Dr. Finch and the staff in the back did a wonderful job and were very helpful ! They took time to answer any questions I had and explained everything thoroughly. I mainly dealt with the same person at the front desk before and after my visit w the Doc. However I had to ask if they had the special glasses to wear after my eye dilation, as no one had offered them to me. Still majority of the staff and Doc Finch are definitely worth coming here for. 9/10

Dr Howard Lazarus is the Best Dr. in the Building, another Dr. did an eye surgery on my son and lost his eye site. But then we went to Dr. Lazarus for the other eye and he is doing great!! Didn’t have much of a wait. Assistant (don’t know title) performed all the necessary tests ahead of seeing Dr Finch. I was moved to where her offices are and got another pre visit by Dr Finches associate. Shortly afterwards she came in to check how my eyes were doing. All of them were very thorough and quickly performed their tasks. I have been going to them for several years and have been happy with their services.

I have been a patient for years there and generally pleased with everyone I have dealt with.Three years ago I had cataract surgery and have been assigned to Dr. Piracha's associates (optometrists) for follow up care . Even though his associates were very caring, and seemed knowledgable, I still have some problems that I wanted to discuss with my surgeon. Twice I have asked to see my surgeon concerning these problems and they tell me that Dr. Piracha, my surgeon will only see patients needing surgery. I have developed a new problem now and do get to see Dr. Piracha for a laser procedure. Anxious to talk to him about a few things.

True professionals. My eye surgery was done right the first time. I really liked that I saw another eye surgeon for follow up other than the one who did my surgery the day before. Also, instructions for administering eye drops were outlined on a simple chart that I didn't have to interpret or figure out. What can I say about Dr. Piracha and his team and the John Kenyon network? Best pros known around here!

Excellent medical practice staffed by competent, friendly professionals. Dr. Lazarus is a top-notch, widely-respected ophthalmologist. Update: Had cataract surgery on left eye by Dr Paracha who was highly recommended by several people including my mother-in-law. The John-Kenyon surgical center in New Albany, Indiana is exceptionally well run. The surgery was successful, Dr Paracha was professional and courteous, and having right cataract surgery in July. NB: The regular appointments can be tiresome bc of the number of patients; however, it’s worth it if Drs Lazarus and Paracha can improve my quality of life and ultimately save my eyesight. Update #2: Excellent medical care; however, pack a lunch when you come in for an appointment. It is not uncommon to wait 2 hours after your arrival to be seen. Pretty infuriating tbh.

Had my cataract surgery in Feb. and was very nervous because I have had RK twice in my eyes and was not sure how the outcome would be. The result were phenomenal! Dr. Piracha did an excellent job, I would highly, highly recommended him to anyone who is considering cataract surgery who has had RK in the past. I have come to realize after talking with other people who’ve had similar surgeries that all the big eye centers are basically eye factories—they have it down to a fine art, but your just one more set of eyes to make money. John-Kenyon was certainly efficient. Dr, Finch is the first person I’ve seen post-op who treated me as more than just a pair of eyes. I did like her and feel like she will help to get me to better vision. I’d have to preferred to seen Dr Piracha for all my post op appts over the last 9 months but evidentially that’s not the way the system works.

Professional and thorough, but the sense of urgency is so low. An appointment that should only take about 25 mins always drags on to an hour or more due to just waiting. Also, the staff is not very personable

Good overall check up revealed some issues from not being to eye dr. in 3 years because of Covid. I have very dry eyes and was given a new RX for Xiidra 5% which was faxed to my Walgreens on Lime Kiln Ln. 1 little issue it costs $707.90 for 1 little bottle even using GoodRX. Was told dr. could of given me a sample to use first. Went on line and got a Xiidra savings card that can have $0 co-pay for up to 90 day supply. 1 little issue they won't allow anyone on Medicare to use. Only for people with commercial insurance? I have Aetna as secondary insurance. Walgreens said would look into it but they are extremely busy with covid and flu shots right now. Dr. was not aware of the price??
