I've used ReplaceALens to put polarized Rx lenses in my Ray Ban frames twice, once about 5 years ago and again recently as my Rx had changed. Both times the glasses were perfect and turnaround time was shorter than advertised. I am not from the Denver area so I had to mail my glasses in. A great thing about this company is when you call them someone actually answers the phone, *and* that person is actually knowledgeable about the products they are selling!

I have had my lens replaced twice in the last three years after eye exams determined I needed a different prescription. Boy, am I glad I found ReplaceALens. Each time I had the lens replaced in two frames I still liked. They were perfect. The turnaround time was within a couple of weeks. The glasses were returned to me cleaned and needed no adjustments. The cost was amazingly affordable. I would recommend ReplaceALens without any hesitation.

I've been going to these people for over 5 years now and I love how they go out of their way to make sure that you feel comfortable. If you have frames that you like and want to wear again just take them in and they'll put your current eye RX into them, or you can choose from the many other frames that they have in stock. And the prices are Great, from the super high end to the low price range. I definitely recommend for a great price and awesome quality this is the perfect place!

I spent a lot of time researching online companies to make new prescription lenses for my sunglasses frames. Showroom space was very clean hand sanitizing stations available face masks required. A good selection of frames and also discount frames. Update (Aug. 2022): The store's General Manager, Alex, reached out to me and had me send the unsatisfactory glasses back for evaluation. He then expertly identified the sources of my problems, had the lenses remade to eliminate those problems, and sent the glasses back to me. This time, the lenses were perfect! Kudos to Alex and his team for their excellent customer service. They stand behind their products. My Initial Review ( July 2022): Not a good experience. Progressive lenses installed by ReplaceALense were blurry close to the sides and had very small far and middle zones, making transition from far to near abrupt and uncomfortable. I had none of these issues with another pair I had ordered at the same time from a premier offshore outfit to the same prescription at half the cost! And they were optically more clear too. So, that's the pair I wore all the time until ... see my Aug. 2022 update above.

Ok so this is a 5 star review based entirely on customer service. We were actually never able to solve an issue I was having with my prescription sunglass lenses, but the customer support was really truly exceptional. Very personal, always dealing with the same person. By the last iteration they were demanding that they give me a refund and I was literally refusing because they were so nice and had tried so many different things to help me. (they still refunded me). So no, they don't have magic powers. But yes, they'll do EVERYTHING that they possibly can to help you!

I found this place after Walmart botched the lenses for my wraparound motorcycle sunglasses. ReplaceALens did a great job on the lenses at a much lower price than Walmart. I will be going here for all my lenses in the future - they have earned my business. Friendly, knowledgeable people here too.

he places I tried previously were Visionworks, Costco, and Lenscrafters. Getting my lenses replaced at Visionworks and Lenscrafters were too expensive for my liking and Costco said that they wouldn't do customer brought frames since they fear it might break. Upon finding this place online and reading reviews I was still suspicious that it would be too good to be true. However, compared to other websites that replace lenses, this place had a physical location which increased my trust in this place. If I had got my lenses at one of the typical optical stores, it would've cost me around $300 - $400 just for the lenses. At ReplaceALens, they had an ongoing for September which was $75 for a single-vision, polycarbonate lens, with premium anti glare. The total spend was $140 total for the replacements for both of my frames. The process of sending my frames worried me, but as time went on, the customer service reps answered all my questions when I asked about a status update regarding my frames. For me, the process took a total of 18 days upon sending my frames and getting them back in the mail so it didn't take too long. I am truly glad that I found this place while searching the web for a place that would replace the lens of my frames. My glasses turned out great and I hope to continue going back to this business to get my lenses for all my frames in the future. It looks sketchy at first, but this business truly upholds their customer service.

