Dr. Helen Dashti is a terrific doctor. I've been wearing glasses for around 40 years, and she's the best eye doctor I've ever had. I can tell she's really thinking things through during the examination, whereas others I've seen just seem to go through the motions. I will continue to get my eyes examined here as long as she is still practicing at this location.

Honestly the best eye exam I’ve ever had! The entire experience from scheduling an appointment to the actual exam was quick and easy. I love that my eyes didn’t have to be dilated. The Octomap and the OCT screening were really neat! As soon as I left I contacted my family and let them know how well everything went.

My appointment today came after a year of frustration with my vision. Hours upon hours of computer time and curbing my night time driving because of the glare has really been hard this year. After talking with the doctor about my eyes and my lifestyle I really felt “heard” and not rushed. I’ve always gotten great attention at this office but this time seemed quite different. I always enjoy this doctor, but I did not give 5 starts because I was hit with a surprise bill when I left. I knew I had a copay of $10, but had to pay $39 more out of pocket because of an eye picture they took? I was not told ahead of time I had to pay anything out of pocket, nor given the opportunity to opt out. Never signed anything agreeing to it. The woman told me it's to keep from having to dilate my eyes, however I have been going there for years and have never had to get my eyes dilated, nor pay anything out of pocket for a "picture". She told me insurance won't cover it...then why am I needing it for a routine eye exam? I would have opted out, and kept my $39.

I had an awesome experience here. It seems they have hired new people since older reviews mentioned rude staff- everyone i encountered was super nice and even accommodated my very late arrival with no problem (Catalina mainly helped me up front but the other ladies i spoke with were nice too).. They were actually really nice about it where as other doctors offices i have been to typically act like you are a bother for that kind of thing. Even if they hadn't been able to see me being i was so late i wouldn't have been mad, i understand it can mess up their schedule but tone/attitude is everything and it seems they care here to make sure everyone is treated with kindness and understanding. I also didn't have my insurance card (i was pretty embarrased for my over all unpreparedness) and still again, a kind demeanor from everyone. I have trouble/anxiety about making myself actually go to doctors appointments as it is so the front desk experience is just as important to me as the actual exam. I'll also include the exam itself was a good experience and Dr Snipes was very kind and welcomed all my questions and concerns and answered them thoroughly. Thanks guys!
