Just finished my first appointment at this LensCrafters. Everything was so smooth and everyone was so kind and helpful. Paloma helped me check in and complete the first steps and was very kind. Dr. Lawrence did my exam and she was thorough and kind and also helped me understand how diabetes is related to eye care. Lastly, Liz helped me pick out frames and was so sweet and helped me feel confident in my decision. She was also very patient. Overall, everyone was wonderful and I felt heard and taken care of. Would definitely recommend this LensCrafters location.

Such an awesome experience - LensCrafters is always consistent I usually go to the 55/2nd Ave one.. this one is closer to my house and so happy came here. Everyone is amazing - their customer service and patience and communication is up to par. From the security guard to optician to doctor and assistant manager and Ezra and Pamela my glasses rep. Great team can’t wait to go back. Even with a wait they communicated and we’re understanding of my time and the wait didn’t feel that long. Keep up this level of service!

LensCrafters is way too expensive, but if you have good insurance and don't get the most expensive options it will be reasonable. Clean & comfortable, no stress or pressure. A+

Prior to the pandemic, I had bought many eyeglasses from this LensCrafters, specifically from Norman. Today was my first time back since the pandemic. Norman is no longer there. I was lucky enough to meet Brian who helped me to buy new sunglasses and to put updated lenses in frames I already owned. He worked patiently with me on the options available to me. It was a great experience.

I have been buying prescription glasses for several years. I had an issue with one of the frames I just bought. Liz (the knowledgeable and incredibly patient and helpful manager) and Ebony (who has helped me before and is just lovely to work with) both eased my worries. I also bought a pair of glasses with progressive transition lenses. It is a poular store, so there are times that it's crowded. But the folks who work there do their very best to give each person a tremendous amount of attention. I love this store!

Same day appointments available and everyone from sales associats to doctor was so kind, efficient, and friendly. I really enjoyed working with and finding frames with Estalin M., he kindly checked prices and offered suggestions since my insurance wasn't accepted, and I was there with an eye glass emergency I really appreciated his trying to find things in my price range during my visit. I have been coming to this location for many years, for myself and my special needs son. Service is great, with wonderful staff like Ebony, who others have also mentioned, who take good care of me and who is patient and caring with my son as well. It pains me to have to write a negative story. Yesterday, my son popped one of his very thick lenses out of the frame, and as it was still an hour before closing time, I went over to get some help popping it back in, as I was worried I was going to snap the plastic frame. The door was locked. Eventually someone opened it. “Do you have an appointment?” No, I said, I just need a little help getting this lens back in. “Well you need an appointment with the optician and we don’t have anyone.” The tone was fairly sharp. I need an optician to help pop a lens back in? I asked. “Yes.” And the door was closed in my face. No signs at the door referred to appointments, nothing on the website suggests that this is needed or how to make one. I went home and fixed the glasses myself.

Dr. Anu Yennamandra is the best optometrist I've had. She is highly competent, empathetic, explains my issues in a human, easy to understand way, and has overall great bedside manner. The staff at the store is friendly, but the culture felt off. I was met with the security guard who demanded to know who I was before letting me walk in 2 steps. The hand sanitizer machine was broken and I couldn't find water to drink. It's like they were pressured by management to create some kind of surface-level friendly customer experience, but it was executed poorly as the focus didn't seem to be on healthcare administration. The staff seemed stressed and at one point I overheard them telling a customer they were understaffed. There was also a customer who got angry and started shouting.

Dr. Yennamandra was thorough with her examination, recommendations and explanations on all my options. Biggest shout-out goes to Candiace, for her expert opinion when selecting my new frames and pointed diligence to get me the best price for the exam, lenses and frames --very much appreciated. Plus, she was amazingly calm, friendly and fun during my visit. Now, I just have to submit the claim to the insurance company. But no big deal since the appointment was so productive. Excellent customer service. I’m a first time contact user. They taught me the ways of the world of contacts and brought an end to my blindness! They were super helpful in giving me multiple samples to trial, and setting me up with the style that worked for me. When I ran out of contacts while waiting for a new shipment, they were kind enough to give me a week’s worth of additional samples, free of charge. Highly recommend to all my sight-deprived people out there.

