The staff here were amazing! I had an issue with my glasses... I expected to drop them off and pick them up another day; this didn't happen--they got me in and out! We had a meaningful conversation. I highly recommend this location for anyone in need of optical services.

I never write reviews but I felt like I absolutely had too. I lost my glasses yesterday and called so many places to see if my prescription lenses were in stock. Finally I got a yes from Stanton Optical! I got off of work and drove over 30 minutes before they were supposed to close and I'm walking out with new glasses!! The staff was so helpful. 100% coming back here.

My glasses were a little disheveled with the pin loose. I went in there about two weeks ago on a Monday and the lady was so nice to fix it by using the utensils and screwing the screw more tight. Thanks again. I have bought my glasses from here before and will definitely do so again.

I can’t recommend this place enough. My boyfriend was in a horrible car crash and unable to wake up until today. He came back able to open his eyes and speak but could not see without his glasses which were crushed in the crash. I drove here immediately while he rests and they are producing the glasses right now for him. In just another half hour I will be back by his side with him able to see me. My boyfriend decided today was the day he was going to finally go get an eye exam & an updated prescription! Well overdue. He made an appointment online - we were able to get in right away. Upon arrival, we were quickly seen & his exam went smoothly. Once the exam was over, the two of us had quite a fun time trying on glasses for him. While we were enjoying "dress up" with glasses, a wonderful young gentleman named Carlos offered his help (along with another woman who was doing her best to find another pair for my bf!). He let us enjoy our time there until my boyfriend finally decided on his 2 pairs. Carlos was very friendly & attentive without being pushy or aggressive. He answered any questions & engaged in friendly banter. The location was clean & had a decent selection of glasses. I was happy to hear they clean the glasses for try on regularly. Overall, our time spent here was very pleasant. It made an "adulting" chore not be so "chore-like". Thanks Carlos for your time today!

Due to unforeseen circumstances my daughter missed her eye appointment that we waited 6 weeks for. My mom suggested I give Stanton Optical a call. I’m so glad I did they got her in right away and the customer service was incredible. My daughter is 11 years old and I allowed her to get her first pair of contacts they were so patient while teaching her what to do. They didn’t accept her insurance but the fees were so reasonable that even that didn’t bother me.

They have Cazal yall. Discovered this lil gem in an ER...after my 3y/o niece somehow managed to grab my glasses & through them out the window! Found Stanton nearby & they took care of me! They found discounts that cut price in 1/2.. 6wks later, a hard fall broke the spring arm….KEVIN@Stanton on S.108th worked so hard to replace missing pin ...and did a FANTASTIC job. I was greeted by Susan when I went for my eye exam. Marlene did the exam and they both did amazing. With just the two of them there they did their very best to help everyone. Even with a rude customer there that was not satisfied because it wasn’t up to her standards. Susan handled her very well and tried her best to help her. I got to sit down with Susan after she dealt with that customer and was completely satisfied with my visit!! 10/10 would recommend

I was nothing but impressed with Stanton Optical in West Allis! I came into the clinic looking to get glasses made the same day as I had just found out that I needed urgent surgery and couldn’t wear contacts during my hospital stay. The clinic was very clean, easily accessible for me with my walker, and had plenty of room to move around within the clinic. Kayla was so professional during my testing and Susan walked me through purchasing my glasses- buy one get one free!, explained all of my options, went out and above to make sure I was able to walk out with glasses for my hospital stay. Kayla not only got them done in record time but they looked amazing. (I have really bad vision requiring very thick lenses and Kayla cut and beveled the edges of my lenses so the didn’t appear so thick) I will definitely be recommending this clinic to friends and family!

Very clean, the PCT Kristen was great, very nice and thorough with explaining everything she was doing and how to find the best brand of contacts. Then on the retail side I worked with Carlos who was extremely helpful, he helped me find the perfect pairs of glasses to fit my face even though I’m super picky, he also was very thorough when explaining contact care and the billing with my insurance, he also double checked to make sure I was getting the best deal! My husband and I were visiting our daughter for the weekend. She had appointments made for herself and her 2 teenage children to get eye exams and new glasses at Stanton Optical in West Allis, WI. We went along as we thought it would be fun to help the 3 of them to pick out new frames. We were really surprised at the vast number of frames that were available for purchase. I've worn glasses for the past 60 years and I have never seen more options available. Susan did a fantastic job helping our daughter and our 2 grandkids getting their glasses all ordered. We then realized that Stanton Optical had a sale going where you could get 2 pair of glasses for the price of 1 pair. That was when my husband also became Susan's customer at Stanton Optical. He had gotten a brand new pair of glasses from another national optical service about 5 weeks earlier, but he lost them about 1 week later. For 4 weeks we searched and searched for his glasses but we could not find them. The cost for those glasses was $500.00 + which is why we hadn't re-ordered them yet. So I asked Susan if I called the other optical store to get his prescription faxed to Stanton Optical right away would we be able to order his new glasses through her? She said absolutely. So now we had the advantage to not only get just 1 pair of glasses for my husband, but he could get the second pair free! And the absolutely best part of the whole deal was that his cost for 2 pair of glasses was HALF the price of his previous purchase from the other optical store. And yes, you read that correctly, his cost for 2 pair of glasses from Stanton Optical was HALF the price of his previous 1 pair of lost glasses We were floored. We had come in to help our daughter and grandkids pick out new frames, and we ended up having those 3 plus Susan helping pick out 2 new frames for grandpa!!! I know this is a rather long review for Stanton Optical in West Allis WI, but I want you to know that we live 3 & 1/2 hours drive north of West Allis and because of our visit with grandkids and daughter's visit we were now able to get not only fantastic customer service, but my husband now has 2 pair of glasses for half the price of his previous purchase. You CANNOT do better anyplace else. I highly recommend Susan and Stanton Optical. They definitely provided what my husband needed, right when we needed them. Give them a try. You won't be sorry.

