Best experience EVER! Great doctors and staff. No rushing you through. Very, very informative and the results from deep cleaning my eyelids, the OptiLight, and Tear Care procedures have been absolutely amazing. Dr. Silani and his practice are outstanding. I wish I could find a Silani for every condition I care about! He is clearly at the bleeding edge of all techniques and science and technologies in the dry eye space. He speaks at conferences about dry eye and advises device companies that treat the issue. He's made a great name for himself already but I bet he's got even further still to go. His space is packed full of treatment and diagnostic devices I’ve not seen at any other clinic. I’ve been to five (!) doctors about dry eye. None of them come close. He clearly loves his work and cares about the problem he’s trying to help his patients and the world with. His bedside manner is exceptional. His staff are all wonderful. I never write reviews but if ever and person and a business deserve one it’s Silani and his practice. Update after my visit today: Got a mega treatment of meibomian gland probing, IPL, Blephex, and iLux, all in one smooth session. The level of care was exceptional as always, I enjoyed some laughs with Dr. Silani that made it all a lot easier, and my eyelids are actually feeling better already.

I hadn't had my eyes checked in 6 years and he did both computer/tech check up and a manual. He showed me how to put on my contacts and he even gave me the contact info for his dentist. Loved. Everyone at this center was so kind, warm and caring. And they have all the modern equipments which is always a plus. I do spend lots of time on the computer and get some occasional eye fatigue. I opted for the dry eye imaging and Dr Younany recommended some custom eye care products. LONG REVIEW I was diagnosed with MGD maybe 4 or 5 years ago. At the time I was left with little to no help/relief other then hot compresses. I continued to suffer with my dry eyes for years until I recently saw ads for new dry eye drops and that is what got me interested in looking for help again. I found Dr Silani in my search and I'm so happy that I did. At my first appointment I had some tests run and could clearly see that my prior diagnosis was correct. These were new and much more advanced tests than I had done years earlier. It was reassuring to plainly see that my dry eyes were not something I was exaggerating and there was a genuine, definable and quantifiable problem. *I will write this next part honestly so you know what to expect (I was a little taking a back).* After reviewing my test results with the Dr I was presented with treatment options and pricing. While I had come in initially for drops the Dr made it clear that at this office they prefer to treat the underlying issue (using various treatments) and not just mask the symptoms (using the drops). The drops were still an option but more of a last resort. At this point I could tell something was a little different. The treatments that were suggested (Lumenis IPL and BlephEx) were not covered by insurance, however the drop option was. This raised some flags for me. On the paperwork with my treatment options were also payment options. It began to feel more similar to a medspa type of situation than a medical Dr's office- there were bundled payment packages. Ie 1 treatment for this price or 4 treatments for that price. This made me a little uneasy and I decided I needed to do a little research before I committed to moving forward. After leaving the office that's what I did and found that the treatments are real, beneficial, competitively priced and indeed not covered by insurance. I think it's important to know these things before your visit so you're not caught off guard. I decided that it was worth a try and I'm so glad I did! I will tell you now that the treatments are not cheap! However in my case, with my results, worth every penny. I would recommend Dr Silani and these treatments to anyone who has a similar diagnosis. It has helped me tremendously. Also Dr Salini is a great guy: easy to get along with, knowledgeable, and makes you feel very at ease while in the office. And as far as my dry eyes I'm using little to no moisturizing drops (used to use 10+x a day), my eyes are clear and bright, and my relief is incredible. I would recommend making an appointment to anyone who has dry eye, MGD, issues and seeing what the Dr has to offer and if it could help you as much as it has me. 10/10 would recommend!

Always an amazing experience with Drs Y and Silani! Dr Y will perform my annual eye exams while Dr S takes care of my dry eye treatments. The biologic eye drop, Regen, is small but so effective. I prefer the holistic approach they have and prefer not using medications from the pharmacy. Also, big shoutout to Neda and Brandi for their great customer service!!

From the first phone call confirming my appointment all the way up until the end of my first visit, every single person I encountered- including and especially Dr. Silani- was warm, kind, courteous, professional, and caring. I've had innumerable eye issues over the years and have finally been 'seen' (no pun intended) by a doctor who knows exactly what is going on with my eyes. In addition to the aforementioned descriptors, Dr. Silani also truly took the time to inform me in a kind, thorough way, not rushing through the treatment and walking me through the steps I'd need to take to maintain and care for my eye. Even with Covid guardrails (limited patients, waiting for equipment to be sterilized/sanitized between patients, etc) I never felt rushed or not taken care of. I’ve seen countless doctors and been to 3 different clinics for dry eye but this one is BY FAR the best. Not only does Dr. Silani have the latest dry eye technology, but he walks you through the entire testing and diagnosis process so you can see what images and values they are looking at. As someone who reads a lot of scientific literature on dry eye, it was refreshing to hear Dr. Silani quote a lot of the articles I have read about, which really showed that he stays up to date on the latest treatments and studies. After having the iLux, ZEST, and 1 IPL treatment I saw a 75-80% improvement in my symptoms after around 2 weeks. Going in for my monthly IPL treatments are so much fun and honesty feels like visiting a friend to catch up and chat. The staff are also SO kind and really know how to run an efficient clinic. Not even comparable to some other clinics I’ve been to where waits can be upwards of 2 hours with an appointment!! As a software engineer I am so thankful to have my career and my life back and am looking forward to my last 2 IPL treatments. If ur also struggling with dry eye, COME HERE! It will be worth it I promise.

