Extremely good experience! I was sent all my check-in materials by text message a good while before my appointment. This enabled me to get checked in with no problems. Dr. Beaty gave me a very through examination. He was evidently very competent in his field, and he also was willing to take time to answer any questions that I had. A very good experience, and I plan to return there for my next eye examination!

I was very happy with the service. The front office staff, Katelyn and Addison, were super helpful, and the person who did my eye exam, was excellent. They were all friendly, helpful, and super considerate. This staff makes you feel happy and welcomed to be here. You know that they are good people when they recognize you and they say hi to you at another place in Asheville (totally random), and they are just as engaging and friendly to you there as they were at the Lens Crafter office. Highly recommend. What a nice place and environment. Very friendly and kind. :)

Amazing!!! This place saved my life ! It found things in one eye exam that the previous doctor never even mentioned!! Dr. Ramos and his staff are wonderful! I was seen the same day, had answers to questions that the last Dr. Didn’t have time to be bothered with !! Dr. Ramos is fantastic, straight forward and goes above and beyond and did several different tests to get to the problem of what was going on with my eyes!!. If you want an amazing Eye Dr. And a caring staff please go see them!! They deserve more than 5 stars ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The front desk staff was cordial and polite throughout. I saw Dr. Trey Beaty, who seemed very knowledgeable, and thoroughly explained diagnostic outcomes and solutions. So far; perfect. I was excited about finding an eye care home for my family. However, when I started to pay, I was charged $39 more in addition to my co-pay. I paid, but asked what the charge went toward…?? I was told it was for using a piece of equipment. There was no signage in the office to suggest this. I asked that I be notified of hidden charges ahead of time in the future. While I had a good experience with my treatment, I probably will not go back. That was sly and underhanded.

VERY thorough eye exam. I am a diabetic and elderly. Was very happy with the extensive assessment. Took time to explain what they were doing and the findings. Staff is friendly and would highly recommend for your eye care.

Great experience, walked in got an appointment for an hour later. The Dr. was great, straight forward, no BS and actually adjusted my prescription so I see much better. There was no high pressure sales and the young women at the front desk actually pointed out a rebate , so I will end up with free contacts for a year and come out $26 in my pocket after everything is said and done. I’ll definitely be back for my next exam.

Had an excellent experience at Northlake Eye in the Asheville Mall. Everyone from reception to Dr Ramos were very friendly and professional. This was a different eye exam experience for me. I was interested to discover that all of the metrics they gathered from all of the eye imaging machines basically gave them my prescription. When I got done with my eye measurements (no dilation btw) Dr Ramos already had a prescription pulled up that was fantastic. He then took the time to talk to me about how our eyes are organic and change over time. He let me compare my vision with my old prescription and the new one. Two thumbs up for sure 👍 👍

They were able to fit me in same day to correct a problem. I was visiting from out of town and my new glasses from my local opthamologist were not right. The new eye exam proved the original prescription was way off. To the point it was difficult to drive. Because they fit me in, I was able to get new glasses the same day.

Everything was all right except the customer chair in the eye test room. It is uncomfortable, non-adjustable, and poorly designed for patients told to put our chin and forehead against the machine frame. CANNOT BE DONE IF THE CHAIR WON'T RISE HIGH ENOUGH! And the machine itself (with the balloon image) needs recalibrating; when the young lady told me to hold myself steady and then adjusted the machine to focus and take images, the front of the machine pushed my forehead off the brace! The personnel are excellent, but the corporate decision-makers need to learn how to furnish the exam rooms and make them work for CUSTOMERS.

Probably the best eye appointment experience I have ever had. I made an appointment for myself and my husband 1.5 hours apart because we have an 18 month old and wanted to stagger watching him while we were each getting checked out. When I showed up for my appointment, they offered to move my husband's up sooner because having my son there wasn't a problem at all. Literally everyone there was so accommodating and kind. The provider himself was also absolutely wonderful. I had my son in my lap during the appointment and when he got scared of the machine, the provider started playing with him and distracting him so he wouldn't be upset. He also discussed with me different options for contacts, as I've been wearing them since middle school and have started disliking the ones I used. My husband was also so impressed with them, as he hasn't been to an eye doctor in many years! I am so incredibly impressed with the service they had. I don't plan on going anywhere else 😊😊😊😊😊

Incredible experience. I didn’t catch the names of the 2 ladies working at the front desk, but they were incredibly kind and helpful. I saw Dr. Ramos and what an incredibly efficient appointment!! The appointment was quick yet informative. Dr. Ramos made sure all of my questions were answered before I left and introduced me to some very comfortable new contact lenses. I came a few years ago and made the mistake of going to Stanton optical last year, but will be sticking with this office for the future. Plus, for me, the retinal imaging they offer is very important to me as glaucoma runs in my family and I have a medical issue that can affect my optic nerves, so having all of my questions answered without having to have my eyes dilated definitely gives me peace of mind.

The staff was extremely helpful and extremely friendly. It was an overall pleasurable experience. However, I’m taking off one star for them using LensCrafters as their eyeglass supplier. Unfortunately LensCrafters does not offer a comparable benefit when using insurance even though they said it was comparable, there was a $190 difference between what my insurance should’ve covered and what they would have covered. If it wasn’t for that I would have definitely gotten my glasses there. However if you were just looking for an eye exam these people are super friendly

I had a wonderful experience for my exam! I used to come here when it was a different practice, and I will say, the experience was so much better this time than any other time. I honestly believe this is the best eye exam experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve been wearing glasses/contacts for almost 23 years! I saw Dr. Greyson Ramos! He was very kind, has a great sense of humor, very thorough, and I felt like he truly cared about me/my eye health. Also, I originally had an apt, but thought I wouldn’t be able to attend. They texted me, and let me know they could see me as a walk-in that same day (a Saturday)! Excellent service. I waited around almost 40 mins to be seen, which is not bad considering they had other, actual set apts coming in. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely continue coming here to see Dr. Ramos yearly! Thank you to the front desk staff/the technician as well, they were nice, and the technician was very personable :)

Dr. Ryan Corte was very pleasant and professional, and his staff helped explain every test performed on my eyes. Dr. Corte found a suspicious area of one eye near the retina, which I would not have otherwise known was there. He wrote a prescription for corrective vision glasses and it was very convenient to simply go next door to a place where they fill prescriptions and have an ample selection of frames. I plan to return next year to get my eyes checked again. It was a great experience and I encourage others to give Northlake Eye a chance.
