I heard about Eyemart from a family member. Went there today for the first time with my eye prescription in hand and left with two stylish and quality pairs of glasses thanks to Madhu! Best of all, I really was impressed by the affordability of the glasses without compromising the style... and my glasses were ready in 40 minutes. I paid in full, but it is nice to know they had some no interest payment plans available.

Ist the greeting was pleasing, she was helpful while I looked for a new pair of glasses .She was knowledgeable with very good experiences. She did her job very well getting me ready to have new glasses sent away with my lenses measurement(s) and prescription information in new glasses. The price was good and I left happy and satisfy with overall great service and such a wonderful attitude from your employee. Then when return to pick up glasses that employee was great also. I always yearly come to Eyemart Express to purchase new glasses. Thanks!!

They were VERY helpful! I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 2 years old. I believe that this is the 1st time no adjustment was needed. I was thrilled. It used to take 2 weeks for my glasses to be made. I was surprised when they called in an HOUR to tell me they were ready! I’d recommend them to anyone

My first experience with EyeMart was awesome! I was assisted immediately and helped through the entire process. Anastasia found frames for me that fit perfectly and their prices beat any of the other optical shops I had been to. And the opticians had my frames ready in 15 minutes?!? Will definitely return when the need arises.

I had the pleasure of working with Madhu who helped me buy 2 pairs of glasses and lenses; she also took the time to go over my insurance and made a plan for me to save money! After a twenty min. wait at Stanton, I was told my appointment had been canceled! I walked to Eyemart express and have never been treated better! These ladies on a Saturday were exceptionally helpful and actually found a way to save me money. The glasses that were supposed to be ready in an hour, took about 20 mins. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this staff or Eyemart Express! What a great experience!

Most mom and pop optometrists are like car dealerships - they won’t give you your prescription because they want you to get glasses from them and worse those glasses take 3 weeks to get to you. That’s been my experience for decades. Thankful for Eyemart though. After dealing with optometrists getting my basic pair of single vision glasses wrong - and having to wait another 3 weeks i went to Eyemart with my prescription rx. My local optometrist advised me against going to one of these stores. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to him. I researched several places like Stanton Optical and just kept seeing positive reviews at EM. So The Harbison store is well run and have down to earth people. I like that a lot. You don’t get hounded by people who want to sell you - they actually seemed to care. In fact I was desperate because I couldn’t see out of my current ones. They told me they could get one done in an hour. And another one with hi index in 3 weeks. One hour? Wow! It was 5:30pm as well when I desperately walked in. Later found out one lady was the general manager. The vibe in there was completely different from the usual place. With a good manager you usually end up with a good team and that’s what I saw. They got me in quickly and within an hour I got a text at 6:20 that it was ready. I was so happy. I could see! Initially I was having problems seeing but the general manager worked on my glasses a little more to get it right. And she did! I can finally see. After months of seeing thru scratched up lenses and waiting for the other optometrist to get it done right - The plastic lenses worked! Definitely beats paying $800 and waiting 6 weeks. with a basic frame and plastic lenses you’re paying a fraction of what mom and pop stores would charge. I might drop back in later and get a few more cause after wearing mine for a couple weeks it’s been fantastic. This is the only place in Columbia that was willing to get me in quick especially give my high -10+ prescription. Most peoples that promise one hour glasses can’t even do -10 or more prescription RXs. Eyemart can and I wish I could give them more stars

I’ve been shopping at Eyemarts around America for years and customer service is never an issue. This time I had the pleasure of working with Anastasia and she was nothing short of excellent. Very patient and helped me on multiple visits, she remembered my name, my style preference and my glasses size. She didn’t mind taking what felt like every single pair of glasses off the shelve and in the drawers and never making me feel like a bother or an inconvenience, which I was being. She is a gem and I couldn’t thank her enough. Lastly my glasses were ready in under an hour so a big thanks to the techs as well.

I had a terrific experience at Eye Mart Express on Harbison. The Store Associate Madhu was so helpful, kind and patient that I felt confident that my glasses would be top notch! I picked out one frame, and then she told me that I got a free one for the price of the one frame!! The total price was less that half of the price from another retailer!! The icing on the cake is that the glasses were finished in 20 min! I love my new Eye Mart Express glasses!!

