Excellent staff, great store! I'd gone here to simply get fitted for a new pair of glasses (had the exam elsewhere). The selection here is a bit overwhelming but with the expertise and assistance from Ace Optician JoAnn Hurle she quickly chose the perfect match for me. JoAnn has a gift for this and I highly recommend her to help choose the best match for you. This is a roomy, quiet store. Locating it from the road can be a challenge the first time. No handicap parking spaces close by.

Dropped by and was able to get a timely appointment scheduled. Very little wait when I arrived. Staff was welcoming and efficient. Took a little longer than they said for my glasses to arrive, but not a bad wait. Again, walked in, they made sure they were fitted properly and that I could read with them! Very happy with my experience!

The doctor and staff were amazing! I had a sudden vision problem that was very hard for me to explain, the doctor listened and made me feel at ease try to explain the complicated sounding symptoms I was suddenly experiencing. Turns out I just needed glasses for astigmatism, webmd made it sound like I had two weeks to live! They were able to help all in one visit and the price was very reasonable. It could not have been a better experience. Thanks again!

My family and I have been a patient here for several years. The service from check in to Doctor, to selecting eyeware, is great. I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes from my appointment time. There is a good selection of frames, and Joanne will work with you on your frame allowance/insurance to ensure that you're not paying more out of pocket than need be. She also gives good information on warranty length for frames and lenses.

Dr. Rabaut was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. She took the time to chat with me and answer my questions and didn't seem to be in a rush like I've experienced elsewhere. She was clearly interested in coming up with solutions that worked for my life. They have a machine that takes pictures of the inside of your eyes (in lieu of dilation drops) and she showed them to me and went over what she saw. The staff were also helpful in assisting me with picking out frames and working within my budget and my insurance coverage. I will definitely be going back and recommending this location to others.

Dr. Rabaut is fantastic. I have been to multiple optometrists and ophthalmologists over the last couple of years to try and get my dry eye problem solved (or at least relieved) to no avail. She is extremely thorough and listens to everything you have to say about your issues or concerns. You can tell she actually cares about your problems and does not rush for time. I cannot recommend her enough.

I was hesitant about going to Dr. Rabaut for a routine eye exam during a pandemic but my fears were immediately alleviated when I walked in the door. My temperature was checked, everyone was wearing a mask, and they were actively cleaning. Such a pleasure to go to a professional, friendly office. Everyone is great.

My appointment was at 4:30 and I was a few minutes late. As soon as I signed in they took me back and did my eye exam. Once I found my frames Rachal helped me check out. I will not go anywhere else now. It was much better then Vison World. Very friendly staff. I was in and out in less than an hour.

I am in the healthcare industry and have the opportunity to work with a lot of healthcare providers and their office staff. Living on the east end of Louisville I was tired of always having to drive downtown for eye care and wanted something closer. So, how does this group stack up???? Office - Clean, organized, plenty of room (+10), no candy dish with my favorite candy (-1/2) Receptionist - Prompt, courteous, and informative (+10) Person obtaining my history and performing initial exams - Pleasant, funny, enjoyable, instilled confidence in me regarding her abilities (+20) Dr. Wilder - Timely, pleasant, informative and he took the time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions (+60) All together this group scored a 99.5 (no candy). A great overall experience and I will recommend them to anyone looking for quality eye care without having to drive downtown.
