The office staff is amazing and you’re warmly greeted upon entry. The doctor is kind and takes his time during the exam. He welcomed my questions and filled in the gaps when I wasn’t sure of what to specifically ask him. For several months, I had been looking for a new eye doctor but wasn’t having the best of luck until I happened to come across several positive posts about Eyes on the Lake. I’m extremely happy with the services provided by the doctor and his dynamic office staff.

My family and I are new to the area. Finding new doctors is always a stressful task. Well we have successfully solved our Eye Care. This place is truly amazing. The greatest staff and doctors we have ever encountered. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and felt comfortable. The exam was detailed and the doctor explained everything. They have a great selection of frames and have great pricing options. They even played music for our 3 year old daughter to keep her busy. To say we were impressed and satisfied is an understatement. We are so thankful we found Eyes on the Lake. Thank you for the amazing care and service.

Excellent staff. Excellent Dr. They explain beforehand how it works if you opt in or out of dilation and etc. If you decide to go elsewhere to try new frames they'll print a hard copy of your current Rx. Entire staff was very pleasant to be around! Great location. Will go back next year.

I will recommend everyone I know to Eyes On The Lake. I walked in to my son’s appointment with all 4 of my kids ages 7 to 1 when the sitter fell through, they were so accommodating and sweet. I felt my son received an excellent exam, much better than the previous place we went in Irmo(which had his eye prescription all wrong). Eyes On The Lake made sure he got a correct exam, and the glasses prices for kids was phenomenal. Not to mention they went above and beyond to make sure my others kids didn’t feel left out by giving them sunglasses and ‘eye’ balls!! I can not say enough good things about them!

Wonderful Experience!!! I was referred here for a dry eye issue and I absolutely can't say enough about how great this team is! The office is gorgeous, and each member of the team is outgoing, accommodating, friendly, and warm. So refreshing! Seems harder and harder to find qualities like this these days (the optometrist office we used to use didn't go out of their way in any shape or form for us, even in an acute situation, and were highly unprofessional many times). Dr. Daniels, and team are very professional, knowledgeable, FANTASTIC customer service! We were so comfortable and happy, our family has switched to this office for our eye care needs from now on, despite the fact we live in Elgin and they are in Irmo. WELL worth the drive! Highly recommend.

My experience with this company has been nothing but outstanding, the doctor does a great job of listening to your problems and not just getting you in and out, he really takes the time to understand your concerns and questions. The staff in the front are absolutely welcoming and amazing and they take the time to make sure they have your insurance information correct and provide you with accurate quotes and prices... I would highly highly recommend anyone to this company if you need to get your eyes checked!

One well- run operation. This was my second time visiting Eyes on the Lake, the staff and Doctor Daniel’s are very friendly. Doctor Daniel’s explained the pictures that were taken of my eyes, the blood vessels the optical nerve etc I am pre diabetic so this was important to me. Highly recommend for eye care.

Had an absolutely amazing experience both times I visited Eyes on the Lake ! First time I had an emergency visit because I got metal piece in my eye . When I called the office they made room for me in the schedule to make sure they help my issue . Second visit I had eye heath check up that went very well . Everyone at Eyes on the Lake was very nice and professional. I was greeted immediately as I walked in the door. The technician was ready right away and was very friendly. He explained everything and answered any questions that I had regarding the tests he was doing on my eyes. The doctor was also very nice and thorough with my eye exam. He explained what was shown on the pictures of my eyes. He was very patient and didn't seem to be rushing at all. Susan (I only remember her name because it's my middle name) helped me find a great pair of glasses with clip on sunglasses. My appointment was at 10:30 and I was back home before 11:30. I am very impressed with how easy it was to get an appointment and at how quickly I was seen, without having to sit and wait at all. Can't wait to get my new glasses.

They worked me in the next day and quickly diagnosed my issue. They made arrangements with a specialist while I waited. I was seen at my set appointment time and was out in under an hour. If you have ever been to the doctors office you know how important it is to have professional staff no matter their job in that office. From technicians to secretaries they all are so important. I have not been to an eye doctor since my most unpleasant experience with the staff at an Irmo Ophthalmologist. I was told by the doctor, three years ago that I could not go any further with my contacts. I finally decided to reach out to Dr. Daniels. For the first time in three years I can see without the use of readers because Dr. Daniels got it right! Not only is he professional and amazing, his staff is beyond professional! They are always cleaning and making sure you are in a safe environment. They are all friendly and my contacts were ready in two days! I am so glad to have found Dr. Daniels and his team!!

I recently went to Dr. Daniels at Eye's on The Lake. I started wearing glasses in fifth grade and changed to contacts in junior high school. Dr. Daniels examined me and fitted me for contacts a week ago. He discovered that my last prescription was incorrect and I am thrilled to report my headaches are gone. In the past I did bring this to the attention of the prior optometrist and I was told that my prescription was correct. I did not mention that I had recurring headaches to Dr. Daniels. I didn't think it was my prescription. However, it was clearly the prescription of my contacts that were causing the headaches! The staff is also so kind and friendly. I am so happy that Dr. Daniels office is located in Ballentine. I live in Chapin and it is convenient and they are fabulous! 5 STARS!
