Been going there for years, always the same friendly staff, my thing is that every 2 years the good dr's go :( but they bring good ones in though, just always wonder why the others gotta go. I guess its not like a family doc that sticks around for years, idk. Glasses variety not giantNourmous but its good enough kind of all brands. I give then 10 out of 10.

I absolutely adored Dr. Angell as well as his entire staff. Dr. Angell was very personable and kind. He talked to me and smiled and did an excellent job with the exam. I knew I was in good hands. And his staff... wow!! I was late because I'd gotten lost, since I'm new to town. And I'm in bad health so I got overheated on the way to my appointment. They brought me one cup of water after another until I was properly hydrated. They never lost patience and they never seemed put out, even though I'd obviously put them behind. It's so difficult to find customer service like this nowadays. I'm so grateful for all of their kindness...they definitely have a patient for life in me.

I was very happy with the process of my eye exam. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to eye tests but they were very quick and I felt well treated. I was able to pick out my frames there and they were very helpful in showing me what my insurance covered.

This is a great office! The ladies are super nice great with greeting and you feel absolutely welcome, hands down this is why I always come back here and choose them over anyone else always!! For the longest time my insurance would not let me come because they stopped taking that insurance but the minute they did I opted to bring my son here because I trust them! They have great doctors here, good with kids as well... my eldest son and daughter got the first glasses here and now my 9 yr. is getting his here too! Thank you Dr. Guerrero and the ladies in the front desk and all the staff! Update on the recent visit 1/24/23 Dr. Jeimelie Magdato was the most sweetest person ever, she made my son feel completely comfortable and she explained everything from how the function of our eyes work, and what she was doing throughout the whole visit.. I can honestly say I plan to keep on coming back here as long as I can… thanks again to the staff and doctors who provide the best of eye care!!!

I took my husband and son here for their annual eye exams. We got there 30 minutes before our appointment and they took us in early. Everyone was so friendly. The Dr was extremely patient with my 6 year old (it was his first eye appointment so he was a little anxious about having his eyes dilated). I highly recommend Las Vegas Family Eye Care and I'm really glad we came here.

This place is great! Both my kids go here, they are good with children, quick and efficient. Front desk is quick and pleasant, the folks who run eye tests before the doctor are kind and knowledgeable and the doctors are equally efficient and kind! I love this place! So far we haven’t needed glasses but I’m confident of we do, we’ll be well taken care of!

I had metal in my eye and was in extreme discomfort and this was the only place in town that was willing to get me in same day. Price was very fair, they got the metal and rust removed very quickly. I didn’t sit in waiting room more than 5 minutes before they took me back and fixed me up.

The rest of the staff are very friendly--my updating of paperwork was easy, the staff doing the preliminary checks made it a smooth process, and Jeff helped me pick out my glasses. All the staff was friendly. I was hesitant to take my daughter as I had read they were not that kid friendly. I was wrong! They treat kids well and they understand that some kids are scared or just quiet and shy (like mine). They let you be there to calm them down and they give the most absolute attention to them... all the staff was nice. I decided to make myself an appointment for the next day. My doctor was so nice and friendly she was patient and helpful and most importantly she explained what she was doing and results duper easy for me to understand. The prices are good too and they carry many brand name frames if you are looking for glasses and their selection on contacts is great too. Totally recommend them.

Good service with the doc but keep in mind they will make you wait almost a month to get your glasses. It took them 26 days to get mine. When I called to check up on my glasses 3 weeks later they came off a bit rude over the phone could have been that they were busy and wanted to get me off the phone quick.

