Every person with whom I came into contact with was exceedingly gracious and sincerely helpful. My appointment started right on time. I was welcomed by those who signed me in and tested my eyes - they also showed care regarding my concerns. Dr. Boxer was professional, but also caring. He took time to check several different things and to ask about my symptoms. He offered several options for care and encouraged me to call back if anything changed or if I needed anything and gave me instructions for things to watch out for. I have always had pleasant visits to this location, but today, in addition to great care, the team also put a smile on my face at the end of the day.

Dr. Boxer listened carefully to my concerns about an eye infection, and promptly did further checks on my eye to make triple sure there were no abrasions or debris. Excellent visit. Dr. Boxer is very personable. I've been getting eye exams consistently for years and I still greatly appreciate a Doc who talks me through what is happening throughout the exam. The Front desk Staff is awesome as well. Peaceful at every step even the puff exam (Glaucoma screening) stressed me a lot less than usual because of the calmness with which it was administered. Definitely recommend.

Dr Boxer is always great. He diagnosed a budding eye infection and wrote a prescription to address it. Redo the exam once the infection clears to insure safety and accuracy of contact/glasses prescription. Front desk staffer was so very helpful with rescheduling and insurance claim. Awesome visit.

From entering and checking in the staff (for the most part) was welcoming and customer focused. The person that provides your checkout and prescription could use some more training. Instead of explaining the charges she just kept telling me the amount due. I'm not sure about others but I want to understand charges especially if I have insurance and my policy states the exam is covered at 100%. Otherwise the experience was professional and smooth!

His staff is very polite and professional, and Dr. Boxer is very patient and has always taken the time to consider and explain any issues I've had and options for treatment. This past summer I scratched my cornea and the office saw me immediately. I met with several of the associates over the next weeks and together they saved my eye from permanent damage. Every single staff member was uniquely pleasant, helpful, and great at their individual roles. I'd have to say that Dr. Boxer is great, but "Wex" provided some of the best customer service I've ever experienced.

I usually have a hard time with holding my eyes wide enough so that the pressure in my eyes could be check but not at this visit. Dr. Udell was wonderful. She explained everything to me. I was in and out in about an hour and that was only because I took time to look at the different frames.

We agreed that option was okay but I might be better served with a different prescription and I've been very happy with my new prescription. Have you ever wished that someone would actually listen to you describe what was wrong and didn't rush you, pass judgement or dismiss your concern? If you have then Dr. Kenneth Boxer and Associates is just the place to go. My appointment was perfect from the time I walked in. Very friendly and professional staff who listen. No one tries to push you in any direction and it is clear that they do appreciate their clients. I highly recommend this practice. The eye exam was quick but not rushed. Most important for me was receiving information in PLAIN LANGUAGE and that is exactly what I received.

I actually enjoyed a doctors visit! Dr. Boxer was smart and had a great bedside manner. He made me feel confident throughout my eye exam and was patient with me, which I appreciated. My eye exam always makes me nervous. I think I get scared I'll mess it up! Actually, my last eye exam went wrong and my prescription felt "off." I always felt like that doctor didn't do a good job, so I had every plan to try someone new. Dr. Boxer identified the issue immediately. I always said that prescription was blurry! I can't say enough about this place. His team of employees are also excellent. Everyone is warm and complimentary. You just feel good sitting in there. The initial team that checks you in, runs your insurance, and takes your tests before the exam were all so nice! And there's a very nice young man on the team that makes you feel right at home. Overall, I believe I've finally found my eye doctor in Atlanta. I'll be sticking with Dr. Boxer for sure. You really can't put a price on good service. And to think, I was wondering if I shouldn't give up on walking into Lenscrafters stores. Though you'll find that Dr. Boxer's practice is separate from Lenscrafters. You dont have to buy your glasses there, but you should still visit Dr. Boxer.

Starting with my pre-exam in which I had to ask her to sanitize the machine that takes photos of your eye, to the exam it felt like an assembly line. I’ve been wearing glasses for 20 years and this was the fastest exam I’ve had in my life and although I am near sighted she didn’t even bother to check my close up vision. Nor confirm with me through multiple test that the prescription was correct . It literally went from 3 or 4 now 1 or 2 to all done. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone and if my insurance wasn’t charged I’d ask for my money back to get a more comprehensive exam.

I’ve seen the same optometrist for 10+ years. Today was my first eye exam with Dr. Boxer, and he discovered that I’ve been prescribed and wearing contacts that are too strong for me. It has only been a couple hours, but now that I’m in contacts with the correct prescription, I can see more clearly and don’t have to strain my eyes. I thought a little blurriness and eye strain was just my lot in life, but now I know it’s not thanks to Dr. Boxer. Also, Wex was great at getting me set up with new glasses, and I can’t wait to pick them up. Lastly, the alternative to dilation was amazing, and I’ll never have my eyes dilated again. Kuddos to Dr. Boxer and his entire staff who were all friendly and helpful.

All of the staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I was taken at almost precisely the time of my appointment. The only thing I did not like about my visit was that there seemed to be high pressure sales tactics involved. So, I question the integrity of the staff and leadership. I was asked what method of dialation I wanted. My options were either eyedrops that would be “very uncomfortable and make my vision blurry for 4-5 hours; or quick and easy pictures could be taken that would be painless and not have any after effects.” Naturally, I chose the quick, easy and most comfortable process. The rep says, “great, follow me!” Just as I was getting up, he adds, “The pictures are gonna be $44.00. Are you okay with that?” “Actually, I’m not. I don’t want to pay for anything other than my eye exam.” He then says, “Okay. I’ll be right back.” Once he returned, he said the doctor was ready to see me. The eye doctor then put me through a series of eye screenings/tests. Of course, he made his way back around to these dialation tests. Except this time, he asks, “Are you driving? Because it could be a little dangerous to drive if you get the dialation with the eyedrops. Many ppl cannot see well enough to drive afterwards.” Long story short, I was scared into paying $44.00 for the photographic dialation test and therefore will likely never return.
