I love it here!!! I came to get a pair of much needed glasses here about two weeks ago and the process was effortlessly seamless. I was first met with Michael who helped me find what pair I liked most within my price range. He was very well mannered and attentive to my specific needs. Coming back, to get them re-adjusted, I was met with Raul. He helped me get them to the just right, perfect fit. Very nice customer service from Raul, and I could tell that he was genuinely a good guy just from the few conversations I had with him. Everyone one here is very helpful and good at what they do. I would highly recommend Optical Masters!!!!

Just wanted to give a shout out to these guys! Thank you Robin and Mike. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I scratched my cornea Tuesday night and my doctor told me I can’t wear my contacts for at least a couple of weeks. After contacting many places, no one could get me glasses same day or even the same week. My friend Libby told me try these guys and I went in there, got what I needed UNDER my budget in less than an hour. It was worth the hour long drive from Boulder, where I live. And they had a big selection for my price range. I definitely recommend them!

My boyfriend was in the hospital and unfortunately he lost his glasses. He has a very high eye prescription his eyes are horrible! I called around and everyone told me 2-3 weeks and when I called these guys they said they can do it within an hour. I went in that same day with his prescription and they got it done within 45 minutes and got a great deal. Shout out to them for saving the day with such short notice. I highly recommend this place! UPDATE: I am pleased to share that Optical Masters reached out to me seemingly determined to get it right and invited me back in for another redo. Michelle seemed genuinely interested in helping me to be happy with their product and able to see (which aligns with my goals as well). Fingers crossed the 4th time will be the charm. Initial Review: So disappointed with my "progressive" glasses. My request was for bi-focals where the bottom 1/3 of my eyeglasses were for reading and top 2/3 of my glasses were for distance. Robin suggested I try the progressive glasses that removed the bi-focal line and had a small transition from the lower 1/3 to top 2/3. It sounded great so I spent the extra money and ordered what she recommended. I was disappointed to learn that the coupon they sent to lure me in wasn't applicable to the glasses I chose - something in the fine print. After 2 weeks I went to try them on and they were awful. Blurry everywhere. She looked at them and said they made a mistake and they would remake them. 2 weeks later I received my 'fixed glasses' and the had the bottom 1/8 clear for reading, a narrow band in the middle of the glasses that were clear for distance and everything above/below the clear band was blurry. So moving from the bottom of the glasses up it goes thin range of reading, blurry, thin range of distance, and blurry. When I described this, I was told I would get used to them. I tried to get used to them for a couple weeks and it didn't help. When I went back for the 3rd time they said they had already remade them once (which wasn't my fault) but would (begrudgingly) do it again. Hurray! I explained what I was seeing, I explained all I wanted was top 2/3 for distance and bottom 1/3 for reading but without the bi-focal line and they said no problem. I went back 2 weeks later and the new glasses were just like the first ones that were blurry everywhere. At my wits end, I asked if they still had the 'reading-blurry-distance-blurry' lenses because I would take those over the blurry everywhere and that is what I have today. I can't wear them - I went back to my old glasses and have accepted I wasted $600+. I'd give them one star but the sunglasses they made with only distance work great so there's an extra star for that. Dissatisfied customer for sure. :(

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Optical masters!!! I give them 10 stars!!!! I needed new glasses for my work and came in on a Wednesday night and ordered 5 pair. Everything was ready by noon the following day! Robin took the time to let me try on at least 200 different frames. The next day when I picked them up, Michael took the time to adjust each pair until it was exactly how I needed them, and specific to my comfort. Josh answered questions and the entire staff did an amazing A++ job of making me feel welcome, helped and getting me what I needed. I will be buying all my glasses here from now on. I would easily recommend this place to any anyone. They were quick as I recived a contact and regular eye exam within the same appointment. I left my prescription sunglasses at home for our family vacation. My wife called all over Denver to see if it was possible the get my prescription filled in a good looking frame. Not to mention we were only in Denver for a very short period before headed to the mountains. I was unexpectedly in need of a new pair of glasses QUICKLY. I called an absurd amount of stores (probably close to 25) but no one that I spoke to offered same day service. Most of the stores that I called quoted me 2-3 weeks out for my prescription.Optical masters not only offered same day service, but I had a new set in my hand within ONE HOUR. I was blown away. Phenomenal selection & their customer services truly set them apart from any other store Ive been to in the past. Robin is a superstar. She hooked me up with a pair of RayBans; I got the thin & lightweight lenses with blue glare coating for less than $200.00. I would seriously recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing experience and the fastest turnaround time in town, literally.

I’ve gone to optical masters FOR YEARS, because they provide EXCELLENT customer service. I would like to speak of one individual in particular. His name is Michael Mestas. I had cataract surgery, and now I have mono vision, so I can read like a teenager. That was fine, but I needed Blue light blocking glasses. He was very professional. He showed me two different types blue light blocking glasses. He allowed ME to determine which one would work best for me. He did not try to push any of the particular two types. I went with the more expensive pair, after he explained THOROUGHLY what I wanted to know. It was quite busy that day with customers coming in, and he was having to attend to them. He NEVER forgot that I was there. He constantly returned to me in between customers to see how I was doing. He was quite knowledgeable explaining transition lenses and glares. I only came in for blue Blocker glasses, but ended up buying two more pairs of glasses from him, because of his professionalism and being quite knowledgeable. It is OBVIOUS, he CARES & VALUES his customers!!

