Love, love and love the excellent eye care provided by Dr. Williams of VEA Eye Health Professionals. The office staff are warm, friendly and very helpful especially Jewel. All the frames are provided by independent designers making each one unique and super sophisticated. Picking up two pairs, both of mine are equipped with UV and blue-light protection. Each pair works for me for any occasion due to the styling and perfect fit. So blessed to have checked the VEA team and will be making future appointments for my husband and family.

I enjoyed my visit! For years I've dealt with poor customer service eye care professionals in my area. It was convenient but I sure paid for it EVERY time I visited. Finally a change has come with VEA! I am so glad I didnt have to travel far for great service AND the awesome customer service from the entire team, a doctor that has patience and takes the time to explain my eye health is overwhelming.....I really didnt expect this type of service. I have had two pleasant visits with Dr. Williams since moving to Atlanta. After the first, he referred me for a laser procedure which cleared up the vision in my right eye. He also updated my prescription, and his staff fitted me with some great new glasses, and they adjusted the frames when they need to be tightened. All-in-all great care and service.

RETRACTION…My earlier review about VEA Eyecare was an over and too quick reaction on this office. So much so, I feel the need to retract what I posted in my earlier review! I’m saying it with a 4 star rating !!! While I feel the Dr’s skills as an eye professional maybe acceptable, his eye glasses and frames in my experience is at a substandard level…To make it plain and simple, I won’t be making another appointment at VEA Eye Health Professional !!!

VEA Eye Professionals are always warm and, well, professional. They helped me pick out glasses that I love and are always up front about their process. So glad they opened in my neighborhood! Update: same great service as above, but they managed to pick out glasses I loved before I even finished my appointment. I didn't even have to look! Love the personal, warm service they provide every year. PS- the extra screening is worth it. They found some sun damage in my eye before it got really bad, so now I can take steps to protect my eyes.

Just had my first visit with Dr. Williams. Friendly, professional, attentive, patient, knowledgeable, great service--AND right in my neighborhood--no more driving to the perimeter area (and other far away places) to see an eye doctor. Love the unique eye frames--all of the 'other' frames all look the same, regardless of the cost--and they are all costly....I found a nice jazzy pair and I can't wait until they're ready--excited to have a unique pair that other people likely won't have. Plus, to my understanding the frames are designed by women and minority business owners--for me, the cost was about the same I'd expect pay (and have paid) just about everywhere else.

This VEA is probably the friendliest most professional eye care place I have ever been to, and I’ve been wearing glasses for 25+ years. I was impressed by the doctor and the staff, by the fact I was seen on time, and that they we’re diligent about covid precautions. Everyone was incredibly helpful and patient. Their selection of glasses is on the smaller side but I didn’t see a pair I didn’t like and they helped me pick the perfect pair for my face. I’m so glad I found this place!

After many years of eye care elsewhere, I went to VEA with concerns I was having with my vision correction. Dr. Williams did a thorough eye exam and discovered what was giving me problems with my current vision correction. His staff fitted me with the perfect pair of glasses from a wide variety of frames and filed my insurance for me. They have been very helpful with my mid-life eye changes. After my exam, one of the staff members had already selected several frames that she thought I would like--I loved this touch. I always ask for help in selecting frames. I did not even go to the wall because one of the selected frames was perfect. When I picked up my new glasses, Dr. Williams checked to make sure that he had addressed all of the concerns that I expressed based on my experience with another provider. Dr. Williams and his staff run an efficient and thorough eye center. Unlike some practices where you spend 30 minutes to an hour waiting to see the doctor, I have never had to wait more than five minutes to be seen. Even more, I require a specialty contact and am a hard fit. Dr. Williams actually seemed excited to take me as a patient. He's serious about his craft – making the most minor of tweaks to my lenses to ensure the best vision possible and a great fit. I highly recommend VEA.

The staff was professional and knowledgeable. From the moment I walked in, they attended to my needs and made me feel special. I'm always hesitant to have my eyes dilated but the doctor explained the process and they were able to accommodate my scheduling needs. When it came to choosing my frames they have a wide selection of fashion forward frames at a reasonable price. I was set on purchasing black frames BUT the technician helped me pick a beautiful cognac color that compliments my skin well. I actually ended up purchasing two different colors because their was so much to choose from. I definitely recommend VEA Eye Health professionals.

This was my second time using VEA for eye care. I go to the eye doctor every two years. Service was responsive and personable. The exam is not expensive, but I do find their eye glasses more on the expensive side. But, their glasses are simply beautiful and unique! You will not find duplicates of these frames which explains the price punch. I use a healthcare FSA, so I always put extra money on the card when it is time to visit the eye doctor. Thank you VEA for impressive service and beautiful eye wear. I will see you again in about 24 months.

