Dr. Ali was phenomenal and is easily my favorite eye doctor I've ever seen. The staff are kind and accommodating, even when I needed to reschedule my appointment unexpectedly. Cannot recommend them enough. I'll definitely be making my future appointments here.

My son and i goes to this location all the time and we also took frames we brought online so we could get our prescription place in frame very satisfied in fact we waited less time for glasses to come back then they told us i m on my way there now to pick up my new glasses and customer service was awersome sauce so no complaints

Had a scheduled appointment today at the Catonsville location. Wasn't too happy that I had to complete the paperwork that I already completed online but that was the only negative. The wait time was short and the eye exam was done by a very nice and professional doctor. I had the opportunity to look at the glasses available without anyone worrying me. When it was time to purchase my frames and talk about the "goodies" for my glasses, Keisha was awesome. She was personable and friendly. Not pushy and honest with helping me pick what was right for me. Overall really good experience and I would recommend this location.

First time visiting a vision works. We had two appointments for my wife and I. Didn’t wait long for the exam. Ms. Wanda who helped us check out was amazing. Initially we had a problem with my insurance authorization but it was quickly resolved. Ms. Wanda was knowledgeable and navigated us through getting our glasses and billing it to the insurance. If you ever visit this place ask for Ms. Wanda she will take great care of you!

She answered all my questions and gave me a solution to help with my allergy problem!!! They both were a life saver and would recommend this place 💯 to everyone. Just make sure you call and schedule ahead because they are busy but treat everyone with respect and in a timely fashion!!!

My first experience at Vision works Catonsville was great. I was a bit nervous but Dr.Ali put me at ease. I needed glasses. So I was referred to Wanda she was wonderful very kind and knowledgeable. She picked a very stylish set of glasses for me. Made sure that they were payed for by my insurance. I’m very glad I have found a place for-the future care of my eyes.

I had a wonderful experience today. Dr Rice and her team were very warm, helpful and competent. I am 43 years old and have NEVER had an eye exam as thorough as this one. I am the consumer who will not hesitate to leave an honest review good or bad. I'm so happy to have had a great experience. I will definately be returning next year for my annual exam. Especially I want to appreciate Ms Wanda to being so kind and nice to us. The other staff there was so friendly too as they welcomed us and immediately assisted asking what I need. I had the best experience at this store on February 18th 2019 . I came in and was greeted by several employees there and the person who helped me was Bria. Bria was patient , helpful , friendly and a all around great person . She made my experience there pleasant , she was nice and gave great conversation the whole process through. I purchased contacts and eye glasses both prescription and she made the process for both wonderful. If you go to this location ask for Bria , she’s great and super helpful . They were prompt and friendly. They had an incredibly difficult (crazy? on drugs?) customer ahead of me and everyone treated her with respect and patience. I was very impressed, since I was tempted to kick that person out myself. Amy (the optometrist) skipped lunch, but handled my fitting like a pro...and got me a better prescription than I had previously. At the counter (don't know her name) gave me coupons, samples, and calculated the amount of money I could be saving. Go on a day with low traffic and should be better...but they definitely need to hire more staff...wait times can be incredibly long

Can only speak on my experience I scheduled the first appointment in the morning and it was no wait. I walked in and was seen within 5 minutes, the doctor was pleasant and welcoming. The ladies up front didn’t try to upsell me or make me buy something I didn’t need. Now it’s 2018 if you don’t like the prices here use google and look up alternatives. I always get my prescriptions and go somewhere else cheaper I refuse to spend over $300 for glasses. Beside the prices the service was great and I will be returning

My experience was wonderful. I must say this staff is MUCH BETTER than the staff that were there in 2006 when I went (they are the reasons I stayed away so long). They were VERY accommodating and they did not treat me like trash because of the type of insurance I had. They treated my children with love and the Eye Doctor Ms. Valerie Smith was very professional, caring, loving, and patient with my children. I felt really bad because my one year old was acting as if she were raised in a barn but they didn't make me feel bad about it. They had very stylish frames and they didn't try to SELL ME ANYTHING after I informed them that I often order my glasses online. Unfortunately, there was one person in there (some highbrow behaving individual and his wife) that was acting so badly towards the Vision Works Staff as if he were ENTITLED to EXACTLY what he wanted. My guess is that he will right a nasty review about them as he seemed like a complete jerk. I will commend the staff though because they handled that situation IMMACULATELY. As a Customer Relations Manager myself, I take notice of these things and I will DEFINITELY recommend "Vision Works" to all.

Great experience overall, and I was reluctant to visit after seeing the previous bad reviews. I entered and was warmly greeted by staff, and after some short paperwork was seen before my scheduled appointment time by about 5 min. I was early so I even had time to pick out my frames before my exam. The exam went very smoothly, and the Dr was very nice and explained each step of the exam. Afterwards I was brought out and introduced to the optician who would be completing my transaction, again no waiting time! My optician quickly rang me up and explained my checkout totals, etc. I left with my receipts and will be picking up my glasses soon!

Customer service was excellent from when I walked in the door to finalizing my purchase. Keisha, the General Manager and Wanda, EWS was able to answer every question, I asked recommended the best solution and had pleasant attitudes the entire time! This is the only place I have ever went to for my contacts and glasses . I absolutely love them . Ms.Wanda helped me out tremendously and was very very sweet and patient with me !! I truly appreciate that because I can be so indecisive sometimes . Everyone that works there is very professional and nice . The only place I will ever go to get my glasses and things . As well as the eye doctor was absolutely amazing . You can tel she enjoys her career.

This location seems to be getting a lot of hate, but I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. They've always treated me with respect both on the phone and in person. They also create a lighthearted, jovial environment for their customers. It's a shame that only the disgruntled and incensed feel compelled to write reviews.

I always walk past it and see the "ads" on the windows--they call my attention because I really...really...I REALLY imagine myself there 😂 but today I decided to go there to take an exam of eyes. And note that the last exam I had was 4 years ago! Then, I was going to leave, go to another place and look for glasses quietly...on my own...calmly...because I just didn't feel like looking through the selection, and it already made me think that I wasn't going to find nothing, but I really, really, really, really appreciate Keisha for her help! I found the "frames" sooo cute! And the exam and the entire process lasted me less than an hour! I bought "frames" at a good price and the optometric gave me perfect vision (20/20)! Very happy! Super happy! I went to Visionworks on Route 40 today. I always pass by and see the ads in the windows. They call my attention because I imagine myself being the model there!😂 But anyway I decided to go in and get an eye exam--the last one I had was 4 years ago!
