The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a new eye mapping technology, that negates the need of pupil dilation. Taking this procedure once a year to track eye health as it shows images from behind the eyes. Very impressive. The Dr was very kind and informative on my eye issues, as I had Steven Johnson Syndrome, as a result I now have extremely dry and sensitive eyes. He recommended a useful dry eye kit, that I look forward to using. The eyeglass frames on the wall all look fashionable. The shop is in a convenient location. Highly recommend. 👍

Had a wonderful experience at Eyes on 45th today. Everyone was warm and very friendly. The eye exam was painless and with all their newer equipment it wasn't an experience where I would be scared to go back for an exam. Picking out glasses was even easier. With someone there helping me through the process and the explanation of what my insurance covered and the details of what I was paying for. Recommend this to anyone who doesn't like to get their eyes dilated or air blown into their eyes. I was so satisfied with my experience that I made an appt for the next year.

I was greeted with a smile, and checked in with no wait at all. Then sat down in the waiting area. I did show up 10-15 minutes early. I felt I was in the waiting area too long I think. But once I was asked to fallow to get started my appointment it went fairly quickly. Overall I had a good appointment. Thank you Dr. Tufty Eyes on 45th.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My Doctor Krystal Long gave me a top notch optometrical exam and listened to and answered all of my questions. She also was friendly and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. I will definitely stick with them for my eyeglass exams and glasses and I would recommend this establishment to anyone. I also brought my own frames which they measured for me without comment on bringing my own. I was informed about eye dilation versus eye mapping before my exam. The VA hospital here does that for me every two years so I chose the dilation. Apparently most insurances pay for dilation only so check your insurance before you go.

I did no research, I only went in because I lost my old glasses a few months back and noticed this place a few doors down from HuHot. I provided some basic info to place an appointment and received a call back to confirm and collect the rest of my info, most of which I didn't have on hand, but they found way to ask for what I could had and could provide. Showed up to my appointment, glided through the process, and found that while I'm apparently a quick learner when it comes to touching my eyes, I'd still prefer keeping my glasses. My *new* glasses, that is...

Dr. Long was great. Although this was an upsetting experience. I was informed not before my appointment, but at my appointment that they would need to dilate my eyes for an routine eye exam. BUT you do have another option, you can pay $40 for them to take a picture of the back of your eye, thereby avoiding the eye dilation. This is information that NEEDS to be shared pre-appointment. With peace and love this feels like an unprofessional cash grab.

He makes the information easy to understand and makes you feel like he’s known you for years and is very kind and hands down favorite eye doctor to see in Fargo. Front desk could be a little less rude but overall a great experience!! Recommend Eyes on 45th to anyone seeking a good place to go to!

Deb, Dr Tufte's wife, greeted me by name. She appeared cheerful & busy with customers & patients. There was some new staff from a year ago, but introduced themselves in a friendly greeting. The equipment is advanced & thorough with health of eye care. Dr Tufte, is always efficient, friendly & informative in his exam. The associates guide me in choosing & finding a fashionable & well fitting pair of glasses. I agree, at times, that their prices may be higher end. They do have sales & specials throughout the year. When my insurance changed, I was prepared to find a different optimaligist. I was grandfathered in much to my relief. When I choose to purchase my glasses elsewhere, I was given my Rx on the spot. I've returned to Dr Tufte's due to quality service.

Today he rechecked my prescription after some hiccups in new lenses and glasses - it was a smooth and quick process and he and his optician, Sarah, were more than accommodating. They helped fix my issues- even with glasses that didn’t come from their lab. I was extremely impressed with the attention to detail and patient care. Thank you!

Dr Tufte has been my eye doctor many years. He is very thorough and up to date. I am so glad I found him. Great assistant too. 2 years ago I wrote that. Went back 10/30/20. He gave me over the counter eye drops with a ridiculous price. Told him I had sore eyes, bcuz of where I worked. Dusty. Like now he could give me expensive OTC eye drops. He isn't even there full time anymore. And the receptionist is not friendly

Getting my exam at Eyes On Broadway was a very pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is attractive. Dr. Tufte does a thorough eye exam and carefully explains all the images that result from the exam. I have been a patient of Dr. Tufte since 1994 when he was associated with Merit Care now Sanford. I always get expert advice with the newest most advanced eye and retna detecting devices in the Fargo Moohead area. The office staff are expertly trained and are very friendly towards all customers. I would recommend Dr. Tufty for all your eye care needs including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and any eye disease,as well as day to day optical check ups for glasses and contact lenses. He has the equipment that is up-to-date that will immediately detect and help to assess any problems that you might be having associated with your eyes. His wife Deb also works for him as office manager and provides coffee, cookies, and fantastic homemade fudge that is always a treat each time I go. I have a optic nerve damage to my left eye and have to have it checked four times a year and he has the latest up-to-date scanning equipment in order to do this and compare the past to the present, I give Dr. Tufty my full trust in my eye care and have over 25 years. Took our middle schooler there as they could get us in quickly. Dr. Tufte did take time to explain certain things but I did feel he was bit rushed. They really pushed getting some test (for an extra fee not covered by insurance)on to view the back of the eye. The staff was very nice and accommodating although the lady at the front desk seemed a bit pushy and snooty...didn't want to give us the prescription to buy elsewhere. Prob won't go back.
