Daisha and Melinda have been absolutely wonderful. Let me just tell you that their level of customer service could be taught all over the country as a masterclass. I’m here on a work trip and I ran out of contacts. I called in and explained my situation and Daisha took time to explain exactly how I could order more for my trip. When I came in to give my prescription in person, Melinda made sure I had a contingency pair of contacts just in case. As a rule from now on, I will only be coming to America’s Best for any of my optical needs in the future. Best prices, locations everywhere, and phenomenal customer service.

Had an overall smooth experience. Everything went nicely with hardly any wait time. Staff was very nice. The employee optician Phoenix was a charming time getting my glasses ordered with. My only gripe was the manager or supervisor at the time corrected Phoenix for not doing introductions “correctly” and did this “correction” in front of me. You should NEVER correct an employee in front of a patient/client/customer. It is incredibly bad practice to do so. Apart from this manager/supervisor‘s extremely poor conduct, my overall experience was wonderful.

I visited America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses on Holiday Drive in New Orleans on Saturday, 6/4/22. I have to say that with the negative previous posts I was reluctant. I have to say that all experiences I've had were great. I scheduled my appointment only 1 day earlier for a Saturday due to my work and had no problems. The office e-mailed me a confirmation of the appointment and I was able to detail all the issues about my eyes and my information and I sent it back before my visit. I showed up 10 minutes before my appointment and was able to look at the glasses before my appointment. I first met with Dominique who was very informative in talking about my vision and her tests. I was then directed to Dr. Trahan who provided a few more vision tests and spoke to me in greater detail about my options. Lastly, I was directed to Vickie who actually helped me pick out my frames and all the options for lenses and what would help me see better for my job. All were extremely kind, respectful, helpful and extremely customer oriented. All were at their best and considerate of my time considering that they themselves were on the job on a Saturday morning. This was my first visit to an optometrist in over 20 years. I cannot understand some of the previous reviews as this was not my experience at all. I will be picking up my glasses within 2 weeks and I'm sure that I'll have little problem...

The team of James (Store Mgr), JoNica (Office Receptionist), and Trahan (Doctor) at Store 5227 in Algiers took excellent care of me and got me the glasses I needed at the price I could afford. They got me promptly in to start the exam at my scheduled time. The whole process took less than an hour which was a great surprise. Their care and concern for my needs above their own was exceptional and something not always found in business today. They will always earn my business!!

Such a great experience coming to this location! I recently traveled from Texas back to New Orleans to visit my parents and on the way driving down one of my contact lens started to irritate my eye. (So I snatched it out 😂) but I didn’t have an extra pair. So, I called American Best that was nearest me and from the start to the end of my visit, James as well as the doctor that did my exam/contact fitting both were accommodating and eager to help. I would definitely recommend. Thanks again

I went yesterday for an exam and to order contacts. The General Manager, James, was handling EVERYTHING (except the eye exam) because his team had called out. It was obviously a stressful situation, but he handled it with such kindness and grace. What could have been a frustrating experience for me as a customer ended up being a pleasant one all because of him. Thanks, James. I hope today is better!

At the Algiers location on Holiday Drive , Melinda is the Store Manager with 26 yrs.experience ! Melinda made my day ! 😊 She fixed all (3) problems with my glasses and I “Highly “ recommend You to see her also . She knows and understands her assignment as “The Manager” . The staff was AMAZING from the reception and appointment desk, to the techs helping us pay for our exams and glasses. They were patient and so willing to help in any way they could! Kimberly, Domonique, Monica and the entire team were OUTSTANDING. They even got us in the same day we reached out after being double booked at our usual eye doctor. (Won't name names 😒) If you want stellar service, go check these folks out. They are COVID-19 safe and enforce all safety procedures. Immensely pleased with my visit. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful service after unexpectedly losing my glasses on vacation. Very affordable without insurance, and the staff made sure I had at least one pair of glasses before driving home. MARY demonstrated exceptional customer service throughout my entire experience. Dr. Fisher was also very comprehensive and thorough with her exam, and explained that my previous strength was not a good fit for me. I would definitely recommend this store to others!
