I have been going to Dr. Billings since I was a 20 something (currently a 40 something). When kids came along, she’s the one I trusted to care for their vision. One of our daughters was born with some specific medical issues and time and time again Dr. Billings has bent over backwards to help us with doctor referrals or last minute appointments. I can’t say enough good things about her. She’s extremely bright, very personable and just a great person. Total package in a doctor. We highly recommend her care!

I always feel like at home when I visit the Vision Park Family Eye Care in Urbandale. In my 14 years of visiting the office I never left the office unhappy. Dr. Mueller is wonderful and she always listens to my concerns. Mister Bret always helps me to choose right glasses. Excellent service as always. The entire staff from reception, initial exam, doctor eye exam, new glasses, and payment were all extremely professional and answered every question I had. Unlike many facilities, there is never an attempt to try and oversell on services or glasses but rather they listen to what's going on with the patient and work to make the visit pleasant. I have been seeing Dr. Billings for some time now and she was fantastic as she always is. As above, very professional and helpful and one of the many reasons I keep coming back.

I have been going to Vision Park for almost 8 years. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Kyle always greets me with a smile when he does my pre-exam checks. Both Dr. Muller and Dr. Billings have done my exams and each time I sit in the chair I know that they want to make sure that I have the best experience possible and ensure that my eyes stay healthy for years to come. I also really appreciate that Vision Park sticks by the glasses and frames they sell - if there is ever an issue, I know I can bring in my glasses and they will make sure I leave with a solution!

I can't possibly express how much I love this office! My vision isn't the best and one eye has more issues than the other, but I've never really had anyone explain to me WHY. Dr. Larson not only explains the "whys," he makes sure everything is crystal clear and comfortable, and that I'm 100% happy. He went out of his way to help me work through some issues with my contacts and did some research to find the right prescription for me, because the brand I've been wearing for years (and most brands) doesn't carry the strength I actually need. He found a brand that does carry the strength I need and ordered a trial pair in specifically for me to wear to see if they'd be comfortable for me. The office staff is always so kind and friendly (Robin & Cassandra are always so pleasant to talk to.) I'm always taken care of here! I highly, highly recommend visiting this clinic!

The Dr came in and spent a good deal of time with me. He answered all my questions and I felt like he really cared about what was in my best interest. I used to love this vision clinic but my appointment started almost 30 minutes late. That’s beyond what feels appropriate and there was no explanation given. So, if there was an emergency (which I would’ve understood) - that wasn’t shared. If not, it was poor schedule management. Not sure I’ll be returning. As a result of the explanation given, I am certainly willing to give the practice another chance. I understand the need to be very careful about sharing private information, but I am glad to hear that the staff is reviewing protocol, so that hopefully in the future, patients waiting can be given some sort of explanation. As I said, if someone is facing an emergent situation, of course I want the medical provider to do all they can to protect that patient's health and well-being. Being respectful of all patients involved will address this issue and it sounds like Vision Park staff will be working towards this end.

front office was fast & efficient, the eye exam went well with and Dr. Muller explained what was happening and things to be aware of in the future. She also checked my past history to make there were no problems at this time. The technician was very helpful. I am a very long time patient of this practice and it is only getting better. I've been to several eye care places and this has been one of my favorites. The staff is friendly, kind and professional. Everyone is knowledgeable and they do not shy away from any questions. I was at ease from the exam to the end of my session. I am excited to go and pick a pair of new glasses. From what I saw, they have a good selection of eyewear choices. To add, the wait area is comfortable. They care about their customers and overall was a great experience.

I went in today and the staff was really nice. My appointment was at 12:15 (I scheduled it on my lunch) and people went ahead of me. I went up to the desk and said “my appointment is at 12:15 right?” and the receptionist said yeah and she apologized saying that they had me down for the wrong time. I was a half hour late back to work because of the delay for my appointment. I ended up going back with one of the doctors 20 minutes after my appointment time and he didn’t really help or give me answers that I needed. He gave me eye drops and told me if my eye didn’t clear up within a week to call them back and schedule another appointment. I had symptoms of blurriness in my right eye that he didn’t even talk about or discuss with me on what was causing that. My appointment (just a red eye check up) was $114. He didn’t give me a lot of information and basically just guessed what was wrong. I had a good experience the first time I came around a year ago for an eye exam and was not expecting such bad service this time.

I was on time for my appointment, and had essentially no wait before I was taken to have my eye health checked. Then to the doctor's office for vision testing. Dr Triebel came in shortly after the assistant left. She asked thorough questions, and was very careful in her tests. Eye doctors have the coolest tools! They adjusted my current glasses and they fit so much better now. I highly recommend Vision Park.

Wonderful 1st visit. Wait was minimal in the waiting area, excellent service as once name was called was ushered off and treated quickly and efficiently. The person helping me pick out glasses did a superb job and was very patient and even took pictures of me with her cell phone so I could see what I looked like better with my own glasses on (versus trying to see with a magnifying mirror). Everyone was nice and friendly and made you feel welcomed.

They have high quality frames and a quick turn around time to get them back from the lens manufacturer(s). They have made every effort, most successfully, to accommodate their patients. Go here. Kyle and Dr. Muller were excellent; however, the front desk employees were very unpleasant. As I was checking in, it seemed like Kelli did not want to be there. She did not greet me and when I said I had new insurance, she made it seem like an inconvenience. When it came time to check out, Kelli informed me that I did not have vision coverage. I said I thought I was sure I did and would have to call my husband for the group number. She then said, "Well I already called them and you don't." Every interaction with her seemed to bother her and she did not smile once. Chris was the one who actually checked me out and as I was on the phone with my husband to get the group number for my vision coverage, she sighed and puffed heavily and rolled her eyes! I was very surprised by how these two have been acting, so I asked if something was wrong because they had treated me like I was a huge inconvenience to them. I hope something changes soon because these two have very poor customer service, which is a shame because the techs and doctors are very friendly and great.

My son was having difficulty at school and Dr. Billings diagnosed that he needed vision therapy! Dr Larson was excellent. I have recently struggled with close vision while wearing contacts. I prefer contacts but had been wearing my backup glasses for a couple of years because it was difficult to do paperwork. Dr Larson kindly, and professionally, found an excel solution in the form. Of multi prescription contacts. I am so pleased to be able to see both distance and close with my new contacts! Dr Larson then went over images of my eye, explaining the health of both my eyes, and general health. No one has ever given such a thorough eye exam and explained the health side of it.