Great location, excellent customer service, and a wide variety of merchandise. A few days ago, I was helped by Genesis. As soon as I entered the store she greeted me and informed me about the special offer that was specifically the day. After browsing the store and being guided by the grace of Genesis’s professional knowledge about glasses, I finally made a decision on which pair of glasses I wanted to walk away with. During the transaction I felt welcomed and appreciated. I wasn’t rushed nor was I treated like an average customer. This is by far the best franchise of lens crafters that I have visited. If you get the opportunity to be customer serviced by Genesis; you will be completely satisfied with your shopping experience.

Genesis was amazing. She was personable and knew about eyewear —she had an expertise about the shape of faces and the glasses that should go with them. Let me add that there is a gentleman who adjusts glasses and he has been adjusting my glasses for an entire year —anytime I went in he was pleasant and he always fixed the problem. I have been waiting over 2 weeks to get lenses replaced on my glasses and there has been little to no effort to locate where they are in the process and when I can expect their arrival. I've checked in multiple times and the staff have said to expect them in a few days but of course they are still not in. Just recently I've been told the shipment was cancelled but no reason was given. I am frankly quite frustrated with the service and will not be going back there again.

Called for some pricing for contacts and everywhere I go it’s so expensive I spoke to a woman Leslie about pricing she was so helpful and patient as I needed help to better understand the insurance portion long story short LensCrafters doesn’t take all insurance which sucks but Lealies customer service made me feel more comfortable about making my purchase. One thing I can say she was right about buying yearly supplies it’s definitely cheaper ! I will definitely shop again with her thanks Leslie !

They gave me a holder so I could keep the ones I had picked up or tried on. The purpose of this was to then disinfect them which was great to know! They helped with understanding my insurance and what it covered for glasses. Genesis was super friendly and helpful! The doctor was also super friendly and helpful i a seeing all my questions and walking me through the results of my eye exam and imaging. I've been visiting this store since it opened and the steady decline continues. The doctors have always been top-notch, but the retail section never fails to disappoint - the selection is pretty well limited to high-end frames, with no budget options and they blast music so loudly you can barely hear yourself think. The salesperson who dealt with my order - I spent about $1,200 for three pairs of glasses - was more interested in singing along with the blaring music than listening to anything I had to day and, when she did speak, I could barely hear her anyway.

Eboni, the manager who helped me, was terrific. I got new glasses in August. I discovered the prescription was off long after the expiration of my insurance company's 30-day grace period for covering a replacement for glasses that didn't work out. Eboni managed to get my new lenses covered by my lens protection plan, even though the plan is not supposed to cover new prescriptions. Rather than paying almost $400 for the lenses, I just paid $50 for a lens protection plan on the new lenses. We also had a very pleasant chat about decorating our respective apartments.

I had gotten a pair of glasses there a year ago. The technician was very helpful and knowledgeable. In addition, he helped me figure out the most economical way of paying for them (they had a half off sale for those without insurance but I saved more using my insurance). They used a computer program to make sure the glasses fit my face which was nice. A few days ago, I bent the glasses out of shape when I fell onto them during the snowstorm. I went back today and technician Juliana fixed them. She also offered to put in new nose pads for free. In addition, I mentioned that my backup glasses hurt my ears and often slipped while running and she gave me a very helpful (and free) consultation. I appreciate her wonderful service and the professionalism and courtesy of all the staff that I've encountered there.

If I could give more than 5 stars to this LensCrafters location I would; this is not the location I typically use but I came here because the service at 71st and Broadway was so lacking. I woke up this Saturday with a severe eye infection, so I went to the LensCrafters where I order my contacts on 71st and Broadway to see if I could be evaluated by one of the doctors, knowing that urgent care would not have the expertise of an opthalmologist to help me. Despite my condition, they refused to see me because they were 'booked' and those with 'standing appointments will be mad if they have to wait'. In the meantime, I contacted the LensCrafters location at 107th and Broadway. Sight unseen, they said they were booked but always accommodate an emergency. I left immediately. When I got there, I waited only a few minutes and was quickly diagnosed with a corneal ulcer and infection, which could result in loss of vision if not treated immediately. I have now seen the doctors there twice in 24 hours and will be back tomorrow, as they want to monitor this closely until the infection is gone. I received a message late yesterday from the 71st St location asking me to come in, they didn't know how bad my condition might be, etc. - but by then I was already home with a perscription. I will not be returning to this location. I'm not sure why policy varies by location but I have to say that Dr. Gardner and the staff 107th and Broadway are wonderfully compassionate, expeditious, and thorough - and I am very thankful for their care.
