Have been needing eye care my entire life and 802 Eye Care always makes it simple. Yesterday was my first time having an exam with them. It was quick and no nonsense. Found a pair of glasses that were stylish and well within my budget for a complete pair. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The only shop that has ever had my lenses in stock for one hour glasses. Not really a complaint but they only play Dave Matthews Band both times I've been in. Keeps everyone calm I guess but what's that all about? Can we get a jam band mix for the waiting room? Thank you ☺️

This is the place you want to be. They do incredible work and will keep you satisfied in the process. They are quick and thorough. I lost my glasses, and went in (without an appointment) for new ones. I had the new ones picked out in about ten minutes and had them altered to my prescription within an hour. I just love this place.

Our family loves going here and we generally love interacting with all the staff here. One item that does seem a bit puzzling is that they are the only business in the area which still requires masking regardless of vaccination status. Totally agree with the science behind masking in the early to mid days of the pandemic but COVID is here forever. Will they require masks forever? It does make trying on frames very tedious. You have to pick out a potential frame and walk outside where there are no mirrors to see what it looks like on your unobstructed face. Perhaps they could offer a type of clear mask for their customers so you can remain in the store to try on your frames. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend coming while it’s raining or in the winter!

This cheery, well-run office on Shelburne Rd. has proven again and again to be a place of special service. Highly highly recommend them for your optometry, glasses, contacts and general eye care.

They work with local LASIK specialists including Dr. Juli Larson of Vermont Eye Laser, Dr. Greg McCormick of Vermont Laser Vision and Dr Gordon Balaszi and Dr. Marc Mullie of Laservue. Your pre- and post-op evaluations can be completed at our office and reports will be sent to your preferred surgeon. They keep several brands and styles of diagnostic contact lenses in stock to try in-office. If we have to order trial contact lenses they usually arrive within a day or two. We fit patients with disposable soft contacts that can be changed daily, every 2 weeks or monthly.

I had bought a pair of lenses and frame a year or 2 ago. Today I broke my frame while cleaning my lenses. I was able to get my lenses put in a new frame in under an hour. Which is great because I thought I was going to have to deal with broken glasses all weekend.

Great selection, great staff and great service. I purchased glasses a year ago and the frame broke and with the pandemic a replacement frame (coming from France) was going to take a few weeks to get. They were able to find a frame that fit my lenses until my replacement frame came in. So very grateful for the effort, my eyes (and I) thank you!

What eye care should be like for everyone. Last year someone sat on, and broke my old pair of glasses. It had been a while since my last ophthalmologist check up. 802 Eye Care rightly told me they couldn't make new frames and lens', without a new prescription. I was impressed with the new tech they used to establish my eye health, and upgrade my prescription. Recently, my new frames from 802 Eye Care broke in half at the nose piece. I emailed a picture and a description of what happened. They told me to drop them off/mail them back, as they were under warranty. I got new frames super fast, and was amazed with my 802 Eye Care customer service experience.

They went above and beyond to make sure I walked out with clear vision despite my financial hardship and my 15 pair try on streak. Useless Knowledge

I recently suffered a head injury that resulted in stitches, concussion and broken glasses. I needed new glasses and quick. The staff was amazing and friendly. They got me in quickly and even had my lenses in stock. I found a nice selection of frames displayed in the store and was able to pick out ones that I love (the wife even loves them... BONUS!) They were able to cut and mount the lenses on site! I recieved my new glasses within an hour. If I could give more stars I would. THANK YOU 802 EYE CARE!

My glasses are perfect and never give me a headache. I was treated by very professional, attentive and pleasant staff who paid close attention to my needs and did not made me feel like a number. They have a lot to offer so don’t let their quiet location direct you elsewhere. In fact on that note, parking is a breeze!

My children and I use 802 Eye Care for all our vision needs. When my son was told he had perfect vision, he was bummed as he really wanted glasses. Dr. Pincombe helped me to hook him up with blue-blocker lenses so he is able to wear glasses and loves it! All my glasses have come from them too! Amazing selection for all tastes!

We went here because my wife's glasses needed an adjustment. We didn't even purchase her glasses there. Yet the kind associate here adjusted my wife's glasses to her satisfaction. I tried to pay for the service but the associate insisted on not taking payment. Very professional store with kind employees.

When I see them, they're great. Efficient yet cover all the areas. I recently destroyed my glasses while overseas. The Army supply chain is lacking and the cross bar went out of style in the 80s. They took my existing prescription and got new glasses made up that day and mailed out to me. I can't speak highly enough about them.

The gentleman (long hair, beard, and totally up with the current fashion) helped my husband Jason get out of the 1990's era. I had a bad health scare almost died and left severely visually impaired, therefore my glasses prescription is extremely strong and extremely expensive ($600.00) so needless to say thanks to UVM University Hospital ,they have programs to help financially struggling people, I went from perfect vision to blind in my left eye and about 30% no perefferel vision,needl neeto say I woke up at 40 yrs. Old disabled and broke. These wonderful people from 802 Eyecare we're so very much professional and did a wonderful job with friendly and quick help! Made a very wierd curcumtance easy and not at all akward, like I have felt at other well known chains , anyway just received them in the mail today and I'm so very pleased with the results,best glasses I'VE ever had the pleasure to wear!! Highly recommend ,staff very knowledgeable and helpful!!
