The entire staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. The charges were explained in great detail, I appreciate all of the individualized customer service. Dr. Boeckman was very attentive to my recent vision changes and identified an astigmatism that had been overlooked by other doctors previously. I am so grateful for her skills and ability to give me clearer vision! I would recommend this location to anyone!

Friendly knowledgeable staff! Through my own bad decisions, I ended up not liking the pair of glasses I purchased and was within the guarantee period. I went in, picked out a new pair of frames and only had to pay the difference on the frames as I picked a more expensive pair. They were absolutely awesome about it!

This place was great and awesome they were extremely professional as well as nice and very patient with my millions of questions I also like how they have their pricing for Frames right on the Frames so you can compare and start your budgeting if you're like me being that I'm a a small budget and I actually think nowadays alot of people are on some kind of budget with the covid19 and everything nonetheless they didn't make me feel any different than anyone else and I would highly recommend them my new glasses are better than my old ones in sturdiness and quality I will probably return here again

My first interaction was great. The eye exam was easy to set up and the staff were friendly. They have a great selection of frames. But, I am getting contacts for the first time. They are completely inflexible when scheduling a time to show you how to put the contact in. You can either go at 1pm during the week or at 9:30 on a Saturday. Due to kids and jobs this makes it difficult to get the product I paid for. Again, great staff and friendliness but if you need flexibility in certain areas this may be a struggle at this location.

The Shopko staff was friendly and kind from the moment I stepped in the door. The lady who took me back for eye tests, was so kind and patient. Dr. Volcheck took the time I needed and patiently answered my questions and concerns about my right eye. He worked hard to find the right lenses for me, and gave me advice about dry eyes, and other things. I had been going to America's Best, which treats you like cattle, hurrying you through with no personal care or concern. I would most definitely recommend Shopko Optical at Oakview Mall in Omaha, NE!!

Excited to see that good customer service is still alive! I went early to pick from their large selection of eyeglasses. Was pleasantly surprised that for a small fee; i could have a digital examination of my eyes instead of the drops that make seeing things blurry. The staff was polite. The Optometrist was knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me some tips about dry eye or newer procedures out there to treat it. He went above and beyond.

Took my dad in for exam and new glasses. A very clean, orderly and spacious environment. Staff were very pleasant and professional. Eye doctor did a really great job with my 92 year old dad. Glasses technician a nice guy, could have been a little more helpful. Glasses very inexpensive, not a huge selection for men, but adequate. Overall a very good experience and very affordable. If you are on a budget this is a really good choice!

Tim is a great eye doctor, and so is the the team he works with. He cares about about making sure your prescription is correct and any concerns you may have. His staff is helpful and friendly, and will go above and beyond to get you what you need. I have gone to Shopko Optical for for years, and thus, seen Dr. Tim for years and he is the best! Thanks guys as always for your help!

I would recommend shopko optical to anyone. Very helpful and friendly staff. Cynthia is very knowledgeable and very friendly. She took the time to help me pick out my very first pair of glasses. Dr Timothy Volcheck is very kind and takes his time with each of his patients. Then he explains what he finds in his eye exam very well. Great place to go!!!

I can honestly say I had a fantastic experience at this Shopko Optical location. Before I drove to the store, Alexis was able to quickly assist me by reviewing my insurance and giving me a price-point of what I could expect to pay. Upon arrival to the store, Alexis and Shelly showed their helpful and genuine personalities while maintaining professionalism while showing me cute glasses at a good price! Love the dr Service is good But the prices of the frames and prescriptions are higher then other stores I could have gone to Costco and gotten two glasses for that I paid for one Also I was the first patient my text said to be there ten mins early but the store does not open til nine am so I had to wait outside. Not cool. You need to fix that.

I'd been coming here since I moved to Omaha in 2016. When I got new insurance, I thought I should probably go to a primary provider. After 2 appointments at a different eye care center that went horribly, I decided it was worth the extra money to come back to Shopko Optical. The people here are so friendly, my doctor, Tim, is personable and knows my name. I always feel welcome here. Today, I showed up for my appointment and was helped by the very friendly Denia. Even when computers were acting up and refusing to cooperate, Denia was cool and funny, and I didn't mind the wait. It's weird to say, but I'm always excited to come for my appointments here. Extra cost be damned.

I called earlier this week to re-up on contacts, Judy was super friendly and efficient on the phone and even got me in within a few days for an exam. Today I got my exam, Alexis was the one who checked me in and out and she was amazing too! went over prices with me for the contacts and what my insurance would cover. we got in a few good giggles too. i’ve been going to shoplift optical for at least 10 years now and I can’t imagine going anywhere else (:

Definitely recommend Shopko Optical. Dr. Tim and the whole staff are wonderful! We have been seeing Dr. Tim for almost 20 years. We moved out of the area 2 years ago due to my husband's job, but we still come back every year for our eye care. Well worth the 2 hr drive. Everyone there makes you feel like family. Dr. Tim listens to your concerns and provides excellent care. Today, Maya was very helpful and explained all the tests and measurements she did with me before seeing Dr. Tim. She helped me decide on my frames and to choose the right coating/protection for my lenses. Always great care every visit.

I was late to pick up my glasses so they were sent back which would've resulted in my insurance being held and I would've been without my eyewear,the office manager didn't want to release my insurance but Mya advocated for me and I want to thank her for her due diligence. If not for her I would've had to pay out of pocket,Alexis was professional and thorough even had me come back in to verify my glasses weren't scratched My optometrist was awesome he does great work and I'm happy I chose ShopKo optical. As far as the Office Manager I know you have a job to fulfill but life has a tendency to get in the way all I ask is that you remember people aren't just number's on paper and thank you for releasing my insurance.

They were really helpful and friendly! I was in and out in a good amount of time and they were very flexible with payment! They helped clean up my old pair of glasses and gave me a variety of options to choose from for new frames. The lady who helped me check out, Maya, was very friendly and helpful. She helped make sure everything fit correctly and let me know the prices and what insurance would cover. The whole store was very friendly honestly. They even offered to ship my glasses for free because of covid-19!! The Dr. who did my eye exam was very patient as well. He wasn't annoyed when I asked for him to show me the different number frames more than once. The whole staff honestly just wanted to help to the best of their ability and you don't see that alot anymore.

SHOPKO OPTICAL is a great place to get your glasses and eye exam. The Doctor and crew were friendly, professional and helpful. They had a very nice selection of glasses to choose from. We have had more than one poor experience at Pearl Vision- Shopko Optical was the opposite of that and exceeded all my expectations.

My family and I have gone to Dr. Volcheck and Shopko Optical for many years, and have always been very happy with the service and care we've been given. When I developed cataracts, Dr. Volcheck worked in tandem with my eye surgeon and was always on top of my medication changes. Two years post-surgery when I needed bifocals, he made sure they were specific to my needs as a computer programmer sitting at a screen all day and as a pianist playing at church on the weekends, needing both near vision and far vision while my hands were busy on the keyboard. I highly recommend Dr. Volcheck and Shopko Optical!

And Dr. Tim is 10 out of 10 in my book Serious Man-crush for his chair-side manner and genuine interest in his patients. I had had a horrible experience at the CostCo optical center 3 days before. I had zero faith in that highly unprofessional Dr. or the prescription he had written me. Im glad I got a second opinion The Costco prescription had been off IN BOTH EYES.
