This was my 1st eye exam in 12 years. I went in to just have an eye exam even though I don't wear glasses or contacts. Scheduling the appointment was easy and they had times that worked with my schedule. I get off at 5pm M-Th and 4pm on F, so most doctors are closed by then, It was nice not having to take time off work. I didn't know what to except because, it's been a while but everyone was extremely friendly from the moment i walked in. I didn't even have to wait that long to get started. Dr.Kisch helped me understand more about the eyes and answered all the questions I had. I even found out I have 20/20 vision. I was told i had the best eyes that day 😉

I was a new patient. Entered and office personnel answered all questions , insurance coverage/payment and set me up with an appt all within 5 minutes. Apply was in 1 hour which went very smoothly and Dr answered all questions and communicated exceptionally well. They even printed out my prescription and gave it to me...my last optomitrist you had to donate a kidney to get your own prescription. Paid my copay, received receipt and was on my way...no glitches, hang ups or errors. Left happier than when i entered. Excellent service!

The doctor and her staff were very nice, but I am not pleased with the contacts I was prescribed. I got a pair of contacts at this location, first time user so they helped teach me how to put them in. I do have astigmatism in both eyes, worse in my left than my right. They gave me a weighted contact in my left, and when I voiced my concerns about the contact not feeling right, they told me give it a try for a few days. I said I wasnt sure about that because it felt very uncomfortable compared to the contact in my right eye, and I had travelled an hour to go there so I didnt want to have to come back so soon. They went on and on about some rebate thing. Its a fine option, but I wouldnt have to consider it if they had listened to me to begin with. I wore the contacts for the next 4 days, I followed all the rules they gave me to a T. But the irritation from the contact only in my left eye had blurred my vision and left my eye red and painful. I ended up going to a local, but more expensive, optometrist who told me that I should NOT have been given a weighted contact because my astigmatism is not severe enough in either eye. He told me to wait for the blurred vision to go away and wait a couple more weeks before coming back and trying a new pair, both nonweighted. I got a nice, new pair of contacts that give me no problems in either eye. But I am by no means well-off, and Im still very displeased that I spent so much money between two doctors when it could've very easily been avoided if my initial concerns weren't dismissed. That being said, I was happy with a few things, such as the ease of scheduling, how short the wait times were, how clean the place was, and how friendly the staff were. Besides the contact fiasco, I'd recommend this place for a normal prescription.

The clinic is very efficient and professional without being at all impersonal. We started going to Dr. Masciarelli a few years ago when we had a change in our insurance and I'm so glad we did. Dr. Masciarelli practices in a small office, so my family feels very comfortable. She has been wonderful with myself and my children. My daughter started Kindergarten this year and our most recent visit was her first. She did great, thanks to the professional and caring ways of Dr. Masciarelli. My oldest daughter and myself opted for contacts this year, for the first time ever. Dr. Masciarelli and her team made the experience so wonderful. They were helpful and patient as we navigated our new journeys in our site. I would recommend Dr. Masciarelli and her team to anyone.

I contacted the office thinking they accepted my new insurance. After discussion we found out they did not. Knowing I was getting new insurance the first of the year, we discussed that as well. It was an insurance that they had not heard of. So Bonnie said she would do some research and get back to me. That was about a week ago. Today I received a text from Bonnie stating that they did not accept the new insurance, but sent a list of places that she had researched and found did accept the new insurance. That is Customer service at its best. Even though I can't use them I would suggest them to anyone.

I have very bad eyes and need some quality time with my eye doctor. I ask questions and like explanations. I don’t like feeling rushed and not valued. When I was introduced to Dr. Masciarelli from Eyemart next door I felt comfortable and important right from the start. In that instant I knew I would give her a try. I made an appointment the next day and got right in. The whole staff was joyful and attentive at my appt. Dr. Masciarelli took her time with me. She showed me the pictures of my eyes and explained what she was looking at and for. She answered my questions and concerns easily with care and made me feel at ease when asking. Not rushed or agitated as I have had in my past experiences at other places. In the end, for the first time in many many years I felt like I got quality eye care and am very thankful for the piece of mind and ability to believe in an eye doctor again. My eyes fill wonderful in these new contacts she has me in and she explained all the little details about contacts I did not know nor have ever been told by previous eye doctors and I’ve been wearing them for 30 years. No joke. I appreciate EyeMart and all they do for me and my glasses but now even more for connecting me with my new and only eye doctor that I will see from here on out.
