The exam was great!! I liked how the optometrist offered me samples instead of having me go out and purchase the actual samples on my own. My only complaint is that the person assisting me with the new eye ware I had paid in advance to purchase; I found it odd that this person did not want to assist in repairing existing eye ware. The simple repair only consist of repairing the temples of the eye ware because the right temple was crooked and/or bent, and the response from that person was that she didn’t want to break the temples if she repaired. Please correct me if I am wrong, but if you are experienced in repairing eye wear why would the person be concerned with breaking anything? And if the person was not experienced repairing eye ware, how come she didn’t refer to someone else in the office to repair what I needed?

I have been a patient of Dr. Michael Berk for over 35 years and he and his staff have always taken very good care of my eyes. They found a problem early and surgery was able to correct it. When I’m in need of new glasses the staff is always willing to help me pick something that looks great on me. Thank you to the entire staff.

I've been a patient of Dr. Errington for about 10 years now. She is thorough and efficient. Very friendly and explains everything in terms we all can understand. The staff at Berk Eye Care Center are all very friendly and helpful. I had a visit yesterday and was very impressed with the precautions that were in place. From the temperature check at the door, to the partition at the checkout counter, it made me feel they truly care about both patients and staff. Highly recommend!!!

A few years ago I was searching for an eye doctor to go to, on my family physician's request. I had not been for years and years sadly. Honestly I found Berk Eye Care by looking for somewhere close to home. I could not be happier! Dr. Errington is amazing and caught a potential issue I could have later. She is on it though so I feel very confident in her care. The entire staff is very friendly, caring and professional. Highly recommend this practice! 5 stars for sure!!

Dr. Berk was INCREDIBLE! Super comprehensive exam, listened to all my concerns and went over all test results in great detail. Not sure this was a thing.... guess that's why his name is in the practice for multiple locations! I feel confident in the care I got, and given family history, that's a big deal.

I have been going to Berk Eyecare for about 8 years. Dr Berk himself is a very nice and professional man. I now go to the East location and I love the professionalism of the staff. Getting my contact lens prescription right is a daunting task since I have astigmatism but the Dr. Is always patient. I love my optician who helps me pick out my glasses, she too is patient. I just have an overall good experience with the staff at both locations and I will continue to use them and recommend Dr. Berk Eyecare.

I wanted to try contacts again after trying them many years ago. I wear bifocals and have some issues with dry eye, so I wasn't easy to fit. Dr. Errington worked tirelessly with me, trying many different kinds and strengths, all for one affordable price. I have also had great experiences with exams and glasses from Berk Eyecare. . I have been going to Berk Eye Care Center for two years now and have had mixed experiences. Scott Hanes, O.D. is great, he very thorough and courteous. He took the time to answer all my questions. Would definitely recommend him to friends and family. Last year when I purchased my glasses through Berk, the staff was very helpful and responsive, though I felt the glasses were overpriced. Which let to my problems this year. Given the cost of the a single pair of glasses at Berk I decided to try to purchases glasses online, just to see how it went. Scott Hanes, O.D. did my annual eye exam, same as the year before. I told him I was going to try purchasing my glasses online this year and asked for a copy of my script, which he made sure I received. When I went to order my glasses through Zenni (an online optical store) I realized the script didn't have the pupillary distance (PD) and while the site goes into great detail of explaining how you can measure it yourself I felt it would be more accurate to get it from Berk since I ordered my glasses there the previous year. When I called Berk to get my PD the receptionist that answered the phone put me on hold to look it up and then came back and told me that they couldn't give me my PD and that measuring it is a service they offer when you buy glasses from Berk. When I made the statement "that's very disappointing given that I get my eye exam's from Berk and have bought glasses there previously so I know you have it on record", she said "sorry" and hung up on my. I immediately called back and asked to speak to the office manager. I was put on hold for 10 minutes when I just hung up. Later that same day I called Crowley Vision Center in Reynoldsburg, I hadn't been seen there in over two years, the receptionist looked up my PD and provided it to me in about 20 seconds. Guess you can figure out where I'll be going for my eye exam next year. It should also be noted that I was able to purchase seven pairs of glasses from Zenni for about the same price as one pair from Berk. Of the seven, six are of high quality, the seventh pair will be returned. In my book Scott Hanes, O.D. gets five stars, the rest of the staff gets one star, hence the three star rating.

Stacie is always kind and thorough. This was a recheck from a recent eye infection (and sinus infection). The antibiotic drops her colleague prescribed, along with a script from the Little Clinic for a sinus infection, knocked out all infections. I healed in record time! Yay!