Just used ReplaceALens again! Great service! Great price! December 2022 Sooo Thankful I found ReplaceALens! I first found another site, but they had too many complaints. ReplaceALens had very high ratings. I have a high Rx, high index, progressive lenses. They did a great job at a great price. Highly recommend them! I had wanted to use my Christian Dior frames, which fit me and were better quality than any Costco frames available. Costco would have charged $192 for lenses only, but wouldn't take my frames unless they were new. When my frames were new, Costco did a poor job and lost one of the custom screws and put a pin in it. Then denied they lost the screw! Go to ReplaceALens!! I will use them again!

Highly recommended. Not only do they offer a lot of different lens options, they were also extremely friendly and responsive in every communication. The process of shipping the glasses to them and receiving them back was painless and amazingly fast. They were willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. After searching endlessly on the web and in local optical shops, I found two shops who could do lenses quickly -- one was in Colorado Springs, and this one was in Denver. My daughter broke her only pair of glasses, and she needed a new prescription -- so almost every shop in town quoted 2-3 weeks. She has a high degree of stigmatism, so 2-3 weeks was a ridiculous amount of time. We went into the shop, explained what we needed, and even with a rush charge, the lenses were less expensive than anywhere else in town. Not only that, the turnaround time was 2 days. Seriously, if you need people who are nice, efficient, and friendly, go to this shop.

ReplaceALens is a fantastic find. Luckily for me, my neighbor is a long-time customer and introduced me to them. I've been very satisfied ever since. This company has exceptionally well-trained, pleasant, and helpful staff and is eager to give every customer a great experience. They are truly a one-stop shop with on-site eye exams and their own in-house laboratory. They specialize in making new lenses for existing frames, as their name says. They also have a huge selection of new frames in stock. They can offer exceptionally good pricing since all work is done in-house and they have avoided expensive, retail locations. They may be a bit out of the way, but the trip is definitely worth it.

Originally, they did a beautiful job putting replacement lenses in my frames. That replacement required very precise drilling which they did perfectly. Then, 9 months later, I realized my seldom worn glasses had developed a surface defect, a general lack of clarity. This lens manufacturer defect was no fault of their own. Replacealens emailed me a prepaid mailing label to return the glasses. Without hesitation they are replacing the defective lenses under warranty. This place is great. Use this company! I haven't received such great customer like this in a long time! This place is the best. The turn around time was phenomenal! They kept me informed of the progress of my glasses and even called me to discuss the lenses. I sent them 2 pair of frames that did not have lens. These frames were discontinued years ago. (Ray Ban) They had to make these lenses from scratch with only a photo on line to go by. They are held on by a tiny screw in the corner. They do not have a lower rim. I could not tell the difference between the original and the remakes! Unbelievable perfection!! Kudos to everyone that works here!

I was able to get trivex lenses with crizal's sapphire coating for the same price that a local shop would charge for basic polycarbonate lenses. ReplaceALens also did excellent work fitting my clip-ons with polarized lenses. The optical quality of both is excellent, and the lead time for my order was accurate.

Absolutely incredible! I just paid my local optical shop $450 to have my everyday lenses replaced. I decided that the cost was too high for new sunglasses so I sent those frames to ReplaceALens for basic, clear progressives as a backup pair. $55 in less than two weeks and the lenses are perfect! This place is amazing. Hands down the best place to order replacement lenses. They are extremely high quality, much better than your generic mall store. I bought some frames on ebay for cheap and they lensed them up without charging any additional fees. I also emailed them to see if they would offer a bulk discount for 8 pairs. They gave me a great deal! Frames and all, I probably have 8 nice designed frames for the price of 2! The only small negative is that it can take more than two weeks to get them processed, but the wait is worth it! Awesome job!

I have used Lensabl many times but this time I tried ReplaceALens because I was going for a very specific look - I had a pair of frames that I wanted blue lenses in, but other lens replacement companies could not do the shade of blue I wanted. ReplaceALens sent me their colors and even told me to send a picture and they could replicate the color. I did that and when my glasses arrived today, I was THRILLED with how they turned out! When I was inquiring about the color, they were very responsive to emails and made me feel like a valued customer. As stated by others, do not be put off by their website. This is the kind of business you want to patronize. I will be back to do more business with them. Update 6/15/2021: Yesterday I received two more pair I sent for lens replacement, and once again thrilled. One pair was a pair of sunglasses with a grayish-blue lens color and they replicated the color perfectly. This is definitely my lens replacement company!

