on!!

This place was super nice a smaller building but did not feel small due to the design, very new and the staff was very helpful and kind. Dr. Alison is amazing!!! I am about as far from a normal refraction as one can be. Not only does she have incredible knowledge, she has always put me and my eye needs first. Any goober can be an optometrist, but if you want a goober, go to America’s best. Lastly her staff is super professional. I trust all my optical needs with them!! I have been going to Skyline Vision for about two years now, they are phenomenal! I initially saw them because my previous optometrist gave me the wrong prescription glasses and refused to fix them and I was convinced it wasn’t the right prescription. I went to Dr Walz to recheck my eyes and sure enough it wasn’t the right prescription. Her and her team have helped me with not only seeing me for my yearly checks but also with helping me with my dry eye syndrome! For the first time EVER in my life, I was given some help/answers for my dry eyes, she is a life saver!! I recently had to see her because my vision changed suddenly and she was more than willing to be able to see me and help me correct my prescription again. I believe SV is very patient- focused and takes the time to get to know you as a person and still help you at the same time, I so appreciate this! Dr Walz and her team is very informative and friendly. They are always willing to answer all the questions I bring. They work with other phenomenal people outside of their office and point you in the right direction if they aren’t able to assist further. I would definitely recommend Skyline Vision, you won’t regret it, trust me!

Dr. Walz is not a regular Optometrist, she’s a cool Optometrist. She’s like really good at eye exams. One of the hippest / best places to get an eye exam, contacts, and glasses. She’s always thorough and helpful with any questions! I travel 100+ miles to visit her every year for my exam and the office is always so great to work around schedules and fit you in quickly - which is SO appreciated!

I have not been to an optometrist that I liked EVER! All the girls there were so nice and friendly and informative. I felt like I got the best care I've had in years. She listened to my concerns and even offered a few solutions to some of my current discomforts with my contacts. When it came time to pick out my new frames everyone started helping! It felt like they were pulling all the frames they thought would look good and helping me out with my decision. I will NEVER go anywhere else 1000/10 will recommend this place to everyone!

Usually I have panic attacks and cry at any type of doctor's office, but they made me feel so comfortable. The doctor and receptionist were so nice and efficient. The best teacher anyone could ask for with using contacts for the first time, plus very funny and was able to keep me calm and relaxed! I am tired of wearing readers and not having them on me when I need them, which is more often than I'd like to admit. Both Mara and Dr. Walz-Tarkowski helped too make my experience an enjoyable one! Very good experience and attention to detail. Particularly noteworthy is the guy who does the fitting; Eric if I remember correctly. I have progressive lenses and have had trouble getting a correct lens setup and he gave a very technically based explanation of how he sets up these types of lenses. The doctor was a pleasure to work with too. They both instilled a sense of confidence about getting glasses from them.

Dr. Walz and her staff are wonderful! I love shopping for glasses but the fit process makes my anxiety sky rocket! They have been amazing! I feel bad for calling/stopping in SO OFTEN for adjustments to my glasses. Dr. Walz was super patient and I don't know how she did it, but my glasses fit my head/face wonderfully now! Dr. Walz is exceptional. I recently went to her for my annual eye exam and I really liked her. Then today, my 2 month old woke up with an eye infection. I called so many different pediatric optometry/ophthalmology offices trying to have him seen since his pediatrician is out of town. Every office I called told me they didn’t have availability or to go see a general pediatrician. (Side note: since when is going to a specialist for a very specific medical concern not recommended?) Beyond frustrated, I called Dr. Walz’s office and left a message. I was so surprised when she personally called me back in between patients and was so helpful and happily made time to assess my son’s eye. I am so grateful to her and I can’t recommend her enough!

I recently brought my daughter in for a comprehensive exam. I can't saw enough good things about this practice. Having been in this field for almost a decade, I am very particular about who takes care of my family's eyes! The Doctor and Optician here are top notch. Great demeanor and friendliness from the optician during check in and pretesting. Excellent exam given by Dr. Allison. We were talking the entire time like old friends! She is warm, friendly, thorough, professional. The practice is clean, asthetically pleasing, has great product selection that is fairly priced. They are current on the latest lens technology and I feel confident they would put my family and I in the best choice for our vision needs. We are happy to have a great, local eye care practice close to home! Go check them out!

I had the greatest eye appointment I have EVER had. Back story: about 5 years ago I got Lasix. Prior to that I was very well followed as I used daily contacts. Throughout the years of being followed and complaints of red dry eyes and infections I was never getting to the problem let alone fixing the problem! To now: I was had been expecting pain in my left eye as I was in my way home from work skyline made themselves available to me without ever being a patient. Not only helped me understand my eye health and what I need todo moving forward to help prevent the same issue. She was fabulous and educational. Very professional, friendly and so easy to work with. Eric(spelling?) helped my son with his contacts for 30-45 mins. Dr Allison too. Wow. I'd be writing an essay if I list out everything. In short, don't hesitate to give Skyline vision your business. They will bend over backwards and treat you right.
