This shop came highly recommended on Google so I gave it a shot in the summer since my son needed his frames repaired in time for school. I was informed the damage to his frames was irreparable; however, Allen and his associate were able to find a similar pair of frames at an unbeatable price that would be ready within 2 business days. I was so impressed with their service when I picked up my son’s frames that I brought in one of frames that were broken for months and new frames that needed prescription lenses. I was able to walk out of the shop with my repaired frames the same day and only waited a little over a week for my other frames to be ready. Today, I brought in my frames to be repaired because a screw fell out and the arm was bent. Again, I was able to walk out with my freshly repaired frames. This one-stop-shop is amazing and their service prices are equally impressive! THANK YOU!

Fast, friendly service! I lost a screw in my glasses and Nadine repaired it in just a few minutes. She noticed it was stripped and took the extra step to bend the screw so it wouldn’t come out again. I'll start with one piece of advice - make sure to schedule an appointment before you go, as Stack Optical is currently by appointment only. That being said, I stopped by and the technician was kind enough to help me as a courtesy. I broke the hinge on a rather expensive pair of eyeglass frames with progressive lenses. Although the hinge could not be fixed, the technician was able to apply a discreet hard sleeve that holds the temple in a functional angle - and made this fix for no charge! I am so glad to be able to use my eyeglasses again and look forward to using Stack Optical for my future eyeglass needs.

After receiving very poor service from another local optical company and waiting 3-1/2 months for new glasses, the new glasses still needed nose pad adjustments. I could not bear going back to the place where I bought them. Instead, I tried Stack Optical Service in my neighborhood. 5 stars!! Recently, a few of my favorite pairs of sunglasses broke. After looking for awhile trying to find a good place to get them fixed, I came across Stack Optical and read nothing but great reviews. I had a sudden need to get my glasses frames fixed after stepping on them and was told they weren't fixable. However, I found Stack Optical on S. Monaco Parkway and went by to see if they could help. I was immediately helped by the friendly staff and within minutes my glasses were expertly fixed by Nadine, their in-house specialist. She even adjusted the glasses I was wearing, so now I have 2 pairs that fit and function perfectly. The kicker was there was no charge for this repair! I came in to see if they could fix a bent up old pair of metal frames I have had for about 20 years now that were digging into the bridge of my nose. I came prepared to drop them off but after explaining what I needed an optician by the name of Mercedes took them to the back and used science to adjust and straighten them in minutes. She was very kind, knowledgeable and straight forward. She explained that there was limitations to what she could due using words like bezel, drilling, pad arm and quantum entanglement (ok maybe not that last one). I have been wearing them now for about a couple hours and I have not experienced any discomfort, exceptional work. They also have cool looking pens.

I just want to give a big shoutout to Stack Optical! I highly recommend them. My daughter had gotten her eyeglasses from a different optical place and we kept going back to the place where we got them from several times! The guy told us he couldn’t adjust them anymore. So we then found Stacks. We went inside and I explain to the lady what had happened and that my daughter had broken her other pair of glasses and the pair that she had on was really bothering the back of her ears. My daughter happens to have special needs and I told the lady she needs these glasses fixed because she starts school tomorrow and she doesn’t have another pair. This lady sat my daughter down and immediately started working on her glasses and before you know it she had fix her glasses! at no charge to us. Allen and his team at Stack Optical are the very best. I took my vintage Ray-Ban sunglasses to Stack to be repaired, knowing that the possibilities were dim. Allen told me that the repair would be a challenge, but he would try his best. He dropped everything and twenty minutes later they were good as new! My dad broke his only pair of glasses on day 2 of 6 and was very stressed for obvious reasons! I came across stack optical since it was near our hotel and because of the reviews! About a week ago my boyfriend accidently sat on my glasses and I thought there was no hope for it and I would have to get new ones - not only had the lenses fallen off, but the whole frame had also become completely deformed. A quick google search led me to the Stack Optical Service and I couldn't be more satisfied with my finding and choice - the care that my glasses and I were given by Nadine were exceptional! I wish I had taken pictures of my glasses' before and after but, as I said, I was hopeless about it! I did not think I would be able to wear them ever again! Obviously and fortunately, I was wrong! Although it was a 30-40 bike ride from my place, it was completely worth it! I had chosen this place because of its great reviews and in fact I ended up having a great experience!

Thanks so much! A family member dropped and bent their glasses and cannot really see at all without them. They were able to fix them within minutes and give a few tips to keep the frames from wearing out too quickly. After hearing their ads on the radio for years I decided it would be worth driving across the city to check out the shop. They carry the Silhouette frames I like. So happy with the new glasses, I ordered new sunglass lenses for my old frames. Had each ready in less than a week. Both glasses are the best I've ever had in my 60 years of wearing glasses. I came here to get my glasses fixed after an arm fell off. They were able to fix it for 100% free because I had lost the spring because it had fallen out so one of the arms is still loose because it’s unfixable without a new arm. Nadine is terrific! I bought a pair of Prada sunglasses from Sunglass Hut this summer for my birthday and had an accident. The hinge was broken inside of the frame and I was turned away by Sunglass Hut, Lens Crafters and Prada’s own technicians Luxxotica. My glasses had come apart as a result of losing one of those very tiny screws holding the temple to the eyeglass frame. . I called Stack Optical and spoke with Allen Stack, the owner and head optician who invited me over. He was able to fix the problem in minutes and refused any monetary compensation for his efforts. I made an appointment (social distancing) to have these guys look at a pair of prescription wire frame sunglasses i accidently sat on and really got them twisted. I wasnt sure if they were going to be able to fix them as i bought another frame off ebay and they too were twisted--but not as bad as mine. Allen took my glasses and told me "i can fix these" and was back in a flash--all straightened up and fixed. "No charge" he said. Wow! I've never even been a customer here before! This place was a life saver. The frames on my glasses broke and I found out that other stores won't let you buy new frames unless you bought your original glasses with them. They all said they couldn't help me. When the store I bought mine from opened they said they could only use the same frame I bought and that they wouldn't be in stock for more than a month. I work moving large vehicles in a garage so I had no idea what I was going to do until I found this place. They got me new frames that matched the lenses I had in about half an hour and I was able to go to work that evening. The service was great and if I have trouble with my glasses again this will be the first place I go to.

On the first morning of a recent conference I was attending in Denver one earpiece of my nice Silhouette glasses broke. Oh, the nightmare! (I thought I was subject to see as Colonel Wilhelm Klink did holding spectacles up to his face.) I called Stack after a search on Silhouette repair returned Stack Optical in the results. Although there were no guarantees made over the phone I felt confident they would try. To make a long story short (too late for that) they were able to replace the earpiece with a used one that matched exactly. I saved over $300 on the repair and it was fast. I encourage you to try Stack Optical if you're not happy with your current place.

I dont like the way they send the money to corporate headquarters fall away. I first went to Stack Optical a few years ago, and I was personally helped by the owner, Allen Stack. This is probably the most knowledgeable optician in town, and then some, about the mechanics of eyeglasses, in my experience. There is a big advantage of having a lens cutting machine and lab on premises, as well.