Ordered Trivex lenses and sent my glasses out to ReplaceALens. Took about two weeks and I received them shipped back in the original case I sent them in along with an amazing quality product. Trivex changes the game for me and it’s extremely difficult to find a spot that offers it in-person. However I don’t think anyone can beat their prices as I got single vision prescription with Trivex and premium anti-reflective coating for hundreds less than some boutique would offer. Definitely getting future prescription glasses done by them.

I found Replace A Lens while searching the WEB, and I liked their site. I sent in my frame with the current lens, including the prescription from my Doctor. My frame and new lenses were returned within 2 weeks, and I immediately tried them on. The lenses were crystal clear and the trifocal measurements were spot on. In the past I would go to local eye stores with my prescription, try on frames and they would send them off to a Lab. Almost without exceptions my glasses were returned to me and they would be okay. I would mention this and I was told the lenses were within tolerances. Within tolerances??? Now I know why a local store would say within tolerances...because the lenses were not exactly what the prescription called for. I will place another order with Replace A Lens, and I will tell my friends about the excellent service I was given. I had a previous experience at a big box retailer that was far from great. My prescription was incorrect, my frames broke and had to be repaired by a third party, and the coating was defective. Coming to ReplaceALens was such a wonderful experience. They were friendly and helpful. Dr French's exam was thorough and he discussed what was causing my eye problems and what to expect from my new glasses. Chris W was the optician that helped me with my frames and the cost. He never once pressured me into purchasing anything I didn't need and explained the cost of each option clearly. He worked with me instead of against me unlike my previous experience. He didn't even laugh when I went ass over tea kettle in the middle of the store! My final fitting was performed by a young woman who's name I missed. She explained in detail how to care for my glasses so the coating wouldn't fail and was very pleasant and friendly. This place has fantastic people. Their prices are unbeatable. Their inexpensive frames were still stylish and they had a wide selection. I will go back to them without hesitation and recommend them to every one!

This was the first time I ever mailed my frames to have my progressive lens replaced. They are perfect. Once they received my frames, Shannon contact me to discussed the options that I had selected incorrectly. My frames are unique. I had lenses replaced in a rimless frame that other opticians refused to work with. ReplaceALens required a little over two weeks to get the job done, but it was worth the wait. They corrected my PD measurement and installed Shamir progressives that are providing the best vision I've had in years. I will definitely use ReplaceALens again. I just had a second pair of progressives made by ReplaceALens (because of eye surgery). I asked for a milder reading correction than my optometrist wrote down, but a person from ReplaceALens called and talked me into going with the original prescription. I'm glad he did. Once again the result was excellent. This is a high quality, conscientious eyeglass manufacturer. I don't think they come any better.

Sent in an old pair of glasses that were still in great shape along with a new prescription. Two weeks later I have an amazing new pair of glasses. Don't be intimidated for having to measure your pupillary distance. There are phone apps that give you a very accurate measurement. Just make sure to measure more than once to make sure you got the correct measurement. Everything else was a breeze.

I found ReplaceALens while searching for a place to obtain lenses for two pair of frames I recently purchases. I knew I wanted to try some newer lens choices, such as drivewear, and HD progressive lenses, rather than polycarbs of yesteryear. I am so thrilled to leave this review. I inherited an awesome pair of vintage eyeglasses that I wanted to turn into non-prescription sunglasses. Lens crafters said it would be over $200, and ReplaceALens did it for $60. The quality is fantastic and the customer service was as well. Because I had intra-ocular lens put in my eyes after the cataracts were removed from both eyes, the old eye glasses had the incorrect power for reading. I live in New York City, but I decided to send 4 pairs of eyeglasses, with nice frames, that needed to be updated with the correct power. I had the premium anti-glare, UV and anti-scratch coatings applied to the lens. I'm extremely pleased with the excellent workmanship of ReplaceALens. They did a great job on my eyeglasses.

