I finally established care at an optometrist closer to home, and I couldn't have picked a better place to do it! The staff at Optique were very kind and knowledgeable, and Dr. Sonsino is a true master of her craft. I didn't purchase frames or lenses on this visit, but the technician out front was still very personable while helping me with my prescription paperwork. I probably won't NEED to go back for a while, but I'll be looking forward to the next time I do!

I had a great experience coming here for a contact lens exam. The whole process felt very efficient. Everyone was very nice and friendly, and they even helped me clarify some questions about my insurance coverage by calling my insurance company while I was there. The contact lens will also be delivered to me, so I don't have to come back to pick them up. I can see why they have such great reviews, and I'll be coming here for all my eye needs.

Every staff member I’ve interacted with for 13+ years has been professional, helpful, and added to the countless great experiences I’ve had at this establishment. I’m currently being treated for severe dry eye and for the first time in years my eyes don’t hurt 24/7. This review is long overdue and I can’t imagine going to another optometrist at this point.

Such a great experience! I have moved several times over the past few years, which has caused me to find new eye doctors in each new location. Throughout this, I have never found one that measures up to the doctor I went to for 18 years growing up, but Optique seems to have finally met their standards! The front of staff and techs are friendly, personable and efficient. I saw Dr. Van Dell and she was incredibly knowledgeable and patient when it came to finding my new prescription and the perfect contact lenses. She was also familiar with my insurance plan and explained benefits that were available to me that I was not aware of. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of an eye doctor! Each person I encountered at Optique was so helpful, patient, and kind (I hate eye exams and do everything I can to avoid them). However, going to Optique made the process easy and even enjoyable. This is why you get a real doctor to examine you once a year vs calling an 800 number or getting a prescription online. Dr Sonsino caught a blood vessel issue due to a high blood pressure problem I was unaware of. Staff was great and very professional too. Highly recommend!

So I’ve had difficulty with my eyes all of my life. I’ve had laser surgery to try to correct corneal issues related Keratoconus or pellucid marginal degeneration, and other related issues that does not allow me to be able to wear glasses anymore. As well regular contacts really don’t work. However I knew about these other lenses that Dr. Geoff suggested that they use in this practice but I have never had success in getting them in my eyes I was worried that they would not be comfortable. However I’m a walking testimony to what they can do here because I’ve had good contacts with good vision and No discomfort for a year now. They have great equipment if you have complicated issues with your eyes they can truly check and make sure that it’s doing and fitting as they are supposed to.

I avoided getting an eye exam for 5 years, but I finally visited Optique upon recommendation of a coworker. And I'm so glad I did! Dr. Sonsino and his staff made the process as easy and painless as possible. It was easy to schedule an appointment, and when I arrived for my appointment, I had no wait to see the doctor. Dr. Sonsino was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained each test that he was performing so that I wasn't freaked out or surprised. When it came time to pick frames for my new glasses, the staff was very helpful. The staff allowed me to try on as many frames as I wanted as many times as I wanted without rushing me. I will never go anywhere but Optique for eye exams and glasses!

The greatest staff and most complete exams ever. The entire team is much more friendly and helpful than at any "big box" location I visited in the past. They stand behind the products as I experienced when some lens were scratched and Gina explained their lens carried a 2 year guaranty and had new lens for me at no charge within a few days! At a competitor who I used to visit they charge for lens insurance and it is for a one year term. The prices are competitive and frame selection is broad for all price levels.

I have been going to Optique for years and never think of going anywhere else! The doctor: I absolutely trust Dr. Sonsino with my ocular care/needs. She educates her patients (which is an important quality in a doctor for me) and she does so without "dumbing it down" (which is also important to me). You can tell that she stays current with optometry not because she has to but because she cares about the field and her patients. My prescriptions (I wear both contacts and glasses) have always been accurate, I've never had to return for any adjustments or changes. Even though the business has grown over the years and she has more staff now, she still knows every aspect of her business right down to making appointments and insurance billing!! Just the other day I called and she answered the phone, you just don't find that in a lot of doctors that run a successful practice. The staff: It's so frustrating to find a great doctor but they have terrible staff….deal breaker! Or great staff and a terrible doctor….definitely a deal breaker! The Optique staff….amazing! They are professional and friendly. They have never made me feel like I need to hurry or that I am an inconvenience when I take a long time to pick out frames or if I want to pick something out then have them write down the frame information so I can think about it and come back later. They are prompt with returning calls. The facilities: Clean, great decor (stained concrete floors, metal chandelier with crystals, tufted upholstered seating), large and up to date frame selection, they have the latest and greatest in technology. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sonsino and the staff at Optique!

Over the last 20 years my husband has seen approximately 6 eye doctors. He found 1 that actually has him in glasses that he can see in - Dr. Jeffrey at Optique. Amazingly, he saw Dr. Jeffrey at Vanderbilt and when he went back for a follow up (as it was the only doctor that has ever met his eye needs), Dr. Jeffrey had relocated to his new practice, but they only said he was no longer there. Well, time went on and years later my eyes changed and ended up having a cornea transplant on my left eye and was on there verge of needing another for the right. More time went by and one day I lost the only contact I had and I realized I needed to find a doctor. My daughter was reading off names after searching online and she said his name and I yelled STOP!!! I said that was my doctor at Vanderbilt. So, called, on a Saturday at my wit's end and one of his staff answered and I explained my situation and, well, longer story shortened, Dr. Jeff saw me, remembered me, worked with me and today I am at a perfectly fitting lens with a very good vision an no talking about another transplant. I scheduled this appointment through Sightbox, a contacts subscription service that pays for your exam and contacts. I saw Dr. Michelle Soniso and she was friendly and attentive to my needs. I have a higher power + astigmatism prescription so It can be a little tricky to get the right prescription. Because of these reasons my trial lenses had to ordered. I'm fairly used to this so it was no big deal. They called once and I missed the call and voicemail letting me know that they came in. This was my fault but they made no attempts to call back over a two week period. When I called to check on the issue I sat on hold for 40 minutes, due to some "technical issues". I was then told it would be 2 more weeks before I could get my lenses because my doctor is out of office. Which sucks for someone who is already nearly out of contacts. In a multiple doctor practice, I don't understand why I need to wait multiple weeks. I've been to many different optometrists and ophthalmologists due to my eye issues so I know what to expect. Optique is nice enough, but I feel like they could have better customer service. Or at least I've been spoiled by other practices who have it figured out.

After years of unsatisfactory vision getting my eye exams done at chain stores, I decided I needed a more extensive exam for my vision health, rather than a 5-minute test just to get a new pair of cheap glasses. After quite a bit of research, I chose to try Optique, based on the fact Dr. Sonsino received training at excellent schools and is active in his field outside of his immediate practice (e.g., serving on committees and achieving designations above and beyond optometry schooling). I’m happy to report that not only is Dr. Sonsino incredibly competent, but he is also refreshingly professional and thorough; no 5-minute exam here! He and his team found an existing astigmatism that had never been caught before. My new prescription has significantly improved my vision and restored my ability to see clearly at night. While I came in to see Dr. Sonsino, I stayed to purchase frames and lenses because of Wade. He was not only incredibly patient as I tried on several different frames, but his suggestions were spot on. He has very good taste and cuts through a lot of trial and error by knowing what styles will look good. Wade is also a genuinely nice guy who really seems to care about his clients.