The initial visit when I chose my frames was excellent. However, when I picked up my glasses the experience was not the same. I was not asked to have a seat, I had to stand at the counter while I tried on the glasses and while one pair was adjusted. There was ample seating available that would have been socially distanced from the other clients. I will not be returning to this location nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Dr Valerie Gallo and eye mart were able to dial in and correct my vision that other doctor said would not happen with my extreme eye condition because of a scar on my eye not only did they fix it but was able to get my glasses the same day

When I tell you they were the BEST! So I had a appointment at Stanton Optical & when I walked in they told me they canceled my appointment because they were over booked. Of course I was mad & left.As im leaving I see Eyemart. I told the woman at the desk I was upset and what happened. She squeezed me right in and said if I can wait 30 mins I can be seen. The whole office was friendly. They truly made my day. They made me feel very welcomed. Then when I went over to pick my glasses they ran to me & was ready to jump in and help me. The best part was you could get your glasses the same day! They have amazing prices. They said my glasses would be done in a hour but it only took 20 mins. I definitely will be back, they have a new customer for sure. I couldn’t find ANYTHING wrong about this place or the workers. If I could give them 100 stars I would.

I unexpectedly broke my glasses (progressive lenses). I could not find my prescription. My doctor’s office said they could fax it directly to location that would make my glasses. I went to Eyemart. When I got there I found I had to wait until later in the day when the doctor had finished with patients to get the prescription. Eyemart fit me in for an eye exam. My prescription was difficult so could not be made on-site, but they were able to make me a pair of single vision glasses in an hour that would allow me to see long distance. They were life savers. I especially thank Brittany and Anne for their help. But everyone I worked with was kind, considerate and helpful.

I had a wonderful experience here. My mom lost her glasses after a horrible car accident and needed something immediately due to not being able to see without them. Anne helped us and she was so super sweet and nice. She was very personable and genuinely cared about helping us. On top of all of this the glasses were ready in 21 minutes which was amazing! It was not easy for my mom to get around due to the injuries from her accident. When we arrived to pick the glasses up Anne saw us struggling to get out of the car and immediately brought the glasses outside to us. I was absolutely stunned. She not only brought them to us she allowed her to try them on in the car and checked the fit as well. We didn’t have to move at all. It is not everyday that you see this kind of customer service. I am so thankful for Anne and how much she cared. I will most definitely recommend!

My lenses are a progressive bifocal and I have high index lenses, due to my distance prescription is so bad. This is my second pair with the progressive lenses. I can see well with them. I took my mother to get her glasses and the staff were very helpful. My mom picked out her frames, which were very reasonably priced. She got the progressive lenses, scratch-free lenses, with a tint, in 2 frames for less than $235. We left to go eat and was sent a text message when the glasses were ready. It took them about 1 hour to have both pair ready and my mom was extremely pleased with the quality of the frames and customer service. Will definitely go again!!

Visiting SC from Buffalo NY when my glasses were chewed by host dog! Needed Glasses and Eye exam because my prescription was out of date. Called a few places but could not get the glasses for 10 days to two weeks. Noticed some nice deals at a place called Eyemart on Harbison Blvd. so I called and got an appointment for an eye exam the next day at 2 o’clock. By 7 o’clock I was headed home with a nice pair of glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses. They were both made within a couple hours and best price I ever paid. Everyone was very helpful and very pleasant and nice to work with. Crystal was very knowledgeable and helpful also. Definitely would give this more stars if I could. Five star product and five star service. Thank you so much Eyemart !!

I must say I was a little hesitant after reading some of the negative reviews but overall Eyemart Express how a better rating then other local businesses. I called to make an appointment for my son and they were able to him that same afternoon. They were nothing but friendly and professional and did not try to push all the extra add-on down on throat. I knew the price of the eye exam before going in and they even honored a back to school special for glasses for my son who is way beyond that age. Great price for a years worth of contacts with rebate! Will be back!

When I went to choose my glasses there were only 2 people waiting on customers so the wait was a little long. The lady that helped me was very nice. She explained my insurance benefits and was very patient while I made my decision. When I picked up my glasses she waited on me again and made sure my glasses fit properly and were comfortable. I had a good experience. I was greeted and assisted within a reasonable period of time. The store was very busy so I had to wait longer that I had expected but everything went well. When my name was called during my initial visit, another customer was assisted because she approached the associate and she did not tell the associate that she was not the person whose name was called. I waited for a short time in order to observe what would happen next. Within minutes, I approached another associate to explain what happened and she was very apologetic. She assisted me as soon as she completed the task that she was involved in at that moment. I was pleased that the associate apologized for what happened. Both pair of my glasses were ready within less than 2 hours of me exiting the store. When I returned to the store to pickup my glasses. I was in and out of the store within one hour. The store was still very busy. I had a good experience. The staff was cordial and polite. The service was good. The prices were reasonable. I was treated like a valued customer.