I was skeptical at first sending my frames out to a online service, and all the way to Denver. However, for my second order, I'm sending without any reservations. I was given a price by my doctor of $385 per pair to replace just the lenses in my frames, and that was with my good insurance. When I checked with ReplaceALens, it was going to be $179 for two pairs and insurance was never mentioned. I am very happy with the service, the time turnaround from when I sent the glasses in until they were returned, which was just over a week and a half(had a holiday in there, so it took longer), and with the quality and price. I recommend and will use ReplacALens over and over again. Good job, folks!

I don't often leave glowing reviews of a company, but these guys TRULY deserve praise. I sent my frames off to have the lenses replaced. They contacted me upon receipt and did the work quicker then promised. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the frame, however, they went above and beyond to fix the mistake and sent me a brand-new pair of frames, again, super quickly. I can't recommend this company enough and they are an absolute pleasure to deal with.

The best service out there. I was able to replace the lenses in my favorite frames for less than 1/2 of what my optometrist wanted. The glasses arrived in exactly the time quoted and they seem to be a better quality than what I had before. I got the photo gray lenses and I noticed they get darker than my old pair and return to clear quicker. Over all I'm impressed and will use this service again!

OK, how many more excellent reviews does this place need? 1 more. Here it is: I am one of the lucky ones that lives in Denver that can actually go to their store. Initially found about them online like everyone else. Was tired of paying $400-$600 for Rx glasses and sunglasses like everyone else. Picked out frames(Yes they have frames on the floor to choose from), progressive lenses, anti glare for $238. Brought in some New Wayfarers(I bought these on sale for $110 at the mall) to add mirrored lenses, polarized: $130. Total $240 Great customer service. My optician, Martina was very helpful. Ask for her!!! As a side note, they hooked up an exam for my wife and son for $49 each. The doctor actually diagnosed something called convergence insufficiency on my son and recommended to have it checked out. talk about thorough. Thank you ReplaceALens!!

I am continued to be amazed with this store! I am local and live in Denver Metro, and stop in to deal with them in person. I'm on my third pair of glasses with them. Canceled my vision coverage because these guys beat it every time. They repaired a prescription Oakley frame that I broke, refitted with the new progressive lenses using name brand top quality lenses, and charged me almost $400 dollars LESS than the Mall stores. These are my comments about ReplaceALense: cost effective, wide selection of lens options, excellent workmanship and superb costumer service. Remember, this is not a one hour service, this is a place for well crafted lenses, accept their suggestions. In my case their suggestion was to go with a lower priced lenses for my sunglasses. For pilots, fitting aviator sunglasses with prescription lenses is rather difficult and expensive. LensCrafters initially quoted me $200. Then they said my prescription required a lens that would not fit in the frame I wanted. I refused believe that. I researched online and found ReplaceALens. I bought freeform (a/k/a digital HD) progressives from ReplaceALens and couldn't be happier! Having just been burned by Zenni (avoid at all costs), I was wary this time out, but ReplaceALens restored my faith with excellent work, quality materials, and first-rate customer service. I had a mint-condition pair of Takumi frames with magnetic clip-ons, but the Rx in them was about 3 years out of date. I sent them off to ReplaceALens, taking a chance on a more expensive lens type, the freeform (more customized). I thought I had everything in order - my old glasses, carefully packaged, copy of my order confirmation email. But the day they received my frames (I know because I was tracking the package), RAL both called and emailed me to let me know I had forgotten to enclose my new prescription! Duh! At their request, I emailed it, and they replied right away confirming everything was set. After about a 2-week wait, my new glasses were shipped, and arrived within a couple of days of the ship date. And they're perfect! RAL was able to get my pupillary distance and pupil height off my old lenses, for which I was grateful since I didn't even have my pupil height and had only a self-measured pupillary distance. The freeform progressive adds about $80 to their standard progressive price. I also bought the 1.67 high-index lenses, which added a bit more. With standard anti-glare coating, my bill rang up at a very reasonable $238. I bought a high-end pair of lenses for less than what base level would have cost me in most brick & mortar optical stores. Not to mention most other stores would have balked at using lenses I already owned. I'll probably be buying all my lenses from ReplaceALens!