After having an unpleasant experience at another location Michelle and Michael the managers at the Monaco location treated me and my family like we’ve been customers of theirs for five years (it has been about five years). They payed attention with great detail and incomparable hospitality to the comport and sense of welcome to me and my family. We all have our own style of glasses and I’ll admit we are each extremely picky but when it comes to things like glasses that you’ll be wearing for the next few years Michael and Michelle seemed to have a great understanding to this and did not care when we each tried on about 30 pairs of glasses to find the right ones. I would again, I felt cared for at every step of the buying process for contacts, for the first time. Contacts are a hard thing to buy the first time but after their guidance, the overall process while tedious is expertly handled. The bubbly staff alone, makes the experience fun. I was going to give this a one star review, but they corrected their error quickly. I picked up a pair of glasses that I paid over $200 for and one lense has a huge, swooping scratch on it. The other lense had three or four pits in it. Also, one of the nose pads was crooked. It was like they gave me someone’s used glasses! I took them back and they did redo them for me in one hour, which is why I gave them three stars instead of one.

It took me some time to figure out where I wanted to go for new glasses. I called another eyeglass company and I just couldn't take the risk due to their rudeness. I decided to call Optical Masters, spoke with Mike and his helpfulness and squeezing me in was all it took. I arrived at Optical Masters and an anticipated pleasant experience became phenomenal. This staff is spot on, it is clear they love what they do, and they want to share that passion with their customers. To every single one of them, kudos! Robin helped me tremendously and her personality and flare made the time go by so quickly. Needless to say, I bought 3 pairs of glasses and the deals to make it affordable were highly appreciated. If you want superior service by a team of professionals who go beyond the limit, Optical Masters is the way to go. As a side note - this location gets busy so make some time, be patient, be friendly and your experience will be as phenomenal as mine. I was in and out in about an hour and a half, for a last minute appointment - impressive. Unfortunately when I got my glasses back they had the wrong lens in them. I was able to return and get a proper pair within 2-3 days. Got a personal phone call from the manager Michelle. She apologized and said that she wanted to work with me to make sure I was happy. They went beyond to make sure that everything was set right. I had a wonderful experience at Optical Masters! Everything from the Doctor who did my exam to purchasing my glasses was a smooth and easy process! They had TONS of frames to pick from, I think I was there for almost 2 hours because there were so many choices! The prices were also very reasonable.They had my glasses ready 2 days later and when I went in to pick them up, they adjusted them to my face and hooked me up with a case and cleaning spray! I have been going Optical Masters for the past 8 years, and a year ago I made the mistake of going to another place because I moved further away and it was closer to my house. What a mistake that was! I soon realized the quality, service and the selection at optical masters is next to none. I usually won’t review unless it’s excellent or worst. Here it’s exceptional. I shopped in 5 stores and this one by far has wide gamut of collection and is best. Prices are competitive and they got a pair for everyone. They also gave free single focus lens with purchase of frame. The manager Michelle was great and explained things very clearly. There was a tiny scratch on the frame but since it’s the last pair, I bought it anyway. After 2 days they called me it’s ready and when I looked voila!, scratch is gone. They painted the scratch evenly and it’s now in pristine condition. This is surprise and delight. 100% recommended. Edit: after few months the frame broke. It was too fragile. I should’ve taken another frame

All I can say is WOW!!! I love it when you walk in and the staff greets you with a smile! Then I looked around this large store and saw what seemed to be thousands of frames. The lady at the front counter (I feel bad that I didn't catch her name) was extremely helpful, got me in for a walk in exam straight away. The exam was effortless. The staff helped me to understand the wide range of prices available to me. They have frames as low as $49.00. My tastes are a little on the high end, So I wanted to be directed to the best and purchased a BEAUTIFUL Face/ Face frame. My glasses were done in an hour. I HIGHLY recommend going here!!! I was having some pretty major problems with some glasses I purchased and went to Johnny and Neil at the University location to address the situation. It was something that was a bit unusual and rather than treating me like there was something wrong with my eyes, or the way I was wearing the glasses on my face, they started ground up and worked with me...even though it dug into their profits. Not only were they completely professional, but open arms to get everything figured out and corrected with NO ADDED COSTS. They truly just wanted me to have a proper pair of glasses and they definitely delivered. If it weren't for these guys, I would have had a much different opinion of my experience. If you want to be treated properly and professionally, this is your place. I found them to have a great selection of frames and know they will do the best when it comes to lenses. Thank you guys!

