While working on my parents house Saturday (2/27/21) I had fiberglass get in my eye. I called them almost immediately after, about 10:30 at night and left a message. First this Sunday morning the doctor called me back to set up a time for me to come in and examine my eye. Precision Eye Care has been mine and my family’s optometrist since 2016. The staff has always been wonderful to work with as well as informative when it comes to our eye health. Especially when we brought our daughter in for her first eye appointment when she was 2. I highly recommend them and will continue to have them be my provider for as long as possible.

Everyone is always pleasant and efficient, from the front desk to the assistants, the doctors and the opticians. They keep the place clean and clean each machine before you touch them. They are also very accommodating and go out of their way to fulfill your needs. My spouse and I both go to them and have recommended them to several people.

My contacts became uncomfortable... They re-examined my eye and refitted me and went out of their way to help me exchange what I had bought for a new brand. I appreciate them. Excellent place to come for your eyes to be checked for routine care for diabetes. They offer extras you can have done periodically, they say to check for eye conditions. We found precision eye care after moving to Nashville in 2013 and they are the best. It’s one of the only places that will still give you personalized care. The entire staff remembers us by name, even though we only come in a handful of times per year. I highly recommend becoming a patient with Dr. Amber, Dr. Ryan, and their amazing team. I took my two-year-old daughter in based on a referral from her doctor, after her two year check up revealed potential astigmatism. Dr. Amber was amazing. First of all we did not wait at all, second of all the staff members were amazing. And Dr. Amber was so good with her. My daughter does have a pretty significant astigmatism in both eyes and is farsighted, so she will need glasses. I very much look forward to seeing this doctor for years to come.

From the time my wife and I arrived for our appointment, all the staff were very courteous and professional. They got us checked in and back to the exam rooms right away. The doctor took her time and did a thorough exam on my eyes. She explained the results and all my options to see better on the computer which I use all day. They had a great supply of frames to choose from as well. I would recommend Precision to anyone needing eye care.

I always liked these doctors and the staff but they went above and beyond today. I was having an issue with my eye and was going to go to the walk-in clinic. While standing in line at the walk-in, I thought it couldn’t hurt to stop in at the eye doctor and just ask their opinion because they are right next door. I was informed at the front desk area that they were getting ready to go into an all-staff meeting but she was going to try to get me in today due to the nature of the issue I was experiencing. She went back and talked to the doctor and they decided to take a look at it while I was there. I was not expecting that at all. They may have been a few minutes late for their meeting, but they sure took care of me. That is the kind of care and service you get at Precision!

Saw Dr. Ryan Fritsch yesterday, May 26, 2020, just like I did the last few years. He is absolutely great. The eye examination is very detailed. For this year, he and his wife, Dr. Amber Fritsch (owners) purchased an additional piece of "expensive" equipment that sees in more detail the back of the eye. He takes plenty of time during the examination to take precise measurements so your eye prescription will be as accurate as possible. He also takes as much time as you may need to answer any questions you have about the examination he is conducting, his findings at each point, and about potential procedures you make need in the future. The office is clean, well designed, and looks brand new. You can also buy your glasses here if needed. I would just add that it is a good idea to shop around to compare prices before buying. I most definitely recommend this practice.

I was welcomed as soon as I entered with warm greetings and efficiency. The check in was quick and there was no delay in getting started. The exam was thorough and instructions were pleasant. Lily kept me informed each step of the way. Dr Ryan Fritsch’s exam was also very thorough and informative. He has a way of keeping the anxiety down with a sense of humor and calm manner. The complete exam and consultation was just under an hour and I was back on my way. I’ll see them next year for my annual visit. But should something happen in between I won’t hesitate to reach out to Dr Dr Fritsch and his team for eye care.

I received great care. I had a Saturday appointment which worked with my work schedule. The only downfall was I wish I was aware they were out of network with my insurance carrier. This was my 1st eye exam ever. I did call to see if they took my insurance and they said yes. I would have received much better insurance coverage if I went to an in network provider but I guess that’s my fault but I do believe they should have told me they were out of network when I called to ask.

After the service I had to go to a walk in clinic to get blood pressure medicine. It had been over three years since I had seen my regular doctor. I had a bad experience at Precision Eye Care, but they did the right thing and made it right. The VA(Triwest) set my appointment with Precision specifically for a contact lenses exam. I had Triwest confirm this before I accepted the appointment. I canceled my plans for the day and took the appointment. After the exam was over they tried to charge me for the exam. I explained to them that Triwest was paying for it, just as they had paid for all of my previous contact lenses exams since 2012. They told me that the VA initially approved the exam, but then called the day before and said they wouldn't pay for the exam. That's a lie. My problem is why would allow a patient to drive all the way there and sit through the entire exam without explaining that the contacts portion of the exam would not be covered. They waited until the entire exam was completely done to tell me this. So I wasted my day going to an appointment to get nothing out of it. ***Update to my review I received a voicemail from Precision Eye Care not long after posting my review. They called to explain what happened and admitted their mistake in not telling me before the exam. They also stated they would contact Triwest on Monday 7/2/18 to get payment for the exam, and if Triwest still refused to pay they(Precision Eye Care) would take care of the exam costs and give me my prescription. I believe them, but I will maintain my low review until I have received my prescription. ***On Monday 7/2/18 Precision Eye Care called and stated they cleared things with Triwest and that my contact exam is covered and they had already mailed me my prescription. As they stated they would, they made it right. I do recommend Precision Eye Care because many businesses would never admit their mistake or fault.
