Nothing compares to the professionalism of Andrew. I’ve known him half a decade, yet he knows how to greet me warmly, briefly conversate, and focus on my eyeball needs. He has vast knowledge on insurance and the products they sell. I refer all my family and friends to LensCrafters specifically because of him, but just now received the service I had faith he was providing. Keep it up man

I went into the Lenscrafters store at Merle Hay Mall and was instantly welcomed, there are four very instrumental people involved with the most excellent customer service, Jaclyn, Andrew,Jeffrey, and Tracy. All of them were extraordinarily involved in making my visit under an hour from start to finish. I was able to find a frame that fit my face profile, would carry my prescription and was in my budget. Those are all components of an excellent experience!!!

The salesman Tyler that helped me today with my purchase was very knowledgeable and professional in all aspects and made sure that I was satisfied with my purchase and was straight forward that they are ten days out and I would receive a text message when I could pick up my glasses and also very knowledgeable about the discounts that applied on my purchase. Her glasses had broke on a Sunday morning, they went to the LensCrafters on merle hay and Jacqueline helped them. she is very very professional and she just did a wonderful job. she did everything she could to try and fix the glasses so at least they could get her through until She could get a new pair. she did a wonderful job thank you Jacqueline

I was extremely frustrated about how my insurance was working for getting new glasses but when I came to LensCrafters the young lady sells person and a gentleman that worked alongside her did everything they could to make sure I was able to get affordable glasses they would not stop until they found my insurance that was available. They also compared prices with their in-store sales which was a better price than my insurance and when it came to payment they did everything possible to make sure I was able to pay for my glasses and I appreciate it the attentiveness and the attention to details.

Getting glasses here was super easy! We forgot our prescription, so Lenscrafters got it faxed over from our hometown glasses store which was extremely convenient. We were helped by Bill and he was very nice, helpful and patient. We had some insurance complications (on our side) and he was eager to help us out and it didn't feel like we were inconveniencing him at all. Even the other employees chimed in with some advice. We are very grateful to have had a smooth and helpful experience here.

Great customer service. The employees have always been extremely helpful, especially Gene B. Edit, a couple of years later... I've lost track of how many pairs of glasses I have purchased here. I have purchased glasses other places in between, but I always come back here. Today I needed to replace my beloved Ray-Ban sunglasses and Julianna did an amazing job helping me get the absolutely coolest new pair.

Tracy assisted my wife by adjusting the bows on her daily use Rx glasses and her Rx sunglasses. Friendly and competent. Both pair of glasses fit and perform like new. This LensCrafters store has been our favorite in the larger Des Moines Metro for years. The associates are always friendly and helpful. Never pushy, but knowledgeable. This store also has an in-store opthamology clinic.

Actual glasses are pricy even with insurance, but you get what you pay for, the service here is stellar. PPS. Andrew was best helper. Give him a raise, not just a pizza. ;)

I recently had an eye exam and purchased a new pair of glasses. I had more than a slight change in my vision and was having a hard time adjusting to the new prescription. I just chalked it up to, needing more time to adjust. But the glasses would make me dizzy and sometimes sick. I went back to recheck my eyes and they made some adjustments. I went to see about getting new lenses figuring I would need to pay more out for an already expensive pair of glasses. The manager was wonderful! He too stated he could make some changes to the new lenses to help and to top it off he didn’t penalize me for being slightly over the 30 days. He ordered me new lenses at no cost! Then when I went to pick them up, I was told the first lenses were not right, so they ordered me a whole new pair of glasses! I see so much better! I love the service I get! I won’t buy glasses anywhere else! Lense Crafters, Merle Hay Mall, DesMoines Iowa is the place to go for service and quality! Tell them Ann sent you! 😁 The manager (sadly I didn’t get his name) is the best! He truly cares about his clients!

I wanted to go home and think about it so she took the time to write down my favorite frames so I could come back later. Several days later I went to Merle Hay and she was patient again as I tried on even more frames. I found the perfect pair…the same frame she herself was wearing. In the past I have selected frames I did not like because I felt pressured by impatient sales clerks. Miranda was awesome and stated to me she wanted me to be happy with my glasses. These folks are the very definition of customer service. I first went in to get glasses a few months ago, and they ran every possible pricing scenario with and without vision insurance to ensure I got the best deal. Last week, through no fault of theirs, a snafu involving my idiot eye doctor and the insurance company required Amy from LensCrafters to reverse my glasses claim so I could get my contacts paid for. She was immediately responsive and handled everything ASAP—someone else’s mistake only ended up costing me $6 additional because Amy and the staff went the extra mile (I otherwise would’ve been on the hook for over $1,000). They called my doctor, called the insurance, and did everything they could for me. I will be going nowhere else but this location for glasses and contacts from now on! THANK YOU AMY!

Great experience and customer service by Marie & Tracy! I needed glasses quickly because I lost mine on a road trip across the country. They helped me get the best glasses that I could in less than 1 hour so I could get on the road again. Prices were very good as they were having a 40%-off-lenses sale and the frames were $47 because they had a used section. They took the time to make sure they fit and were comfortable. Highly recommend working with these 2 ladies!

This happened awhile ago, optometrist was great but some lady at the front desk didn't really believe my age at the time (I was 18-19yrs old) and asked me personal questions like where I worked & what I did there. I showed her my license as proof and she still suspected something suspicious of me, like I know I looked young for my age but can you not steer out of track & do your job instead of trying to get to know my personal life? That peculiar experience was offputting and ruined this place for me indefinitely.

It was my birthday, and my wish was to just get a couple appts out of the way. Such as my annual eye exam. I decided to give this LensCrafters another chance - I'm glad I did. Service was a million times better than it was when I was there last (6 years ago). Good prices on frames and lenses with friendly service from Dan, who I believe is the manager. Lab tech was also very friendly. Dan helped me understand what would work with my prescription and what wouldn't while taking the time to explain everything in detail. Some frames are refurbished, but looked brand new. With the new staff and friendly service, I would definitely recommend. Huseman Optometrist Clinic is right next door, and they are also great. I've been going to them for years. Seemed to be a good connection between LensCrafters and the eye clinic. Also recommend.