Being new to Denver, I didn’t know where to go for new frames and prescription sunglasses. My neighbor recommended Optical Masters on the corner of Monaco and Leetsdale, and insisted I ask for Robin. When we arrived, ironically, we were greeted by Robin. The store was very busy but I felt like the only customer there based on the level of attention I received. Robin was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I must have tried on 20 different frames as she observed and listened. I actually found three pair that I really loved, 2 prescription frames and 1 pair of prescription sunglasses. Robin took note of my style and brought over a pair of Prada frames that I absolutely couldn’t live without. My son was with me and he couldn’t bare leaving empty handed. All and all we walked away ordering 4 pair of frames and was pleasantly surprised to hear, they’d be ready the next day. They have a great selection, unheard-of pricing and friendly-professional staff, it made the process of ordering new glasses a breeze. Excellent experience. Friendly staff and great doctor. Once I got my glasses I felt like my one eye was a bit off. They were happy to recheck my prescription and update the one lens at no cost to me. I went to 2 of the big chain stores the last 2 times getting glasses and I wasn't impressed. One couldn't get my progressives lines right and the other lenses scratched the first week, due to cheap material used. From the doctor visit, to picking out frames and add ons to paying and finally to actually wearing and getting used to them, Optical Masters became my new goto place for eye care!

I was really happy with the service last year, when I got new lenses and frame. The frame broke ( due to heavy use on my part, not a frame defect) and when I went back for repair, the new, younger sales person told me that the frame was discontinued and she would donate my glasses. I have a very strong correction and progressive lenses, and did not want to lose $700 plus worth of lenses. A second young man did a cursory search for a replacement frame, then said that they no longer carry the frame and it is no longer being made, and he wanted me to start over as well. I retrieved my broken glasses, found the exact frame still available online, and ordered it so that my valuable lenses can be used again.

I brought two pair of glasses in to have the prescriptions updated. The progressives turned out great, the computer glasses did not. I returned the next day. They determined that the lab had made an error and the lenses were replaced that same day by mid afternoon. These guys are awesome. Unfortunately I had to take my 18 month old son with me to get my eye exam done. Normally he is really good in New places but he quickly had a melt down as the eye exam began. The staff could have asked me to reschedule but instead they came into the exam room, and entertained him while I finished my exam. Failed to provide both of original lenses after purchase. Had lenses replaced for specific need in a pair of glasses, spent well over $200. Was told original lenses were in box when I picked glasses up. Went to put original lenses back in, but only found one in box. When I called the store, I was told that I would have needed to call back within a couple of days for purchase. Only help they offered was that they could call Oakley and find out how much a pair of replacement lenses would cost. I proceeded to ask if they would at the very least give me a discount on these due to their mistake and they said no. Very poor customer service. Update - was called the next day by Michelle who apologized and indicated that they would replace the lenses, and send directly to me. She went out of her way to apologize, and took care of the issue. All I can ask for.

Non intrusive, thorough, scheduled eye exam for today via website Sunday (Closed) but was contacted Monday and agreed to the appointment.... Arrive around 11:42 pm.... Fill out basic paperwork and wait only 3 minutes past 12pm which is very considerate and respectfully effeciant!.... The eye exam was comfortable even with the dilation test and I hate those tests!... Lol... Afterward, I get ready to pay for the Member Package which gives me discounts for future service and they actually have my perscription ready! I even get to test out the contact lenses prior to purchase and walk out paid in full, ready to contribute more towards the 3 year investment, but also have 3 months until I need to buy more contact lenses! I could pay all that in 1 month from now and upgrade that play for 20 more dollars and get a set of glasses as well!.... *** Let me preface this review by stating that the eye exam with Dr. Frank was a good experience. That aside, this review focuses on the sales experience. *** Optical Masters has a very wide selection of lenses, frames, contacts, and sunglasses for a local brick-and-mortar retail store. Within that selection, the variety of brands is surprising. They advertise (and honor) decent sales for off brand frames and very basic lenses for those that cannot afford more premium options. However, the prices for designer frames are much more expensive than what can be found online (for the same brands and models of frames) and even locally at national retailers like Lenscrafters. To illustrate, a Prada frame that I was interested in is priced at $369 at Optical Masters. The exact same frame (model and color) is available at Lenscrafters for $255. Online, it can be found through Amazon or Frames Direct between $145 and $195. If you are not already aware, the vast majority of designer frames are made by Luxottica and rebranded, so all you are paying for is the name. This is fine with me as I am ready, willing, and able to do so, but the markup that Optical Masters selects is unreasonable. Despite the level of competition from online, national, and other local retailers, Optical Masters does not participate in price matching. While I fully understand the need to account for brick-and-mortar overhead costs (electricity, Internet access, display cases, leasing retail space, paying employees' sales commission, etc.), Optical Masters should be more competitive with its pricing. With respect to the lenses and coatings it offers, the markup is virtually the same. Optical Masters overcharges in comparison to local, national, and online retailers. The level of service is adequate, but does not justify the premium paid. In short, if you are looking for a quick and economical solution for 2 pairs of basic eyeglasses for $89, this might be the store for you. However, if you want designer frames, many other options exist for more favorable pricing and potentially better service. You are best served by having your eye exam ($39, $15 more for dilation, more for contact fitting) at Optical Masters, getting a copy of your prescription, and shopping for frames and lenses elsewhere.
