My appointment for rx glasses was with the elder Dr. Levin. I have seen only him since he bought Dr. Glasser’s practice. He is thorough, listens, and cares. I didn’t find frames I wanted. Dave suggested I go to the Perry Hall office for frames. Gabriella helped by looking for different colors online and ordered a pair to be sent to Parkville for me to try. These two offices are efficient.

I have been a customer at Levin Eyecare in Parkville for over ten years. I was a customer of the Eye Service technician, Dave, now retired, for a number of years. I am glad that the continued great service has continued after his retirement. In the last couple of years, I have been helped by another technician whose name just happens to be Dave as well. He has been very professional, helpful, and courteous when providing frame adjustments and information about frames and Levin services. This past Saturday, August 20th, 2022, I came in with my new trusty Shuron Ronsir ZYL frame, to have prescription lenses made for them. Again, I received very reliable, professional, help from a very knowledgeable, technician named Taye or Tae, please forgive me for any misspellings. Tae helped me with the prescription lenses and she helped save me some money with a package/bundle of services (scratch resistance coating/anti-reflective protection/& transition lenses coating). This was much needed and appreciated since my trusty Blue Cross & Blue Shield doesn’t help at all with insurance for glasses. Oh well, I am greatly appreciative of Tae’s grade A service and all that Levin continues to do for me. Thank You!!!!!

After leaving I realized that I was not asked if I wanted the blue tint for the computer but the woman before me was asked. Not a great selection of frames but service from the Doctor was great. While trying to pick out a frame, we were told that they are closing did we want to pick out frames on another day. If you don't give the customer a chance to select a frame of their choice than don't book an appointment at 5:30

But she was away on vacay so I met with Dr Levin for the first time and I loved him as well very thorough made me and my husband feel very comfortable with our visit with him as well! My mom and I were looking for a new eye care provider and I opted for Levine in Parkville because of their great reviews. They certainly did not dissapoint! Dr. House was a phenomenal person who was kind, warm, thorough and exceptionally knowledgeable. She picked up on a congenital eye condition that I have but had forgotten about as I was diagnosed many years ago. I had further forgotten it because my last provider of many years never noticed. She answered all of my questions; even those related to my insurance and explained everything she was doing. She really has a compassionate and engaging manner. I was fitted for contacts and given a trial pair. She asked me to make a follow up appointment after a week to insure that the fit and prescription was accurate before I invested into lenses. That was a first! My previous providers took my order after my exam and I only saw them again to pick up my contacts which resulted in the wrong prescription at least once. It shows that they care about the quality of service that they render. The receptionist was also very warm and friendly as was the gentlemen who fits clients for glasses although we didn't utilize that service at that time but plan to! My mom adores everyone there, especially the Doctor. I have finally found a provider for myself and for my family that I have confidence in and whom I enjoy interacting with. Thank you Levine Parkville team. It's refreshing to find a provider that has a priority of delivering quality services while simultaneously insuring that the client experience is truly a pleasant one.

I had been going to the Perry Hall location for many years and I needed some information about my pupillary distance, and was told by one of the optometrists that they were not allowed to give that information out. I called the Parkville location and Megan didn’t hesitate to help me. She was so warm, friendly and very helpful. Your first point of contact leaves a lasting impression. I will be going to that location to have my eyes examined for now on. Also, when I bought eyeglasses two years ago from them, Dave was fantastic to work with. Customer service is their specialty!

Backing everyone up who disagreed with Justin. It is absolutely up to the patient's discretion as to whether or not he or she feels comfortable driving after dilation. There's no timing "rule" with dilation and driving. I was always able to drive immediately after my appointments.

I was looking around for information about this location and saw Justin's review about dilatedd eyes. He is incorrect - you can drive while your eyes are dilated, it is up to personal preference if you want to drive after dilation or not. The problem here is not with the optician but with the policeofficer. "The Optometrist is NOT suppose to dilate a patients' eyes if they are alone and if the patient is alone they MUST wait a certain amount of time before they can do certain things. My wife was not relayed this information thus causing this mishap." This is incorrect.
