I’d give The Optical Center 6 stars if I could. I have rimless glasses that I had bought at another shop that has since converted to a franchise. My glasses needed a tuneup; one of the lenses wasn’t securely attached to the nose bridge. I brought them to The Optical Center for repair. They had it done in 30 - 60 minutes and didn’t charge me anything and wouldn’t take anything for the repairs. It appears to be family owned and the two people I interacted with were both a class act, professional and good sense of humor.

I have been wearing glasses for more the 50 yrs. The optical place has the best service and skill to get a perfect fit. The entire staff are wonderful. The selection is wide ranging and in style. Such a great store!

I had such a great experience here today, that I told my friends about it and others who have visited also had great things to share. The customer service is so wonderful, they are really nice people who are willing to help you out for a fair price. I let them know that a customer seemed to have left their drink behind on the counter, and the employee went the extra mile to put it in the fridge while he called the customer to see if he wanted to come back to get it. Again, genuine service and genuine people... not many places like this left! I definitely recommend this place, and it’s great to support your local small businesses :)

The staff here are are so kind and welcoming. They don't pressure you to make a decision quickly and make you feel comfortable. I got my glasses from them almost a year ago and they are amazing! Fast service, they work with you with payment methods an repairs, and overall are just lovely people. I highly recommend anyone go there not only if you want a fantastic pair of glasses or shades, but to be treated well by kind souls

Always Amazing! There really aren't high enough accolades to express how thrilled I am with the level of personal service Gary & Nathan provide. There is NO OTHER place I will go (or have gone in the last decade) for glasses, new or for repair. I live seven hours away and drive happily to Burlington to shop at The Optical Center. When I can't get there, they are so quick with shipping that it seems that they are local to me. THANKS again and again! JR

Great customer service and good people! Gary and Hannah helped me out in a pinch. One of the nosepads fell off my Carrera glasses. They replaced both for me and didn’t charge me a dime, even though I hadn’t even bought my glasses from them in the first place. I’ll definitely be buying from them in the future!

Visiting in Burlington, VT a couple of years ago, I walked into The Optical Center on the Church Street mall and immediately found frames (light, unobtrusive and attractive) that have changed my life. The service was extraordinary (it took 3 seconds to measure me for the frames, should I decide to buy it). No one pressured me to hurry and make the purchase immediately. I returned to the west coast, described the frames to my ophthalmologist, who did not think they were available in the area, and who gave me a prescription which I mailed to Nathan Mitchell at The Optical Center in Burlington. Within days the new pair of glasses, lenses expertly made in the Burlington shop, arrived. I found them so much better than any I'd ever had that I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses with the same frames as soon as possible. One of the better decisions I've made.

Dropped off my sunglasses that needed a new screw to reattach the arm. They quoted a quick $5 repair. When I came back to grab them they said, "Don't worry about it." And I left with repaired shades free of charge. Check out this great shop for your optical needs.
