I am super pleased with and *highly* recommend Art & Eyes on Magazine Street for any eyeglass or sunglasses needs. I just brought in two sets of sunglasses (that I didn't purchase there originally) for minor repairs. The owner did the repairs right there in shop in just a matter of minutes, and, I swear, both pairs fit, feel, and look even better now than when I first got them. ... Oh, and when I pulled out my wallet to pay, he said, "No charge. Things like this are a public service." ... Outstanding work. Outstanding service. And even a cute little black cat in store to keep you company in the few minutes you wait, hahaha. I couldn't be happier. 😎

Took a pair of sunglasses in to see if they could be repaired-- not only did the owner fix them, but he fabricated a custom-fit screw because he didn't have one that fit. And they have a lovely house cat that keeps you company while you're there! Great people, and great service.

I really appreciate Arts & Eyes staff for their commitment to customer service. They 'fit me in' between appointments (Covid) and spent a great deal of time fixing my frames. I love the frames I bought from them and get compliments on them regularly. I'd encourage anyone looking for unique, stylish options to visit the shop. I will be back to get my next frames here too!

My friend and I went in to look for frames for my prescription lenses and we were in awww at the massive selection! So many to choose from. The personal service we received was like no other. They made us feel special and were extremely helpful in helping me choose the right frames for my face. Not only did I buy frames for my prescription for inside, but also purchased a fabulous pair of sunglasses! My friend didn't leave empty handed either! She bought both some reading glasses and sunglasses! We had such a great girl time. I highly recommend anyone looking for beautiful one of a kind frames that are custom to your face check it out! In addition, everything is sanitized before and after so no worries at all!

I don't think I have ever experienced such great customer care in any other place before, would 100 % recommend going there! I had an issue with a broken frame and Paul was so helpful, professional and friendly trying to help me solve the issue. He made me feel like a friend instead of a mere customer, so I would go back any time. Also, there glasses are super unique and special.

I deeply appreciate Arts & Eyes staff for their commitment to customer service. I purchase a pair of high-end glasses directly from the manufacturer but I needed the frames adjusted to my face. Although I did not buy the frames from their store, they were very attentive and gracious to me when I dropped by for assistance. I appreciate their time and will return to them when I'm in the market for a new pair.

The Best eyeglass store in the country. They carry all types of frames, all styles, and price ranges. The owners Paul and Starr are terrific to work with! They use top quality optics whether you're monofocal or trifocal. My favorite frames that I own are made out of vinyl records.

A huge selection of beautiful sunglasses. It was so hard to choose. Starr is the best. She found sunglasses that were perfect for me. I bought my sunglasses a month ago now. I am so happy with my purchase. I feel so glamorous when I wear it. Makes me feel like Jackie O!

As a licensed optician i appreciate a store that curates unique frames from select brands not readily available at big chain opticals. The large selection has something for everyone and they really cater to their clientele's needs, as one associate was overheard calling a former customer to let her know they had gotten in some petite frames like she was looking for... Our first visit to New Orleans and we made a special journey from 45 minutes away to visit this shop. Highly recommended if you are looking for something completely different...

I had some Guccis customized with transition lenses and she suggested that the lenses get the green shade and that was the perfect color I love how they use their artistic vision to make suggestions on what would be a good fit for the frames they were very professional polite and most importantly very respectable and nice very pleasant atmosphere in the store and the cat that walks around that greets you is very nice too

On my visit to New Orleans, I stopped by Art & Eyes as they carry my favorite eyewear line (Theo). Theo is only carried by "high end" stores. Incredible unique frames and colors that will get you noticed and separate you from the crowd. This store has a wonderful selection of frames, and service was attentive and kind with no pressure ever. I discovered another line I never heard of at this store (Blake Kuwahara) and fell in love with this line and the quality of these frames. I found a pair from Blake Kuwahara at this store that I LOVED, but couldn't pull the trigger to buy at the time. However, after getting back to Florida, I realized that I should have bought them. I called the store, and they remembered the exact frames. No worries, the store delivered the frames quickly, and I could not be more happy 🤓. Thanks for an awesome experience!

Never seen more models that are unique... Even in very high end stores Sales person was very pleasant & patient even though she knew I wasn't going to buy (cause my wife wasn't there for measurements). Prices seemed slightly higher side but well worth it. Highly recommend it if you want an exclusive pair.
