I have been here twice now for my annual eye exam and both experiences were great! The Drs. are so kind and the staff out-front are patient as I search the shelves in hopes of finding the pair I want. Then they show and explain the science behind how they fit them to your face. They have a great selection of glasses and contacts. I think I have found my eye care home in the Midlands!

More than a little anxious about the possibility of having a contact stuck beneath my right eyelid, I went to LensCrafters at Sandhills Wednesday morning. Since I didn’t have an appointment, I didn’t know whether the doctor could work me in or not. Much to my relief, she did. She saw the contact right away and professionally and painlessly removed it. The lens had been there for two weeks and had become increasingly uncomfortable. Thanks to the doctor and staff, all is well.

Hi, I was at the LensCrafters association about a week and a half ago. One of the associates is very sick. She had a cold and she’s coughing all over the place no mask no hand sanitizer. I felt very uncomfortable a call back and reported it. I don’t know if I ever go there again, she was wiping her nose with her hand, taking your card and your paperwork and giving it back to you after she wiped her nose with her hand. Terrible. It was not good. .

I would have given this place less than 4 stars if it wasn’t for Dyneisha. She’s hard working and really cares about the needs of the customers. I started to turn around after about 5 minutes of chaos. I checked in after Dyneisha asked how she could help me when apparently no one else wanted to help. I had an appointment. The assistant had a bad attitude and honestly the only person that seemed delightful was the young lady who was already working with several people (Dyneisha). My appointment lasted longer than expected and she was still able to get me out of there in time for me to pick up my children from school. Not only that, my glasses were broken so this was really an emergency appt. She made sure I got my glasses the same day. I’m talking not even 30 minutes after I left. Poor thing was trying her hardest to help everyone at once. Keep up the good work girl! It’s definitely noticed!

I always get the greatest amount of care at this location, from the first time the door chimes. I love talking with all the associates and the staff seem to love and work well together which I also love very much. The Dr is the most kind and gentle at telling a old lady she is getting old lol...and explained things plain terms so I can understand. I always have a great experience here!

The booking site says lens crafters, not Eye Associates of Columbia. Upon checking I’m then told about a $39 fee that’s paid to the owner. Lens crafters just sales me my glasses. That should be displayed better online and also communicated before appointments. Let me decide how I want to spend my money.The office was clean, the staff was nice. The doctor was knowledgeable. I just don’t feel it’s worth paying an extra $39 every visit.when my visit should only be $10.

Having your eyes dilated used to be a choice, but now they are using high tech equipment and make it mandatory that you pay $39 to have this done, something Insurance will not cover...Should still have a choice.you are better to make an appointment somewhere else if you want to have a choice.

Dr. Zuckerman is the best. I was trouble with eye being irritated and my vision was blurred until the point where I could not see. She examined my eye and discovered I had a severe infection. She prescribed medication for treatment and with in a day my vision has started to improve and my eye is healing. Thank goodness for her. She is an expert.

I made an appointment online which was easy. I was shocked and pleased they were open on a Sunday. Every last person on staff this Sunday was amazing and took part in helping me find frames suitable for the look I was going for. The ladies were hilarious. The Dr. Jonathan was friendly, informative, and honest. Turns out my prescription didn't change and he advised me it was no need to spend money, which was much appreciated.

I have to say, this establishment and ALL of its employees are amazing!! When I got there, I discovered I was at the wrong location. However, the young lady fit me in and got me taken care. Was very disappointed when I was told the only way I’d be seen for this appointment when I got there was I’d have to pay $39.00 for a eye test that insurance doesn’t cover. It replaced having your eye Dilated which my insurance covers… I won’t be returning nor will my family members.

I had an eye exam on Thursday at the Sandhills location. This location has the most up to date equipment for doing a thorough exam. They took pictures of my eyes which the doctor showed to and discussed with me and answered all my questions in a very friendly and professional manner. Dr. Zuckerman was very helpful.

The service here is amazing! Everyone has a pleasant decorum, from the young lady (sorry i'm bad with names) that did the pre-exam's, the doctor and even the associates that worked there. Dr. Walsh was extremely professional, kind and had an excellent demeanor about her. The exam was very quick, which is completely fine for me because it was thorough without the feeling of being rushed. Eye exams and dentists appointment are the 2 visits I dread going to yearly. So, the efficiency was much appreciated. Now, onto the Eye Associates of Columbia, they were just as fabulous. I had SEVERAL questions, and they answered every one of them. So patient, so kind and they got me the best deal on 2 pairs of glasses. My only regret was not learning their names, that was completely my fault, I have a terrible memory. Now, you're wondering why I gave 4 stars, that is because as I was looking at the breakdown of my eye exam charges, I noticed no adjustments were made. Now, I have been wearing glasses/contacts for several years, and know for a FACT that yearly eye exams are covered completely. This could be a slight oversight due to the fact that I fall under my husband's policy, and they probably didn't know to look under his name. Additionally, I verified with insurance the yearly exam coverage.

I was a little agitated from my wait for the doctor but once she came in that instantly went away because she actually took her time with me, explained everything to me, gave me the best advice and was all for helping save money if it was possible with home treatments or ect. So I completely understood the wait because if she did what she did for me took her time and answered all questions and explaining things I can respect a little waiting! The entire staff is friendly and helpful!!! I left 1 company to try them and have zero regrets in changing!

I got right in for my eye exam at the designatated time and afterwards a young consultant made himself a able should I choose to buy my frames through their store. There was no high pressure sales and matter of fact just the opposite. He was kind enough to find the missing screw needed to repair my old glasses which was a saving Grace. When my husband ask him where people our age (60’s very early LOL) tended to find glasses they liked he took us right where we needed to be. Glasses were on sale and even though they didn’t ring up as such he over rode the system to ensure we got the best price. We plan to get his name when we return to write the President of the Company about this outstanding employee!!

Great service and I was provided helpful information. I went to another eye center in 2017 to get my eye exam, and they failed to recognize that I had prisms in my glasses that helped my eyes to relax considering my job is in front of a computer all day. I came back here and the provider was able to tell me immediately that the glasses I got from them in 2014 still provided my eyes relief because of my prescription. The provider was very great and friendly.