The service great. The staff were great. My exam great. Dr. Williams great. The cost of frames NO NOT GREAT. The frames are expensive and they do not tell you that unless you ask or until after you have paid. This is not a good practice for people who are short on dimes. There are no prices anywhere on the shelves for the frames. The price I paid could have went elsewhere. You shouldn't have to spend $400-$500 to be able to see. Other than that....great place. great people

I had an excellent experience at VEA. I had been putting off getting new contacts until I was down to my last pair. Making the appt was effortless and I was able to visit within a week. The staff was pleasant and professional. Everyone had on masks (big Plus). The doctor was personable too. I ended up getting contacts AND new frames; which look awesome. I was in awe when I first walked in. The office was very clean and the staff was very welcoming. I was so excited to meet Dr. Williams because I heard so many good things about him. After my consultation, I have so much more relief now knowing what's going on with my eyes. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and a real COOL doctor. I found VEA Eye Health Professionals through Google after reading reviews. I was able to get an appointment within 2 days. Dr. Williams is very knowledgeable with a good bedside manner. He informs you of everything he is doing. His staff is friendly, and knowledgeable as well. I also like the fact that it is a local business with a trendy art gallery vibe. He was also working on the floor with his staff…yes Teamwork! I received my glasses in less than a week…I love them! VEA Eye Health did not disappoint. Exceptional service!

The front office staff at VEA Eye Health are professional, courteous and take the time to address your needs. I found this practice through my daughter's insurance and took a chance on them. It was a chance well worth it. Dr. Williams did a very thorough eye exam for my daughter (now 10) and for me as well. He was very knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner. Their glasses inventory is a bit small, but has some great options. Some are pricey, but not not higher than some other small boutiques similar to their size in the city. Glad I found them!

I have worn glasses for 20+ years I’ve seen a ton of facilities, doctors and staff. This institution is built on integrity and professionalism. The staff welcome you as you come in their cute store front buisness, they display cute and fashionable eye wear. I did some research prior to finding where I would like to go for my yearly exam and one quick google told me everything I needed to know. Extremely friendly. They were able to schedule me and my partner the next day for an appointment. Frames were slightly expensive, but they were great quality (if frame price is an issue I would encourage getting your prescription and ordering frame online). Would strongly recommend them to anyone.

I had an eye infection from contacts and they were able to see me the next day when my usual eye doctor told me it would be 2 weeks before they could get me in. Everyone was nice and welcoming. The doctor was great he explained everything thoroughly. I didn't feel like they were just trying to get me in and out quickly like some other places so I will make them my permanent eye care provider.

I have worn glasses since I was 5 years old so I am pretty accustomed to the usual in and out click through lenses in 10 minutes vision exam experience. Coming to VEA exceeded my expectations in providing the most thorough eye exam I have had in my adult life. Dr. Williams asked me critical questions about my vision and took the extra time to actually explain his recommendations and things I did not understand. The initial experience of making an appointment, meeting the physician, having the exam and ordering my glasses was a good one. The cost was lovely due to the insurance that I have. It did not go so smoothly when I went to pick them up. The young lady that works there called and informed that the glasses had arrived and then she and I made an appointment for me to pick them up. When I arrived the next day to pick up my glasses, the guy that works there was a little dry, almost like he had an attitude because he assumed I just walked in when in fact I had made an appointment with the lady the day before. Once he found out that I actually did have an appointment then his attitude changed a little but not much. Maybe he is just not a morning person who knows but that certainly did rub me the wrong way. Then when I asked him for a copy of the prescription (which is one of the main reasons why I went there to begin with), he told me that declined citing that the doctor needed to sign off on the prescription before he could send it BUT he DID ask me to complete a survey. I am a postal worker and I work A LOT of hours. Today is the first day that I have had free time to address the survey so overall the experience was a good one!

Revised: Vea veiwed my review and immediately gave me call to make right anything I thought was wrong and to explain to me the information giving to my husband. Again I choose Vea based on the 4 star marking. The front office staff was very courtesy. And after visit with the Doctor the staff was only following the lead of their supervisor.. As a consumer in these hard times I am always looking for a way to save. I was able to bring in my frames and have the lenses put in by Vea. The front staff worked along side me so that I could get the best price with the lenses. NOW My husband visit came off a little bit more difficult because one eye is way worst than the other but I knew I should have went on appt with him🤦. My husband never ask the right questions if he ask questions at all nor do he relay information back to me right that's all his dr appts urgh😑.... However we purchased these expensive $500 glasses because of the bad eye from Lenses crafters my husband tried wearing them but they made him very dizzy. We took them back several times but they insisted that the prescription was correct and he just needed to get use to them with no other options. After Doctor Williams examination he immediately said they gave him the wrong prescription in his glasses. Doctor William gave us several options to correct his vision and with a price to fit our budget. My husband thought he would not drive at night again but Doc Williams examination gave him hope that he will be able. Pleased to say we finally found our eye doctor. Happy Chambers Family

Very nice and laid back but professional. I did not wait long to be seen by the doctor and when I did see him, he handled me with care. My eyes are sensitive to light and watered a lot, he was patient. Glaucoma is hereditary and my PC advised me to get my eyes checked yearly and keep records to compare results. I asked for them, and received them without any problems. God forbid anything happens with my eyes and I will at least have an exam to reference for my level of vision. I really like my frames and they are more of a higher end. ☝🏾They do not have Walmart, America's Best, BJs type of frames. Which I can understand budget but I prefer for my glasses to last and not feel flimsy. My frames feel sturdy, comfortable, and everyone loves them on me. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I want to give the glasses time to get a little wear on them and see how they are holding up. I will update to 5 if they hold up well. Great choice of an Eye Center.
