When I became a patient of Heartland Eye Consultants, I was seeing Dr. "Bob". For a few years now, I have been seeing Dr. Kent. She is very personable, appears very knowledgeable, always takes time to explain my somewhat complicated issues that arise from my glaucoma. She also asks me if I understand and if I have any questions -- she does not examine, make notes and scoot out of the room quickly!! I recommend Dr. Kent for all these reasons.

From the time that my husband and I arrived at Heartland Eye Consultants we were treated with respect! I believe my tech’s name was Makenna who assisted Dr. Delaney. Makenna explained everything to me before the actual eye tests. There were several procedures that were done. After the initial tests were done, Dr. Delaney explained everything to my husband and I in a concise manner. Dr. Delaney was very personable and answered all of our questions. She took the time to explain everything that is happening with my eyes and developed a short term plan as well as a long term plan if need be. I would highly recommend this place. I was given a referral from Dr. Trevor from Malbar Vision.

Allison was so great at taking information and testing my eyes. Dr. Delaney Kent was so thorough and explained the results so well. Dr. Bob has done thorough examinations & has the most current technology to assist in diagnosis. I have been so impressed with the skill and thoroughness of all the staff. In addition, all the staff is friendly & accommodating. I highly recommend Heartland Eye Consultants for your in depth eye care.

Wonderful results! Two of my children did vision therapy at Heartland Eye Consultants for differing reasons. My oldest would get frequent headaches and sometimes complained that the words were "moving around on the page" when he was reading. Within the space of nine months, he went from sometimes reading a Magic Tree House book to reading The Lord of the Rings trilogy. He is still an avid reader. My other son would sometimes see double and struggled with body control/awareness that was related to vision issues. I was nervous every time he carried a plate of food across the kitchen. He is greatly improved, can do a sharp-looking jumping jack (nearly impossible for him before), and is developing his own joy of reading. It takes time and effort, for sure. There are plenty of days you don't want to do the practice at home, but it was definitely worth it. The doctors and staff were wonderful, professional, and caring. Overall, an excellent experience and excellent results.

Dr Will had been absolutely wonderful with my 9 year old. Dr Will makes my son feel comfortable, and I Love how he talks to him to where my son understands what is going on. The front desk staff is also very nice andy son is always surprised that they know his name as soon as he walks through the door, even when we haven't been there for months. We drive almost 2 hours to get there, and its always worth the drive.

He did an amazing job meeting my needs and providing me with the medicated drops to help heal my eyes. I was referred to Heartland Eye by my Optometrist here in Papillion Ne, as I has suddenly within a week developed severe as in walking into things, unable to make out my husband from a couch pillow, DOUBLE VISION. Bottom line, I saw the Ophthalmology expert at my local large Center and was told a misdiagnosis and that nothing could be done except taping over one of my glasses lenses. WRONG! Saw Dr. Will Ferguson at HE and he spent personally almost three hours examining my vision, all directional gazes with and without prisms which is KEY, correctly diagnosed the problem as autoantibodies attacking my vision (I have Severe Lupus) and WAS able to prescribe full both eye glasses WITH PRISMS, which is CURING the diplopia by allowing the correct use of Both eyes, not shutting one down with taping over it! GENIUS GENIUS EYE SPECIALIST, Great bedside manner, wonderful assistant, and the entire folks are great!!!! He is my Eye specialist for life, along with my Eye doctor locally, who worked with him to oversee the building of these important glasses. Well, that’s my story! Would Run thee of have similar problems!

The care I have received from Dr. Ternus has been excellent. Several years ago, Dr. Ternus diagnosed my cataracts, explained the cause, and walked me through the necessary procedures for surgery, and followup. Currently, she is taking care of a new problem with my eyes; she promptly diagnosed the issue, and her staff secured an emergency appointment with a retina specialist. No wait, no worry! Dr. Holly Ternus not only has taken care of my eye problems, but she combines personal touches and genuinely cares. I highly recommend her for all your eye care needs! You won’t be disappointed!

We were told that she was legally blind in one eye and to be careful with her good eye. Dr. Will found a way rehabilitate the eye and have it work again with her brain. These people are miracle workers! If your eye doctor ever tells you things are hopeless - call Heartland. They think outside the box and do what it takes to help! She can now read with the "legally blind" eye!
