Helped me come to grips with my double vision. His professional training allowed me to assist me in this critical area and he knows a lot more than that about issues with the eyes. So, he does a great professional exam using the most up to date equipment to put me in the best lens for me and resolve my special issue. Everything one wants in their eye guy!!!!

Dr. Schwartz was fabulous. Provided a very thorough exam with an explanation of all results. The resulting prescription significantly improved the current pair of glasses I was wearing from two years ago, which I do not think were ever 100% correct to begin with. Dr. Schwartz makes sure you are completely satisfied with your final prescription. He's the best! The entire office experience is great!

I'd highly recommend Dr. Schwartz Family Vision Practice. His practice is located at the Costco on Norton Healthcare Blvd. Dr. Schwartz carefully examined my eyes & was very forthcoming about my eye health as it stood and going forward. I really appreciated how he took the time to explain his assessment in detail, listened attentively to my concerns, and answered my questions fully. I will definitely return when it's time for my next check up and I'm also likely to make an appointment for my mother who has Alzheimer. If he's able to see such patients, based on my own experience I trust his level of care. I'd also like to add that the front desk receptionist was very kind and professional. During the times I visited, they seemed to get a little busy. I was impressed with how well she handled the busyness and Dr. Schwartz jumped in and helped too when necessary. Quality customer service should always be paramount and never forgotten and they demonstrated this importance.

Dr. Schwartz noticed that the receptionist and other staff were not on the sales floor and he came out of his examining room to offer help. I was given an appointment within 30 minutes and I was very pleased with Dr. Schwartz's knowledge and professionalism. This is my second time doing a routine exam at this practice. I will keep coming back. The office is small, tidy, and the service is quick. (Not that i felt rushed, but I was able to get in and out on my lunch break, which is great.) As a Costco member I had the added benefit of being able to walk right into the store and order my contacts to be shipped to my house. That's an awesome perk! My first visit was also my first time trying contacts. They scheduled me for a longer visit and were very patient in teaching me how to put contacts in. They also gave me samples of different brands so i could figure out what contacts I needed to buy. Updating my Rx this time was very smooth and easy.

Dr. Schwartz was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I saw him for an eye exam for glasses and for new contacts. I often get dry eyes when I wear contacts and he suggested a few different contact types that might help eliminate the problem. He let me try samples and see what felt best to me. Since my visit with him, I haven't had any troubles with dry eyes when I wear my contacts. It was really an all around good experience. I definitely recommend him!

My fiance works at Costco, so he booked us both appointments to have our eyes checked. They were able to get us both in back to back and we spent less than an hour having our exams!! They use a different retinal imaging technique which does not require dilation drugs, which has always been my least favorite part of eye exams! At Louisville Family Vision, your exam is quick and painless and non-invasive, the staff are kind and the doctor is thorough and answered any and all questions we had. Great job, guys, keep up the amazing work!

I had a WONDERFUL experience here. Dr. Schwartz really took his time with me and I felt it was the BEST vision exam I have ever had. He 'tweaked' my prescription and my new glasses are WAYYY better than my past prescriptions, even when they were new. No dilation either, a machine that takes a photo of the back of your eye and Dr puts it up on a large screen and goes over it with you. I WILL FOR SURE be going back to Dr. Schwartz.

You can go next door to Costco when finished and get the best deal in Louisville on complete glasses that are ready in just days. If you prefer you could use the prescription at any provider if you think you can get a better deal on glasses. I could not be happier.

Great level of professionalism and customer service. Do understand that he runs 30 minute appointments and remains courteous to patients before and after you. I've been taking my kids to Dr. Schwartz for the last two years. I have a high strung 5 yr old red head that can be temperamental. Dr. Schwartz's patience and calm demeanor is such a delight when trying to get him to cooperate that we it only takes a few times to get him to listen. He is fantastic when it comes to handling children.

Before I found Dr. Schwartz at Louisville Family Vision about six years ago I had a pervasive sense that the relentless tedium of the job had either numbed all those interchangeable optometrists at the big chains into glazed indifference or fueled a smoldering resentment of the career choice that required them to endlessly mutter, "...number one? Or number two?", until the time came for their disappointed spouses to plant them in the red clay of Resthaven. Dr. Schwartz is not one of them. He will see you promptly at your appointed time and will tell you more about your specific eyes than you knew. He is thorough, answers questions and explains thing well. He uses state of the art equipment that eliminates the need for those eye drops that sent me into the sun shrieking like a vampire at dawn's light. His fees are very competitive. They will hand you your prescription without having to ask for it, and there are glasses are right inside the door in Costco.
