Came here for Glasses for my Fiancé was greeted really well once I walked in. Mayra a staff member helped us out, made us feel so comfortable got an eye exam tried on glasses and was out the door in 30 mins. Picked up 1 pair of glasses 2 pairs of sunglasses We talking top of the line and the newest out! The glasses and sunglasses were ready in less then a week! I will definitely come here again and recommend everyone I know! Thank you Mayra and the entire Ny optical team for making my experience one to actually write about.

I only give 5 stars because of Myra. All the girls are great but Myra is the only one I trust my children with. She has been at this establishment for years. She help u pick out great frames at a good price. She is always helpful. She is the first face u see coming through the door. She always goes above and beyond for the patients. I liked the service, but don't bother trying to send them an email or call. I sent an email and called several times to get an invoice for my visit and get reimbursed by the insurance. Nobody bothered to answer my email, and the accountant who took all of my information by phone never sent the invoice she said she would. I then tried reaching her again, but now there is no way to do that.

First time visit was pleased. The staff friendly and helpful. The eye technician was great replaced lens, from one pair of glasses to another. He adjusted glasses perfectly. The wait was 1 hour but expected with work that was needed. I'll definitely be going back.

Great people and great location. The lady at the front (I think her name was Mayra) got me set up quickly even though I had never been there before. The doctor was quick and explained what was going on throughout the process. I got my prescription about 2-3 days after my appointment. This neighborhood is full of optical shops but I chose this one because seems like the cleanest and most modern. Plus it is close to the J, M, Z train so it was easy for me to get to.👍🏼

I've been coming to this eye doctor since I was a child. My experience has always been a good one. It gets busy but that's what happens when you have alot of patients who know that it's a good eye doctor, just have patience. (Its part of life). They are very clean and very helpful. I have nothing negative to say. I have been going there since I was a child and will continue to go as an adult and I also bring my children here as well..

For my first time, it was a pleasant visit. At the front the staff was friendly and welcoming. After checking in there was a little bit of a wait but the line moves quickly, and the eye doctor was very attentive to eye care. I would highly recommend it, they provide great service to anyone.

The people here were EXTREMELY helpful with me, I travel a lot and had a complication (it's a long story) due to the fact that I needed to leave town, but they worked around it and went above and beyond to help make sure I got everything I needed. The doctor was also very nice and easy to work with (he's the young white guy with short beard but I forgot his name). Overall very happy with my experience here and the willingness for them to help me professionally and with a positive attitude.

I have been coming to this facility since I was a child and never realized there were so many bad reviews. I have never had a problem in over 15 years. Today I went because I lost my glasses. My insurance was giving me a problem, but once that was resolved, everything ran smoothly. Myra was the optician who helped me from start to finish, she was great. They have a very wide selection for their glasses. They are also fast. They have same day pick up if you’re getting plain glasses; I didn’t need anti-glare, anti-scratch, transition lenses, or anything else. The eye exam was a breeze. Dr. Buck was great too, very thorough and to the point. So to sum up, they really are great! Everyone was very professional.

My visit was good. Since it’s walk-ins it was a tad bit crowded, however service kept moving. I may have waited longer than I was tested. My eye technician explained everything to me for understanding and even scheduled a follow up appointment for his concerns. I’ll will be a returning customer!

Great Service. This was my son’s first visit at this location. Completely different from the first location we went last year. Staff is very nice and respecful. They take their time with the patients and receive multiple exams (which I liked very much). Doctor was very attentive and helpful. My son thought is was cool looking at photos of his eye and having the doctor explain it. Will be back next year for his annual visit.

I can say that i had great experience with them. The staff, especially Ms Marabelle and Mr Jose (alias Goya), were very pleased and profesional. Plus my eyeglasses were ready in one hour post examination. The price for their frames was pretty reasonable too. I would recommend it to anyone in a blink of an eye.

Today experience was excellent. The ladies at the front assist me as soon as I walked in. They assured me my wait wouldn’t be too long which was great. My experience with the eye doctor was excellent. He discoverd I still have 20/20 vision after I assumed I was blind in one eye and can’t see out the other. He just recommended reading glasses. He had a great sense of humor which made me feel very comfortable. So gold star ⭐️ for New York opticlal.

Doctors are ok but when it's time to get glasses the girls only push the most expensive glasses on you. They don't show you the very few frames they carry that your insurance will actually cover.

If youre going to go to the New York Optical do not go to the lady at the first desk. her name is evelyn, She asks if i needed help and i said yes and she completely ignored me after i stood standing there until this young lady named Christina Asked if i was being helped and i told her No and she came and offered her assistance. She took her time in showing me the type of frames i was looking for, she was very pleasant and easy to work with.she got my glasses done within 1 hour. That is what you call good customer service. So if youre going to go to New York optical i highly recommend it but i did not like the service that the older women gave.. other then that nee york optical is great.

I have no complaints really about this place I get treated very well my wait time isn’t too long unless it’s a busy day however even on days such as that I get greeted with warm smiles and amazing help and they answer evry question they also break what’s going on with my eyes to me in such a way I don’t feel cunfused I am over tall pleased with there service I’ve been going since I was 12 years old I am now 28!

But with the best integrity, professionalism and best services. There is a girl whose name I never quite remember but I think it is Mayra. If I'm not mistaken, she is one of those in charge of checking the client. She is very kind and super practical. Always look for how to please so that the client leaves satisfied and looking good at all !! NOTE: An advice if I give you Arrive very early if you have an appointment, because she is so nice that they are always full to CAPACITY.
