Highly recommend! I scheduled an appointment for my 11month old and was a bit hesitant at first because I thought he would never sit still for the eye exam. I called the office and voiced that concern and they told me not to worry the doc was a “pro” with kiddos. Within mins of the exam, the doc had already pulled out a stash of toys to keep my son entertained, he even made cool barnyard sounds which my son thought was hilarious (ask the doc to do his kitty cat impression-it was a hit with us). It worked, we made it through the appointment, and my son’s eyes are fine. Again, highly recommend if you are seeking a place to take your children.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Dr. Blackburn really goes into great detail to explain how the eyes work which I appreciated. He does this with graphics to actually show you what he is talking about, in other words, its not just him trying to explain in words only. Made a difference to me since I have no education about eyes. I would highly recommend Dr. Blackburn. A+

Wow, this was my first visit and I am so happy. Dr. Blackburn is the best. He was so informative. He showed me about my eyes and took time with me. I never felt rushed or that I was just another patient. Everyone in the office was very nice, Danielle was awesome and knows exactly how to help you pick out the frames that will look best on you. I have found my new eye doctor. Thank you so much, I would highly recommend them.

The staff is without fail pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. During exams Dr. Blackburn is very good at explaining what he is doing and why, and talking about potential future issues. I have worn contact lens for many years, and at this point of relatively advanced age - mid 60s - I can see better with my contacts than I ever have. In fact better than 20/20 which is something I never though I could achieve.. I wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Blackburn and his group.

Dr. Blackburn looks for any problems that may be in my eyes far beyond just a vision screening. The office is easy to get into and out of and parking has never been a problem for me. Contacts are always ordered and delivered quickly.

He explains any issue clearly and in words that the layperson can understand. He came into the office on a Sunday afternoon when he'd been out of town, to see my husband about an eye infection. We also have high praise for his great staff.