The techs at this store were amazing. And it was my first experience with Refractive Services remote eye exam. It felt space age and yet very personalized. My glasses were done in an hour. Sunglasses get sent out, so those will be back in two weeks. Overall a really super great exam and experience. Thank you!

I highly recommended the warranty for glasses. After my dog chewed both my pair of glasses I took them in to the store and was provided excellent service by I think her name was Astrid (my apologies if I misspelled your name). The process was seamless and I cannot recommend enough the warranty for your glasses. I was not a customer of Stanton Optical but had issues with my new frames fitting properly. I called Stanton and was told to come right in. Manager, Susan Leonard, helped fit my new frames and made needed adjustments. Even though I was not a customer Susan treated me as if I was. From now on I’m taking my business to Stanton. And, the adjustment was free!

This is an update: I had my exam and got my glasses and sunglasses. They messed up to my benefit and sent my sunglasses clear so they told me to keep them for extras and reordered my sunglasses. I broke my regular glasses and they fixed them right away. (I stepped on them after my husband told me to move them before I step on them). Since then my daughter went and every employee took time to help the little diva find the perfect glasses and my husband even came home with glasses and sunglasses. Some can be made on site and some need to be sent out so prepare to wait two weeks in case they need to be sent out. But well worth it. ————————————————————————————— I just made my appointment and they have a call center. Julio(sp?) was very friendly and took care of scheduling me. It was a quick process, but make sure you know the location can suit your needs because not all of them have an in house doctor and the call center doesn’t always know the hours of the doctor. Because I need a more comprehensive exam and I also have issues that need a doctor, I made sure to talk to someone at the location and found out I needed to go to a location a bit further from my house for the exam. So after calling back to speak to someone at that location, I found out the doctor was not in for the time I scheduled and had to reschedule which was fine because I didn’t expect them to get me in so quickly anyway. The staff at both locations was friendly and let me ask all of my questions and made sure to note my concerns so the doctor will have that info before I walk in. I will update this.

Not matter what time a day, the ladies, at Staton Optical are a winning unit and on top of their game! I've stopped in several times to say "hello" and looking for a eye glass adjustment. I went to Stanton Optical in West allis, Wi and was very pleased with the service that I received. I was there a couple of months ago and didn’t listen to the Doctor’s recommendations. I now know that the Doctor was correct in wanting me to get anti glare, which I didn’t get at first, but now I went back to get it and Susan was very helpful with me. I also didn’t get get a couple other things that the Doctor recommended at first, but I did now. Susan worked with me to get the lowest price and now I have everything that I need to see better. If I could give anyone any advice, it would be to listen to the Doctor’s recommendations immediately and not be stubborn like I was. I would definitely go back without hesitation. Kayla was awesome and tended to every need I had and even showed me a pair of glasses she thought would look great on me. Broke my glasses and couldn’t see my regular doctor till July, decided to check out Stanton. Got to be seen right away, opted for refractive service(virtual doctor) and picked out my frame. Great location! Everything is current and up to date. You know you are getting the best. When I called ahead I asked if my insurance was taken they said they take all major insurances. During the time I filled out my demographic paperwork they were able to tell me about my insurance benefits which was very consistent with other places. After collecting my information they did all the machine tests. They have the technology to ensure you do not need your eyes dilated! The person that ran the tests was nice and made sure everything was clean. During the eye exam I had a digital doctor!!!! She was working remotely to control my eye exam. She was easy to understand and was on screen the full time. Which was way cool. I knew she was the best and she was focused on me. She explained things better than any eye doctor I have ever had before. Never did she seem complacent. It was nice that she was not bumping a machine around on my face. If I needed see something again it was just fine. Finally, I purchased eye glasses and contacts that was a very smooth transaction. I went here because I was annoyed by a different local place and and I am glad I made the change

My experience at Stanton Optical was a positive one. It appeared to be a busy morning, so there was a bit of waiting involved. However, the manager, Susan, was great! She answered all my questions professionally and courteously. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I spent more than I had anticipated -- that may be my fault, though!

