Each person that comes in the room to help me is always willing to go above and beyond to assure I am happy and have the best diagnosis and/or treatment available. Awesome staff, I particularly loved the fact that i didn't have to get my eyes dilated but a picture was taken instead. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Doctor Duty is the one I saw, she was very informative and explained the process very well. I am glad I made the switch and will be bringing my entire family next time they need an exam!

Would leave ten stars if I could. I came in for a first-time, same-day appointment because I was seeing sparks in my vision. They saw me right away, and the nurses and techs were very polite and efficient. Once the tests had been done, Dr. Mandy Duty walked in and told me that my condition was a lot more serious than I had thought it was. She was very kind and compassionate and explained it very well, and she spent a long time making sure I got sent to the right ER. When I told her I was scared and I didn't have family in town, she gave me her *personal* cell phone number and told me to stay in touch. I kept texting her thoughout the night and she gave me the knowledge and courage to advocate for myself and ask for the correct tests when the ER wanted to shove me out. At one point, she even offered to come in herself and sit with me (like, I cannot stress that here that I was not a longtime patient or friend. I was someone she had met for the first time that day, and she was offering to spend her Friday night in a miserable ER with me). I don't think I'm being hyperbolic here when I say that the attention she gave me that day might very well have saved my vision. It certainly saved my sanity. I've had some good doctors and some bad doctors in my life, but I don't think I've ever met anyone quite like her. I will forever be thankful I chose to walk into Inverness Eye Care that day. Can't recommend this place enough

I have had glasses since I was in the first grade. None of my eye doctors have ever believed me when I said my glasses weren’t the right prescription. I went to see Dr. Ansley for the first time in 2020 and he immediately noticed that I have a disease of the cornea. He watched it closely for about a year with checkups and when it came time for me to need surgery, he set me up with an ophthalmologist and I could not be happier. He has been so involved with every step. If I call complaining of red eyes or irritated eyes, he will have me snap quick pictures so he can see what’s going on and then recommend drops for me to use. He is so kind and caring. The staff in the office is also kind and welcoming. I highly recommend Inverness Eye Care.

I always appreciate my experience with Dr. Gordon. She cares about your health far beyond your expectations. Some doctors focus only on your specific office visit, but she actually pays attention to your overall health. So please be honest on your initial questionnaire as she actually takes a moment to review your responses and comment specifically on areas she observes as a concern. I am a 3 + year patient and I am still shocked by her ability to make me feel like I’m her only client for the day. She has never rushed any of my appointments and does not hesitate to use any of the latest technology her office has to ensure there are no changes to your vision. She has actually determined that an eye condition I had been treated for over 15 years may have been misdiagnosed, but we continue to monitor for it at each visit. Anyway, If you are looking to change doctors or go for an initial visit, please look no further. Dr. Gordon and her friendly office staff will be professional and take care of your needs. I would give them 100 stars.

I was in awe how each employee (and there were many) was busy and efficient in doing their individual tasks from the front office to the various testing staff to Dr. Gordon (who was professional, friendly, thorough, & efficient without seeming rushed), to the optician who helped me select & order new glasses in almost time at all, to the check out staff. Dr. Ainsley was able to pinpoint my problem immediately and spent a good deal of time explaining next steps in treatment. All the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Ainsley is one of the best eye doctors I have ever had. We wouldn’t trust our eyes and especially our daughter’s eyes to anyone other than Inverness Eye Care. Even if you aren’t in the Inverness area it’s definitely worth the drive.