Five stars for Dr. Younany who was great! Very patient with my struggle to figure out what is wrong with my eyes. I was sent there by another eye doctor to see Dr. Silani but he handed me over to Younany. Silani was overbooked and, as I was wrapping up my exam with Younany, he rudely barged into the exam room and turned on the lights. From the beginning of my appointment he seemed to be rushing around. Beware . . . if you need to spend time with a doctor, don't go here.

I truly appreciate Dr. Silani and I can’t thank him enough for truly saving my eyes from eternal redness and a sea of useless drops. My eyes were constantly painful, red, irritated, gooey, crusty, itchy, gritty and tired. I’d been going in circles with my previous eye doc who kept prescribing different (expensive) eye drops to help soothe what he diagnosed as “just eye allergies”. I’ve had seasonal allergies, but never so bad to affect my eyesight before. I stopped wearing any eye makeup, foundation and moisturizers near my eyes because every product (including hypoallergenic & sensitive skin specific brands) made them start watering, turn red and burn for days after. I always felt like I had something stuck in my eye and my eyelashes became brittle and started falling out. I’d been in constant pain and equally frustrated thinking this was all part of living with some unknown eye allergy. Dr. Silani told me that I have ocular rosacea and have only been aware of the painful side effects of that condition- recurring blepharitis, pain & red swollen eyes. Dr. Silani took the time to listen to my concerns and was very thoughtful and detailed in his responses. He only ran tests appropriate to my condition and explained the purpose and outcome of each exam he administered. He also walked me through treatment options, explaining what to expect as far as time and cost for each. I trust and appreciate his thorough and progressive approach to dry eye care. I can LITERALLY see an improvement after my very first visit!

My husband and I went for our first Eye Exam after moving into the area. We spent a few hours researching doctors. It's not an easy task! Ultimately we decided to go with Dr. Silani because of his fantastic reviews. We were not disappointed. When you initially arrive there are some signs on the front of the street that direct you to the back of a long drive way. I think these signs could be made better, or more professional looking but I found my way to the correct door. The doctor was funny, informative, and ultimately made me SEE that I actually needed glasses! Shocked as I was, I am very happy that we made the decision to visit this professional.

I came to see Dr. Younany with a very severe case of dry eye. My eyes were swollen, angry red, manically itchy, teared so much that the skin at the inner corner of my eye would break down from being wiped repeated during the day. I used heavy nighttime HYLO ointment all day and all night. Nothing worked. It was overwhelming. I had been fighting this for years. She was the fourth doctor I had seen, and in this case, the fourth time was the charm. She is not only a lovely person, but she is a very skilled, and knowledgeable physician. She has a gentle caring way and is always concerned about your level of comfort during procedures. The dry eye treatments offered here go far beyond your normal eye doctor options. These are seriously helpful remedies. They really go after the root of dry eyes, such as inflammation, tearing, redness, itching, and will duct malfunction etc. without antibiotic or harsh drops. They get your oil glands to work again. It really is amazing the difference I have experienced in just three visits. I know this sounds crazy, but the level of relief I am experiencing is so great, I literally can't wait for my next appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Younany!

My husband and I recently came here for our annual eye appointments, and we will be making the switch permanent! Dr. Silani was really knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions about issues I had been having with my contacts. He suggested a new brand to use, and it's been much better than the previous two brands from another optometrist. He was also really personable so I felt really at ease during my appointment. He had a machine that took a photo of my eyeballs and could see if everything was in healthy condition. This was the first office I've been to that had that machine and it was cool to see the photo afterward. I was also long overdue on eyeglasses, so I decided to buy a new pair while I was here. I was a little overwhelmed when I saw hundreds of glasses to look through, but the woman who helped me, Ashley, was a pro! She picked out a Tiffany frame that she thought I would like, and they looked great. I still insisted on trying on multiple pairs, but in the end I decided to go with the original pair she suggested. Trust her! I have my eye on a pair of sunglasses there, so I will probably be back before my next appointment. I've been telling my husband for years that he needed glasses, and was continually frustrated when optometrists would tell him he didn't. He finally went to see Dr. Silani, who confirmed that his prescription was light, but that he did need glasses. Vindication! He decided to go with glasses instead of contacts, and Ashley helped him pick out frames. They have a wide range of styles and prices, and she helped him find a pair that fit his look and his budget. They were able to finish his glasses the same day and when he put them on he was shocked by the difference. He said it was like switching from standard definition to HD and that even my food looked better. We will definitely be back in the future.

After the last visit Dr. Silani has added a new Doctor to his office, which completes their fantastic dream team, Dr. Younany (A.K.A Dr. Y) which he allowed to exam in me so that we can get to know one another. She was Outstanding (of course), but we went back under the machine and re-measured that dip and thankfully no Glaucoma ... my eyes are just weird(haha) everything is the same . The machine also compares your eye or findings to others in your age range... and just like that I’m blown away, but remain absolutely full of gratitude for the time and care they take when I come in. I came into Beverly Hills Optometry with severe dry eyes and issues with my eyes but after meeting Dr. Kambiz Silani he changed all that. He went over my eye exam thoroughly and addressed every eye issue I had. He suggested the eye massage which is called MiBoFlo treatment. I was initially skeptical about the whole idea of having him massage my eyes but after the initial treatment of one eye, I noticed how one felt so moist and breathable as while the other eye felt as if it was on fire. I definitely recommend Dr.Kambiz Silani to everyone. Best eye doctor in Los Angeles!!! He is patient and thorough during the whole exam. I don't have dry eyes, but my friend described his amazing experience, so, I thought I'd give it a try! The Truth I have NEVER had such a good experience at a eye specialist office. This Dr was smart kind sensitive and got my Dry Eye problems under control FAST I was desperate and my previous Dr literally gave me eye drops that just masked the problem.