I replaced my lenses On 1/2019. When I first got my glasses back, the frame was slightly bent around the lens due to a minor misfit. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to be bothered to send it back. Last month, the frame broke right at the bent area of the frame. This is a $500 IC Berlin frame. I was rather upset. So I posted a negative review really just to vent. I never expected anyone from the company would get back to me because it was so long ago. To my total surprise, Alex the manager emailed me back the next morning on a Saturday offered to take a look at the frame and provide a satisfactory solution for me. Upon receiving the damaged frame, even though there’s no way to conclusively prove who was 100% responsible for the damage, Alex examined the frame and concluded that there’s the possibility a mistake was made over a year ago. He offered to get me the exact frame in brand new condition and a set of new lens free of charge. It would’ve cost me over $750. During the entire communication between Alex and I, I can always sense his deep and genuine desire to do the RIGHT thing for his customer, which is truly a rarity. Everything was done timely and hassle free. I’ve never expected this kind of customer service from any company let alone an online company. I purchased 2 pairs of designer frames online and sent them off to replacealens to have my prescription put in them. Well, the prescription that I got from the doctor was incorrect so I was very disappointed. Even though replacealens was not at fault in the slightest (the script as written was accurate in the lenses they put in) they did discount me 50% to replace the lenses again. They even sent back one pair first to have me check and make sure that the new script was accurate before processing the second pair and upgraded my shipping to get them to me quickly. The staff were very friendly and professional through this whole process and the manager that I dealt with (Martina) remembered my name and situation each time we spoke. I can not recommend them highly enough.

I sent my Wiley-X Romer II glasses to ReplaceALens because no local shop would put a prescription lens in the high wrap frame. I received them back today and I couldn't be happier. They look good and even with the wrap frames my vision is clear all the way to the outside edge. Let me begin with Customer Service. Easy to say excellent, except theirs is more than lip service. It's the manner one is talked with (note, I did not use "talked to"), and one is made to feel that they appreciate the business you are both giving each other. My husband have been a customer but it was my first time doing business with them. Two visits and have been amazed with the service. Price : Way cheaper than your regular optical shops. (Have worn contacts and glasses for about 45 yrs., and counting.) Product : Past few yrs., have had to give up wearing contacts and have never found my progressive glasses to be as effective. Well, I now know getting it done right by a knowledgeable person who can truly get the perfect mark/target of your eyes PLUS the right lab, makes a whole lot of difference! My new glasses made me read line 7 of those test boards in optical shops from about 25 feet and that has never happened in all my eyeglasses changes. So, even if it is a longer drive, we definitely will be repeat customers.

