Dr. Crank is very kind and takes the time to get to know all of your eye care needs. His staff is also super helpful when picking out frames. I have very poor vision, due to the lenses being thick my options are limited. They are super patient and accommodating to make sure you are happy with your selection.

This is the best family eye doctor in Grand Rapids. Not owned by an Investment Firm as so many medical facilities are today. Premier is more about giving good care and less about variable margins. Premier genuinely cares for their patients and will spend the time necessary to answer all of your questions. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have a wide range of frames and will support you if you have any issues. I highly recommend this practice!

I go to Premier Family Eye Care South (on Kalmazoo) location and see Dr.Jay Crank. Dr. Crank is super nice and knowledgeable. Location is new and well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Picking out eye glasses there was easy. They use a lot of latest equipment so they just scan your eyes which really cuts down on the amount of time they need to shine a light in there and look manually. Their eye pressure machine also doesn't need to blow air directly in your eyes which is way more comfortable. I would highly recommend.

I’ve been going here since the third grade and haven’t found an optometrist comparable! The glasses selection is also very unique-sensational-very much in style. Oh, and let’s not forget the doc is always on time for eye exams so never waiting for a ridiculous amount of time to be seen. Doc also has your best interest in mind for your eye health, so don’t worry about getting a prescription that will actually blind you instead of help you. Thank you Dr. Scholten and staff!!