She was patient and diligently answered all of our questions I would definitely recommend this place! My daughter and husband both left happy with the service they received. Thank you! Needed to add this one thing that happened. So when we picked up our glasses on the following Monday my husband's glasses were incorrect so a woman there helped us find the correct prescription. She said she'd call us the next day about getting the correct prescription but she never did. 5 days letter I call and get a young man JT. I explained to him what happened, and he followed through with correcting of glasses and was very nice helpful and apologetic. He apologized for another person that didn't bother to follow through, and made me sure we left happy. We got there and the lady that did nothing was there, didn't even apologize I thought that was rude. But in the end we're happy with JT. THANK YOU YOUNG MAN FOR BEING AWESOME!

I'm like most people in that I mostly only rate companies when I'm unhappy but the service I received here was excellent and just had to write a review. I was in shortly after they opened and the staff was courteous and friendly. I was a little apprehensive about not having a doctor in the room during the exam but once the lights are off and they're flipping the different lenses for me to tell them which is better, there's absolutely no difference whether the doctor is physically in the room or remote. In fact it's a neat system and would seem to save money not having to pay a doctor to be present when there are no patients. I have difficult eyes as I've had multiple surgeries in the past but they filled my prescription perfectly. Because I needed bifocals and my eyes are so difficult, I knew I couldn't get my glasses right away but I received an automated call as soon as my glasses were ready for pick up. I was so happy with the quality of service and my glasses that I came back two weeks ago and ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses. The experience was the same the first time and I'll keep coming back in the future. The staff there really cares and will do whatever they have to to make sure I'm satisfied.

Extraordinary customer service! I had cataract surgery on both eyes. While the eyes heal I need a prescription for astigmatism and for reading. I needed the glasses right away as I could not use my old glasses and could not go without and still do my job. While I needed bifocals, that would take 14 to 21 days, so we agreed to do two (2) pair, one for distance/ astigmatism and another for readers. Susan understood my problem and helped me get both pair. Then, a week later my prescription changed as expected during the healing process. I took the new prescription in and they were able to get the new lenses done within an hour. Still in the healing process and will need to go back again after I get my final prescription and order bifocals, but so far the customer service has been exceptional.

First time through last year was terrible. Was given glasses without even trying them on. I had to ask if i can look at something to see how they work. Struggled all year. Fast forward to recently. I was giving Stanton one last chance to make things right, even if i had to pay a portion because it had been almost a year. Susan sat down with me and took responsibility on behalf of Stanton. She recognized the frustration i was having. I was given glasses that were not properly measured. I'm 6'2" and the person who was marking my glasses to see where my eyes were was like 5' tall?? First mistake. Susan took my glasses in back and marked them and had me put them on and could see that it was way off. Long story short, Susan stepped up and took responsibility without trying to pass the buck. She had me do a eye exam again and ordered me updated, properly measured glasses. Thought I just needed reading glasses that were better than the dollar store kind. Went in thinking I knew what I needed, got the exam and they made reading glasses for me. However, after getting the new glasses and sitting at my computer (which is where I really need them) I realized reading glasses at my now correct reading prescription were not going to work. I called Stanton and fortunately my 2nd pair was not done yet. I worked with J.T. and he said he will make the 2nd pair differently. I went in to try those out and still not quite right. Worked with Susan (store manager) who did another little test and had them re-made again. The glasses work great now for what I need. Long story short, even though they originally gave me what I thought I needed, when I realized I was wrong and needed something different they re-made my glasses at no charge. I was very happy with my experience at Stanton.

Took a prescription in to have sun glasses made. I was told 3 to 4 weeks for them to be ready. The day before I was expecting delivery I was told there was a scratch in one of the lenses. I asked if they could put a rush on them as I needed them badly. I was told it would take another 3 to 4 weeks. I finally got my glasses in late November 3 and a half weeks after they were first due. Quality is excellent, but delivery time is horrendous! If you don't need glasses in a hurry then they are ok.

I just can't thank Michelle, Matt, Xaiver and Matthew from the lab at Stanton Optical. My daughter was having headaches from inaccurate perscription she had received from Americans Best in Greenfield. Even though american best was willing to re examine my daughters eye site and found the area it was going to take 14 days to get replacement glasses. So in order to reduce the severe headaches my daughter was experiencing i stop at Stanton optical and they were able to provide her with glasses with about 15 minutes per the new prescriptions and were willing to work with me on the price of the glasses. Just a top notch group of people working at this facility!