I took my new prescription to RelaceALens based on a recommendation from a friend. I was impressed with their selection of frames and pleasantly surprised at the overall cost when I chose my new glasses. When I got them I couldn't see very well through my primary glasses (I had bought some computer and sunglasses and they were fine). Miguel checked them carefully and they were accurate to the script. I wore them for a few more weeks and was still having trouble so I went to a different eye doctor and she gave me a new prescription. This was my second time trying to avoid the absurd pricing for glasses and lenses that even the "discount" brick and mortar stores charge. The first was quite successful with an online store that offered both frames and glasses. I purchased replacement lenses for two pairs of glasses from ReplaceALens, and if there was a "6" rating, I'd give it to them. From the online website, to the folks that I talked with about questions I had, to the ordering process, and, most importantly, the product, perfect! I had normal concerns about the accuracy, quality, fitting, and more by doing it online, but when I talked with a young lady there (can't remember her name), I decided it was a minimal risk. The lenses are the best I've ever had ... period, regardless of price. I had them checked locally for accuracy and they are spot on, and the tech that did the check even commented positively on the "quality" of the lenses. I wear trifocals; something that's not in great favor these days. Most have gone to the progressive lenses when they need multi-focal products, but I've stuck with lined lenses as they work great for me, I'm not self-conscious about the visible lines: at 72, I'm long past worrying about this. But if I were to try progressive lenses again, I wouldn't hesitate to order them from ReplaceALens. They offer the full range of lens materials, coatings, and technology; some that one can't get at all regular stores. Of special note: these are the first set of lenses, EVER, to get the segment lines straight with each other and aligned properly with the frames. Not once before has anyone got this right and I have found that trying to "turn" the lenses to get them straight doesn't last: since they are shaped to the frame, they just go back to crooked after a few hours. This may not be bothersome to many, but, with as much astigmatism as I have, having them off only a small amount affects my vision. All this air to say: I think they are great. I would highly recommend anyone that wants high quality lenses at a reasonable price, give this a go. The most difficult part of the process is getting the pupil distance (PD). Where I live, the none of the eye doctors provide this, and won't! You have to go to a store where they measure it as part of the frame selection and they WON'T do it if you're not buying their frames or lenses: even though, as in my case, I have spent over $5000 in frames and glasses with the store in the past 6 years. If you already have a pair you can send in, ReplaceALens can determine it from them, though. If not, they guide you through doing the measurement yourself or sending them a picture of your face with a reference object for them to estimate the PD. I will do business with them again for my next lens change. While I've, happily, not had to deal with them on any problems, from the reviews, it's clear they are customer oriented. I did talk with them before ordering the lenses about getting the PD, special requests I had about segment height, and a discussion of the various lens materials. I've always gotten my lens made at a local shop, but the features I wanted were expensive. Further, my high prescription required 1.67 High Index lenses, which added a lot to the base expense. I needed anti-glare and transitions for computer and outdoor use, which added to the already high prices. So I decided to do everything electronically for once. With a lot of searching around, I found Replace A Lens and gave it a shot. I got everything I wanted for less than $180! That is a true bargain; to my amazement, the quality of the lens is superior and their craftsmanship thorough. They definitely deserve a five star rating. Got the glasses back in less than two weeks, and they work amazingly well.

This time I ordered a pair of sunglasses lenses for my Maui Jim sunglass frames. I think the total was around $80 or so....I just got them today and they are PERFECT!!!!! Saved around $300-400 from most other places. I also ordered a pair of bifocal glasses and a pair of progressive glasses. I sent a pair of older Oakley and Rayban frames....the result? PERFECT!!!! A tip: I usually get polycarbonate, but since I have a small RX, this time I got the CR-39 plastic..Love it!!!!! Thank you! The CR-39 plastic has better optical clarity and better scratch resistance IF YOU DONT HAVE A high degree of RX, otherwise they are too thick...for me these are great!

The speed and quality of ReplaceALens is far superior to the two other major eyeglass lens replacement services I have used. Not mentioning names but when my glasses took more than 5 weeks I called the other company and they told me their main business was selling complete eyeglasses for as low as $39 and they only replaced lens when they were not busy, despite the fact that my lens cost $200, quite a bit more than $39. ReplaceALens was able to modify the temples on an expensive pair of very thick plastic glasses to make the temple much longer before the curve. They look perfect and you would not know they were modified. This is my second pair and both have been as well priced as any other site and came out perfect and quickly. So unless you want $39 eyeglasses as opposed to getting new lens for your frame, this is the place to go. The customer service is outstanding also.

