I called to ask some questions and to see if I could set up an appointment prior to coming and the lady who answered the phone was very sweet and patient. And I have to say that this is one of the most beautiful clinics i have every been to. The staff as well as Dr. Richey we're all very welcoming but also very professional. The tended to me very quickly, I waited for no more than two minutes and the examination was very thorough as well. Everybody was so kind and the place has such good energy and air to it. They also have so many options of beautiful eyewear to choose from, This will definitely be my go to location if I ever find myself needing to come back.

My 8 year old daughter was beginning to have difficulty seeing things clearly which was a sign she might need glasses or contacts. We had an easy time scheduling an appointment with Dr Richey and no wait for our appointment. Dr Richey was great with my daughter and she felt at ease. She was patient helping my daughter pick out a great frame for her new glasses, showing how to do contacts, and explaining the whole process. Having new insurance I researched a lot of eye doctors for my 2 boys age 7 and 5. My oldest has been in glasses since he was 3. I must say the 45 min drive was well worth it! The facility is so clean and up to date with equipment. All the staff was so nice and professional. They really care about each patient, no matter the age. My 7 year old says Dr. Richey is like a scientist, he’s so smart! My 5 year old had to get his eyes dilated they made the process so easy! He says Dr. Richey is SO nice. I visited Dr Richeys office for a vision check up, which I had not had done in a long time. I found the office to be very modern, clean and the staff welcoming. My appointment was on time and the office is well equipped with the latest equipment in Vision care evaluation. Dr Richey himself was friendly, welcoming and answered various questions I had. One thing that I especially like is the Office Portal, where you can see all your Rx and invoices and they are very communicative with text message and email updates, reminders etc. Overall a great first visit and a excellent practice

I want to start out and say this, I had called around to 2 or 3 other eye care clinics in the Sugar Land/Missouri City area and they would not take my appointment. I called in, the young lady at the front desk was extremely helpful, she verified my insurance and even offered me a same day appointment. The entire exam process was very easy, Monica was great she was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Monica understood that my eyes had not been checked in quite sometime and made sure I understood everything that was going on. Dr. Richey, was awesome! I thought I had an issue with just my near vision, but he also discovered that I have an issue with my distant vision as well. The staff at Advanced Family Eye Care was awesome!! Because I had 20/20 after the procedure, I skipped out on going to the eye doctor for a number of years. When I started noticing changes in my vision again, I decided to switch eye doctors and pay Dr. Richey a visit. I've had some great eye doctors, but Dr. Richey is simply the best. His continued investment in the latest medical technology makes the experience quick, easy, and best of all, pain free. No more drops. No more dilated eyes! Plus, with these precision instruments, he can help with not only keeping your eyes healthy, but also providing early detection that other doctor's may not have the advantage of diagnosing. I'm keen on doctors who keep up with the rapid changes in medical science. He, along with his staff, provide quality care and go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. I wish I had found them sooner! I also really like how their office makes a valiant effort to get you in to see the doctor AT your appointment time. Delays happen. That's understandable, but it's nice to see the doctor and the staff taking it upon themselves to set a higher level of customer care (unlike other medical offices) and doing whatever it takes to get you in and out in a timely manner. I have been wearing glasses since I was a kid and I have tried to wear contacts on three different occasions. We received excellent care here just doing routine exams and glasses selection. But what put them above & beyond other optometrists was when Sylvia came up with a creative solution to get my 17 year old son his new glasses. They lost a screw a week after he got them. My husband must have bent them trying to put the screw in so she returned them to the manufacturer. But they were on backorder for 15 days. I called on day 18 for the 2nd time, so Sylvia called and found out they were on overseas backorder 2-4 weeks! So she found the same frames in a slightly different color and put his lenses in those until the others were shipped, giving him the option to change the lenses to the new frames when they came in. But he decided to keep that pair. Instead of just putting us off with "I'm sorry, they're on back order", she got creative and gave us excellent customer service. Problem solved. We love Dr. Richey too! Thank you.
