Before covid I had two regular eye doctors. After covid, one retired and the other relocated too far away. This was my first visit with fed hill eye care and they were amazing. Doctor made me feel comfortable talked to me the entire time which was nice. The nurses were excellent and very helpful. I also found it more affordable then others as well. Highly recommend. Spent less than an hour getting exam, retinal pics and picking new glasses!

Dr Scott and his team are excellent! The have help me finding a solution for my double vision and light sensitivity and headache issues that I had for so many years. I have been going this past 2 years to so many eye doctors but only Dr Scott understood what was my problem and was able to play with Prism and filters correctly and find a real solution for my eye. I can't thank Dr Scott enough for helping me! Again thank you very much Dr Scott!

I have been a patient of Dr. Klasman for a few years. I am very happy with the time and attention that he provides. He listens to my concerns, includes me in making decisions about the health of my eyes, and never makes me feel rushed. As far as buying glasses from them, I have never felt pressured or ignored. On the contrary, I feel that there is a sincere desire to provide me with the best possible lenses/glasses for my needs.

My visits here are never rushed and you can tell the physicians really listen to you and make suggestions based on your needs and desires. I had an appointment with Dr. Solomon on Saturday, 8/6/22. This was my first time meeting him. I saw Dr. Bregel for a lot of years prior to Saturday so I was a little nervous about seeing someone new. That all changed - I absolutely loved Dr. Solomon - he was awesome, very very knowledgeable, explained everything to me, funny, nice and kind as can be. I look forward to to seeing him again in the future.

Federal Hill Eye Care is one of the best eye doctors I've been to! As a person who has been in glasses/contacts since for almost 20 years, I have seen numerous eye doctors over the years and believe that Dr. Klasman and Dr. Solomon are top notch doctors. Their office staff has impeccable customer service and their doctors have been very attentive when issues occurred and are very thorough in their examinations to make sure you are taken care of. I'd highly recommend them.

I am satisfied with the level of care I received at Fed Hill Eye Care. My specialist (Solomon) was helpful as well the gentleman (who's name I don't remember) that assisted me with choosing my frames. The front desk service was on point also. So, why only 4 stars? It takes something especially memorable for me to give a 5 star rating. Nevertheless, I do recommend FHEC for your eye care needs.

I was in town for the Prince Hall Shriners convention, and only needed my lenses transferred from a broken pair of glasses to an identical pair, which they kindly did free of charge. That is the definition of customer service. They also have a great selection of quality eyewear to choose from. Stop by it was worth the brisk walk from Downtown!

Just had one of the most pleasant experiences. I was visiting Baltimore from New York, and on my way to Baltimore I realized that I forgot my contacts at home! When I got to Baltimore, looked for a local optometrist that I could purchase contacts from. After calling around, most places couldn't get any orders in in time to give me lenses for same day. Feeling rather defeated, I called Federal Hill Eye Care where the receptionist was so eager to help. They ended up giving me enough contacts for my entire trip, and didn't even charge me for the lenses! For any locals looking for a local optometrist, I would highly recommend this business for their empathy, and incredible customer service!

I love this eye care both ophtalmo and optician. I have been coming here five years now and never disappointed. Very clean, professional, on schedule, courteous, helpful and cost effective. The staff is amazing, the doctors are super professional and make you feel comfortable. They listen to your concerns be it eye itching in allergy season or anything else you share during eye exam and address them. My 2020 eye exam was yesterday and it was a perfect experience all around. I am glad I found this place five years ago. Location is also great, lots of cute restaurants and cafes so you can stop for lunch or late breakfast after your appointment. I walk there so I am not sure about parking but there is street parking if you are comfortable parallel parking. I am sure there are garages too. The eyeglasses frame selection is very small versus other places, but it is very selective with wonderful choices and every year I have been able to pick a unique pair that lasts me forever. I like to have a few options with different colors so I order a new pair every year and so far never walked out of there without finding the perfect one in that small selection. I prefer that actually to hundreds of pairs with only a few that are nice. So the small selection helps me pick my pair faster. They always offer to tighten up your existing eye glasses and clean them up on every visit. They are just wonderful and I recommend them.

I’ve been going here for three years. Dr. Klasman is a cool guy who keeps it real with you whenever you have a question about your general eye care, he gives tips for better eye care with contacts, and he’s got a great team with him. Looked out for me when looking for rebate offers for my particular lenses, which I’m very thankful for! The glasses team also took a good amount of time to help me with glasses that had been hurting me when they sat on my ears. They’re perfect now. Highly recommend this Eye Doctor!

A late review: I was a patient about 3-4 for years ago. I had a temporary issue where I would have this brief moments of double vision. Knowing my family history, I mentioned this as it could have been the sign of something serious. The doctor did catch the nerve opening being different, asked for more exams. Nothing too serious was present, was told to get regular checkups. All this was a wonderful experience. I love when doctor's are more cautious then me. My prescription, on the other hand, was just wrong. It was adjusted according to the doctor, because of the complaints I had, those brief moments of double vision. I tried the glasses on but they weren't right. So I went several times after that to get them corrected. I believe I went 3 more times and in the last visit, I took my old prescription and said I'm extremely comfortable with these numbers. I still ended up with a pair of glasses that weren't right, that were still worse than my old prescription. I was told that it could take some time to get used to them. So after my last visit I said I would give it time. So I did. I have spent 3 years with these glasses that costed me 700$. And guess what, even after 3 years they were still not right. I kept switching to my old pair. I believe I have given enough time to get used to this pair of glasses and have the right to write this review. The service, the help, the patience ... Everything else was so nice in this place. Hence the three stars. If I went there a 5th time they might have tried to fix it again. But over 20 years with glasses I never had to visit an optician twice in the same year. So clearly something didn't went right with my visits. 3 years later, I'm living in another city, visited a different optician. It took 1 visit to get a pair of glasses that didn't require any adjustment period at all. Sharper and better from the moment I put them on just like my old glasses.

I can not say enough good things about this business. My daughter was visiting Baltimore and left her contact lenses at home. I called Fed Hill Eye Care on a Saturday morning and spoke with Angie who was amazingly helpful and kind. We were able to get her a copy of the prescription and in less than an hour a very happy young woman had a five day supply of her contacts. Thanks!

All I needed to do was get a stripped screw taken out of some frames so that I could replace the lenses on my own. Heather (I believe it was Heather...?) was so friendly on the phone when I called to see if they could help with the problem. I came in 25 minutes before the office closed and she had the repair done in 5-10 minutes. Really professional office and truly kind people. Highly recommend!