Before I finished filling out preliminary paperwork I was called back for start of exam then 2 minutes later Dr. came out and introduced himself and brought me back for comprehensive exam. A wonderful experience! Made an appt and walked right in with no wait time. The staff was great. Optometrist is from Hawaii just like me! He knows his stuff well and even explained the cause of my floaters. He really took his time with me. They helped me pick out frames for my new glasses and gave their honest opinions on how they looked on me. Adjusted my current pair so they won't fall off my face anymore. Great great service. A couple of yrs ago my husband got a piece of metal in his eye. Went to the hospital and got charge just because they open his eye and the charge was ridicules. We left the hospital and with his eye still hurting. I called other eye clinics and they say they didn't have the equipment to remove anything from the eye. Thank god this clinic was the first one we saw while driving. We went in with no appointment. And in less then an hr the piece metal was removed. Today I have return because my daughter got something in her eye. Still service and staff are wonderful.

I recently moved to Las Vegas and haven’t established any of my medical team. I woke up with something seriously wrong with my eye, called Las Vegas Family Eye Care and they were able to get me an appointment right away. The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming, the tech that took me back to do my intake was thorough & empathizing and Dr. Monahan was amazing. He made sure to discuss the reason why my eye looked/felt the way it did, went over my plan in detail and set up a follow up appointment in the exam room. I've been to different eye doctors. Honesty, it almost seemed like an inconvenience with other doctors when I would ask to see 1 versus 2 when getting my vision checks. This doctor actually took his time and made sure ALL my questions were answered. Before I arrived, my tire popped and the office staff were kind enough to hand of the keys to my husband that came in while I was with the doctor. My husband later joked that they took their time because they probably know my driving is not the best. (I SWEAR I'M A GREAT DRIVER 😂) I'm glad I made my switch to this office. Many of the staff members speak spanish so if any one is looking for that, this might be the place for you. Also, I saw them sanitize after people would leave and when I came in they took my temperature. Before your appointment you get a text with a survey about Covid-19 symptoms. I never write reviews but they really were great to me.

Been wearing contacts and glasses for 13 years, this was by far the best visit I ever had. I have been going here since I was a child. Used to see Dr. Angell, and he was always great to me and my siblings. He was my eye doctor throughout most of my youth. As I got older, I came back on my own for my adult vision exams, was seen by a new doctor Dr. Guerrero; she is fantastic ! Very friendly and attentive, she easily became a favorite. I absolutely love her ! My 7 year old son has seen her for his first exam also. I had my doubts about his vision and she had no problem retesting and easing my worries where needed. We have both seen her consistently for years and it is always a pleasure, she is one of the best :)! On a different note, my sons most recent exam was on a day Dr. Guerrero was not available... because I didn’t want him to miss school, I scheduled the appointment anyway. He was seen by a different doctor; Dr. Magdato. I was initially skeptical going in because I am super iffy about changing doctors etc, especially considering I’ve had exceptional experiences with Dr. Guerrero for myself and my son. But upon arrival and meeting Dr. Magdato, my skepticism was quickly brushed away. She is so personable and friendly !! She is absolutely great with kids also ! Very patient and affirming in her interactions. My son loved her, even if he acted shy haha ! This only makes me love this place even more, I have personally met/seen 3/4 of the doctors and they have all impressed me! If you are looking for a new eye doctor ... this is the place to go !!! On top of their fantastic eye doctor staff... their front desk, and the people who help you choose glasses etc are ALL very patient and eager to help. Five stars all the way, in all aspects. I will forever be a guest/patient here when it comes to my vision needs.

I walked in a little upset at the selection of eye wear and thought I would never return. As soon as Dr. Magdato began examining my son I knew I would return. She spoke directly to him and made him laugh a lot during the visit. I’ve never seen my 9 year old son so calm and happy to be at the optometrist. Dr. Magdato has excellent people skills and examined my son’s eyes way more than any other optometrist has. She smiled the entire time and made us both feel welcomed and valued. I can really tell that she loves what she does. Even though I’m not thrilled about the minimal selection of eyewear, I will return because I know she’s one of the best optometrists out there. When I had vision fluctuations due to complications with diabetes, she changed my prescription, AND MY GLASSES, three or four times without charging me for all the extra prescriptions/appointments. She's the best. I can't say the same for the front office staff, unfortunately. They make it very obvious that they just don't care. Still, I won't go to another eye doctor as long as Dr. Magdado is there.