This place is amazing. The eye exam was quick & easy. I was in & out. I was able to pick up my glasses in about 1 hour after I order them. There is a variety & style of glasses to choose from. I was able to get two pairs of glasses, with transitions lenses for a unbeatable price. Crystal made my visit very easy and simple. She was so helpful & patient with me. She was able to explain to me which lenses would work better for my prescription, which style looked the best on me & prices for my budget. I did picked out the Fendi frames, but I put them back because the lenses weren't in stock, but Crystal was able to accommodate me & get the lenses that I needed. She didn't charge me for those lenses since they weren't in stock. I was now able to get the Fendi glasses for half the price. (Such a sweet deal) I will return back.

Good customer service on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. Will allow you to browse frames and lense options while waiting on a representative to assist you. Although intended as a backup pair, I can honestly see with my glasses better than I can through my eye contacts from an alternate source. Should have gone with the 2 for $39 and got a pair of sun glasses.

I was assisted by two very sweet young ladies, one by the name of Crystal and the other I believe was a manager but I did not catch her name. However, they made what would have been a long tedious experience after an even longer day of work, fun and worthwhile. The two of them actually helped me pick out two pairs of frames that were not only stunning but fit my face very well. Because of this my confidence received a bit of a boost. 😅 The process was not very lengthy at all and I appreciate them for making my experience a great one. I’ll definitely be back!

Our 1st visit was awesome. Brittany was very helpful and knowledgeable. When we picked up the glasses, they were off due to prescription error. Spoke with Christi over the phone the next day. She was very polite, helpful and patient. 2nd visit to have lenses corrected- Christi wasn't work and no one had a clue what I was talking about. Was told a phone call would be place to Christi and we would receive a call back. 3rd visit, because we didn't get a call back, after waiting 45 minutes, again since no one knew what I was talking about, we left due to my husband getting irritated (the glasses were for him). Well today, i called before going in because I didn't want to make ANOTHER unsuccessful trip- i heard Anna the one who answered the phone tell another coworker i was being "nasty" to her because i was asking her question. Which i did inform her that i heard what she said and didn't appreciate the lie, which she claims she "caught herself" and quess I didnt hear that part. Any hoot, Christi and Brittany were working when we went in. Christi remembered who I wad. Although the correct prescription had to be faxed over again (2 time couldn't be found), and more glasses had to be picked out (the original pair couldn't be found either), the customer service we received from Christi and the store manager Doriss, was so awesome not only did we get the correct glasses, we ended up purchasing a pair of prescription motorcycle glasses and a backup pair. Within 2 hours we walked out with 4 pair of glasses total.

When I arrived at Eyemart Express on Harbison Blvd. in Columbia, SC, there were several families waiting for assistance. We browsed the store for a short while before being approached by an associate. She greeted us with a smile and sincerely apologized for our wait. The associate who assisted us was a delight to converse with. She was genuinely friendly and had an upbeat personality. While searching for just the right pair of frames, the associate did a great job at advising as to which frame might be the most appropriate for our situation and provided her reasoning for the same. She demonstrated a high level of knowledge about the various products discussed. She listened attentively to what we had to say and focused on our needs throughout the visit without any interruptions. She did not try to override our decisions, but did a good job at advising us, as we went along through the process of finding the right pair of glasses. The associate promised our glasses would be ready by noon on the next day. They were ready for pick up as promised. When we arrived to pick up the glasses, there were quite a few people waiting to be served. After waiting forty-five minutes, we were able to get the glasses adjusted for a comfortable fit. The associate who adjusted the glasses, provided us with a case and cleaning cloth, and then showed us how to best care for them. I found this experience with Eyemart Express to be a positive one. I would certainly make another purchase with them again. The overall service was excellent and the final end product looked good. I think we received good value for the money spent on the glasses today. Prices were quite reasonable and the products were of good quality. I would definitely recommend this store location to friends and family.

We really like our experience with Eye mart Express. Everyone at this location was extremely nice. Chad waited on us, and he spent the time to give us the better cost. I still paid a lot, since my husband''s insurance is not that good anyway. He had several strokes in 2016, and we had already been to Walmart on Sunset Blvd. in Lexington. They were not able to filled the prescription after being told twice that they would be ready in 10 days or less. I got our money back there after the second time. Eye mart Express was able to fill the prescription and only took 4 hours to fill it!

These guys did a great job after a bad experience with Americas Best. I wanted to get the basic cheapest package but could not get prices on lens options from them. Then I said forget it and just let me pay for the prescription only and they would not let me for 45 minites. I am disabled, and on oxygen and they would keep trying to up sell me.