Absolutely perfect customer service. Its very rare these days to find a company like this, Prices are better than the big scammy glasses stores. I suggest getting cheap frames on Amazon and then investing in quality lenses with Replace-a-lens. I got a $20 sunglasses frame on Amazon that fit well and got Replace-a-lens to put polarized lenses in it so now I have the best most stress-free sunglasses possible. Costco might be about the same price for bifocal/progressive lenses but Costco doesn't do high-wrap or polarized lenses, nor do they ship to your house, ha! I had some high-wrap goggles for biking that were really challenging to find lenses for due to my +4 eye. On their first attempt I wasn't really happy with the results (the lens was too close to my eyelashes) so I explained that to them and sent them back and they solved the problem perfectly. I sent ReplaceALens optical quality reading glasses and asked them to replace the lenses with progressive lenses. Since I am extremely nearsighted, I chose a small frame with 1" vertical lenses, otherwise the edges are too thick even with 1.67 lenses. This was a mere experiment because I like multiple pairs of glasses and cannot afford the $650 usual charge that my prescription requires. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE! Not only did these glasses look better than many that I paid more money for, I can see better with them! I even wore them to an optician (in search of another frame to send to ReplaceALens) and that optician told me that the size of frames I was wearing could only be fitted with single vision. DURING COVID: This place is doing great with COVID; you have to ring a doorbell to enter the building (to limit guests), and they even wipe down the chairs, countertops, etc. Lots of hand sanitizer around. The consultation to get my lenses replaced went well. Chris was super nice and patient. He answered all my questions. Haven’t gotten my lenses back yet; I’m sitting in the parking lot and writing a review because I just saw one of the employees help an elderly woman (with a walker) get down the stairs. I found a good price at ReplaceALens but before I sent them my frames I checked with several places in the Mall in Rochester NY. Cohens said they would meet ReplaceALens price (the only one who would) so I let them do it. When I got them back the prescription was right but it looked like a blind man installed the lenses...big gaps in the fit of the lens to the frame. and grind marks on the edge of the lens. (semi-rimmed). I had a duplicate pair of frames so I sent them to ReplaceALens and when I got them back they were perfect. Now having a pair of glasses to see with I went to Cohens and told them to re-do the 1st pair. When they came back they still had gaps. I took off the pair ReplaceALens did and said to the district rep., "Your competitor did these, this is how they are supposed to look when done right." I got my money back and sent those frames to ReplaceALens...they came back perfect. You live and learn.

I've never been so happy about a lens replacement. I was weary about using an online source, especially one I have never heard of as well a company I have never heard of. After some research, and gathering the materials to complete my purchase, I had to go to Lens Crafters to get my Pupillary Distance. I attempted to see exactly how competitive they would be to achieve my business. They wanted $540 for a LENS REPLACEMENT. No questions asked, no bargaining. My frames were only a year old barely used, and apparently out of production. They told me "we can't get you those lenses, we don't carry them anymore"- Lens Crafters (talk about a misleading name). A Rare Company That Stands Behind Its Product I needed no-line trifocal lenses as an interim solution while my eyes adjusted to a recent operation. I sent in my prescription and mailed in an older but serviceable pair of glasses. The lenses Replace a Lens installed were OK, but the "segment height" (the line where the correction changes from far to middle to near vision) was so low that I had to lift my head to see anything up close. Replace a Lens was very responsive; suggested I send a selfie with the glasses on so they could "eyeball" where to place the correction; emailed a mailing tag to return the glasses at no cost; redid the lenses; and had them back to me in about a week. They're now as close to perfect as one could hope. I am in awe of the company's customer service and urge anyone whose prescription has changed to give it a try.

I had my eyes examined and they gave me the news that if I wanted the same lens manufacture and options, it would cost $460.00...plus tax. If I wanted HD lens it would be $540...plus tax. Seeing as I need to be a good steward of my money, I went to the internet and started to research different manufactures of lens and all the options that go with them. I found ReplaceALens on the "Ask" web page as I was looking over what they said about lens quality and how to know if you're really getting what you pay for, e.g. 2 pair for $99"... I have been an optician for 30 + years and had the recent delight of entering Replace a lens, I basically was there to speak with the General manager Chris.. they were extremely busy and so I just sat down, closed my eyes and waited.. while doing so I heard some of the most profoundly positive and knowledgeable descriptions of how the lenses work and then something even more astonishing was that this patient wanted to purchase multiple pairs and the young man said that it would be best to wait until she had tried the new prescription first, The prices of their frames are fantastic and the same with the lenses. I am thoroughly impressed with this company.
